This is another great book in Jenn McKinlay’s Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. The author gives enough background so that you could start reading the series with this book and you’d enjoy the mystery, but a large part of my enjoyment in reading this was the development in the characters I’ve followed in the previous nine books.

Another reliably entertaining cozy mystery from McKinlay. This series is comfort food.

I love Jenn McKinlay's writing so it's no wonder I found this story absolutely delicious. I've been following this series for a while now and the growth of the characters is evident. The storyline even and steady that ends in a surprising climax. This is one book that is to be savored as a delectable treat!

It’s a busy time at Fairy Tale Cupcakes as the staff get ready for Angie and Tate’s wedding and also to provide cupcakes for a book signing event. The book in question is raising some eyebrows and some tempers as the author has unleashed a torrent of very personal gossip about the local residents. When everyone Angie has hired to work at her wedding start to keel over and die, Melanie has to somehow put two and three together to make four so she can figure out why. This is such a fun series, and always makes me hungry with yummy recipes and food descriptions
