Hello Mornings is an inspiring book that is based upon a really simple 3-minute, 3-step routine that helps you begin your day by focusing on God first – then establishing your plans for the day – then doing something healthy. While Kat offers specific steps to get you started, she also provides workbook style guidance – with space for journaling – to help you identify any potential barriers to getting started and to help you customize the plan so that it fits your personality, lifestyle and season in life.

Hello Mornings is a personal growth book that will help you to grow spiritually and to be more effective in managing your time and taking care of yourself.

Hello Mornings by Kat Lee explains that it is possible to wake up for your life and not just to your life. Kat Lee runs three successful podcasts—The Inspired to Action podcast, the Hello Mornings podcast, and the How They Blog podcast. I have long enjoyed her podcasts and was excited to pick up this book to learn more about her philosophy of waking up early to change your life. Her plan is surprisingly simple to implement and highly effective when I have used it. I would highly recommend this book as a quick read for anyone who wants to live their life with purpose and not simply reactively. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest review.

Kat Lee has one of my favorite podcasts (Inspired to Action), so I was excited to read her new book. Hello Mornings is a Christian how-to book on setting up easy, quick habits to make your life run better and with intention. I appreciated how easy it is to set up - 3 minutes is all you need, and you can expand it as time allows. But what I appreciated most is that if life gets hectic, you can always scale back to the three minute routine and begin again. The author has a very calming tone in her book, staying away from a preachy voice I often hear when reading books on forming habits. I would encourage young Christian moms that want more intention in their morning routines to read this book, and look forward to seeing more from this author.

Hello Mornings presents an easy method to take control of your mornings. The method is simple and doable, but buried in a lot of information.

The morning routine method in this book is helpful. It’s a great way to make a healthy change without causing you to become even more overwhelmed; in fact, it will likely alleviate stress.

I plan on trying the morning routine as well as two other ideas. I loved the idea of making tiny goals instead of New Year’s resolutions. That way, you’re more likely to accomplish them.

I also like the part about building habits. The process progresses slowly. You start with an action that’s so tiny, you can do it no matter what and without thinking. If, after building up to bigger actions, you have to scale down, you can fall back on that first habit, instead of quitting altogether.

The book offers a wealth of ideas, which is good since just about everyone, regardless of personality, can benefit from at least some of them. The main problem for me was that I already spend a lot of time planning my schedule and figuring out how to improve, and so some of these ideas are ones I’d already thought of. In addition, many of the examples and scientific studies were already familiar to me.

This book takes a long time to get to the practical stuff. I came looking for a quick, sparse, practical, and simple morning routine. It was all those things, except sparse. Just about every point gets an example of some kind—a story or metaphor.

The early chapters are about getting to know yourself, but personality tests, mission statements, and time tracking are all activities I’ve done before. If that’s you, too, you can probably skip these chapters.

The quick review list at the end of the book is helpful because you can finish the book knowing what you need to do next.

I recommend reading this if you need a better morning routine, but be ready to do some skimming.

The book is broken into three parts over eleven chapters. The three parts are why mornings are important, a blue print for daily routine and tools to make a daily routine.
I love that this book doesn’t tell me that I have to do very specific things in a very specific way for success. It takes into account that our lives all look differently. Therefore this book will work for the single girl, the stay at home mom, the working mom and just about anyone else.
Tools, techniques and blue prints, not a must do. The plan starts simple and easy to cut back when needed and grow as you grow.
The author is genuine and relatable, her heart is in this to give us the right start to our day. This book is full of encouragement.

"Hello Mornings" is such a fun, conversational read. The author speaks casually, but clearly, and makes it feel as if she's accompanying you on a journey. Never once does she get preachy or condescending but she *does* get funny without being cheesy. Its a very fun read.

However, she also gives good advice. Its a great idea to shave down a beginner routine into 3 minutes because it just sounds so dang achievable, even if you're a mom about to pull her hair out for lack of any time at all. Plus, the author is so enthusiastic and encouraging, you feel like you can do it.

Many times, books by bloggers can feel like a couple blog posts they slapped together with one or two transition sentences. This avoids that trap completely and reads like a cohesive whole. In fact, until the author mentioned it, I didn't even know she ran a blog!

Overall a fun, encouraging read with lots of great tools for building good habits for your mornings. Really enjoyable to spend time with.

Mornings are crucial for starting your day on the right foot, and Hello Mornings is a positive, upbeat way to help focus on your plans. Spiritually-focused, Kat Lee has a friendly way of writing, just like she's talking to you. She says early on that she's not naturally organized, so it's something she has to work on, too. Filled with strategies and good ideas, I found this a refreshing read with much self-acceptance. I hope to incorporate some of Kat's ideas. For example, she has a great discussion on time- if you have enough time, and if not, why not. It's an eye-opener for sure. This is a great read, I'm happy to have read it, and I plan to re-visit in the future.

Thank you to Kat Lee, Thomas Nelson, and Netgalley, for the opportunity to read an advanced copy.

This book is just what I needed! I have been in a time struggle for quite some time. I don't at all struggle to accomplish my work, it's not that, what I struggle with is finding time for myself. This book gives you a practical outlook on life that I realize now that I was lacking, and its easy-to-follow advice is something I'm already implementing to positive results. I highly recommend!
