Sloane Crosley comes Look Alive Out There—a brand-new collection of essays filled with her trademark hilarity, wit, and charm. This book is definitely a more mature Crosley but the stories are equally funny.

Sloane Crosley is still hilarious. This collection started off a little rough for me, as I wasn't sure what to make of all the complaints about her raucous teenage neighbors - but she manages to turn the essay into something funny and bittersweet all at once. I don't know that it's outdone I Was Told There'd Be Cake for me, but it was certainly an enjoyable collection.

Another great read from Sloane Crosley. I have added my name to my library's holds list so that I can re-read it when it comes in. I also plan to put in on my staff picks shelf.
