Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I liked the family aspect of this book. I liked Nick—he was cute. But I found it hard to connect with Julia.

It was a nice and easy read, for sure, perfect for the summer.

Summer Constellations is the perfect summer YA novel. I love romance novels that are set by a lake, the lake almost always becomes a character itself. This was certainly the case here, also. I would definitely recommend this one.

Teenage angst at its best!

If you haven't been in the wild and see the sky at night, it is an amazing experience. Reading this book feels like the same - perfect for a summer romance to bloom.

The characters are very well rounded and have real problems. Although the storyline is a basic romance, it is a feel good experience to read about it.

Had a really nice time reading it.

I love books that take place during this summer and this was a great read. A heartbreaking and restoring novel about a young girl who wants nothing more than for things to be okay. I love the relationship that develops between Nick and Julia.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I loved the setting of this book and the characters, however, the story was a little too yo-yo for me.

I liked the setting of a campground - it made for good scenery, like the lake, woods, endless stars, etc. Sevigny did a good job with the writing as well, and included some pretty funny moments. There were, however, quite a few "jump the shark" moments that knocked this one down a few stars for me. But overall it was an enjoyable summer read.

Had trouble getting this to download to my Aldiko app so I was unable to read it. Still interested and plan to pick it up soon!

For me this book felt like it was on a loop - they were on again, off again, on again, off - several times. Each time it would start and stop abruptly. There wasn’t enough interest or anticipation to keep me reading. However the story idea is good and the characters are likable. It just wasn’t quite for me.

Summer Constellations was a perfect description of the well-known phrase "when you know, you know". I thought it was such a beautiful read. Alisha Sevigny wonderfully wrote about how fast you can fall in love without realizing, but deep down you know how true your feelings are. This book was sad, funny, sweet, and truthful. I believe that any teenage girl would find this book captivating!

a YA light summer romance, full of love and to complete with many adventures involving starry skies, bands, tension and friendship.
I really liked the main couple, I connected with them from the beginning and I was too keen for everything to be resolved in the best way possible.
I loved the cover that perfectly matches the book.
Highly recommended

Thank you net galley for the advance reader copy of this novel. I enjoyed this contemporary YA romance. This was a light summer read about two characters who Don initially start off on the right foot. Julia is the daughter of s camp ground owner and Nick is the son of a developer. The two end up in love over the course of the summer. I appreciated that there wasn't sex in this novel. The language could have been a bit cleaner. The uncovering of the treasure took a bit long for all the hinting that was done. Overall, a nice summer read.

I received an ARC copy from netgalley for my honest review,  so thank you netgalley and publishers for offering me this book! ♡
The cover and title is what originally drew me to this book. I really wanted to like it, but I couldn’t get into it. It was so slow and I just couldn't do it.
This was my first book by this author, It was okay. It was slow paced but it was alltogether an easy read. ♡ I give this book a
2.5 star rating!

I expected it to be a bit cliché, but not that much. Repeating how hot the guy is five times just after meeting him, saying ‘you’re not like other girls,’ or criticising the new girlfriend without a reason are things I thought we were over by now. Some of the characters, like Taylor and Nick, were the embodiment of the stereotypes we’ve already seen a thousand times, and they weren’t believable at all. The romance wasn’t realistic either: they fell in love in two days and then kept fighting for reasons that didn’t make much sense and could’ve been solved with a bit of communication.
However, not everything was bad. Even though the focus of the story was the romance, nature was also important, and I have to say the descriptions of the setting were beautiful. You could tell the author loves nature. Another element quite relevant was Julia’s family: they’re very close and I liked that they didn’t take a back seat in the story, especially Caleb, Julia’s little brother, who was undoubtedly my favourite character because of his adventurous spirit and good relationship with his sister.
In conclusion: good setting, but the characters in general and the plot left a lot to be desired.

This book was a wonderful mix of romance, family and character development. Nick and Jules were so swoon-worthy. I fell in love with them individually and as a couple. They were pretty equal in the way that they'd actually converse, leaving out petty arguments and confidently voicing their opinions. They were also aware of their wrongdoings and mistakes, and knew when to apologise. I have respect for anyone - fictional character or not - who can do this, and here we have two of them!

The characters were funny and sweet and genuinely so likable. They were easy to love and were just a wonderful bunch of characters.
Except for Dan, who I really didn't like. Thankfully he didn't turn me off, but the thought of him makes me want to throw mouldy lemons at him.

The plot and the writing flowed really well, the drama was kept to a minimum BUT IT WAS THE RIGHT AMOUNT. I found that this made it more realistic - nothing blew out of proportion, and the characters handled it pretty well.

Gosh I could gush about this book all day long. It was so sweet and I fell in love. Definitely a must-read for those looking for a breezy summer romance! It will stay with you for a long time.

2.5 stars for me. I appreciated Julia's struggles with her brother's illness and her father's leaving, however, I didn't believe that Nick and Julia really felt strongly for each other. I really liked the idea of the plot, but felt there was something lacking in execution. Even though this book wasn't for me, I do think there is an audience that will really like Julia and Nick's time together.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A quick summer read about first loves, what we think are first loves, and true love. The characters flowed well with each other. I felt a little put off at times by Dan - he was one character who irritated me besides the big and bad Mr. Constantine.

I loved the entire story from the second I started reading it to the end. I fell in enamored with the love Nick and Jules had. They did not get into petty arguments that were insignificant, but rather they fought for what they believed in. They even admitted to their wrongdoings when they knew when they were at fault. I can not even be jealous of my girl Julia because she just was too funny and cute to just not genuinely like (love in my case). Overall, this was a book I will forever read when I just need some inspiration from or astrology facts.

Summer Constellations by Alisha Sevigny is a delightful young adult romance, that I really enjoyed. Julia is devastated when her mother announces they might have to sell their campground, where they live. A developer is interested in the land, and with outstanding medical bills, Julia's mother doesn't think they have a choice. Julia is determined to save her childhood home, can she do it? I recommended this book to anyone who wants a sweet summer romance, looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley (thank you!) in exchange for an honest review.

When I first saw this on Netgalley, I just knew that I had to request this. The book summary sounded great, and not to mention the gorgeous cover! I knew that I would like this, but I didn't expect to love Summer Constellations.

To start off, Julia Ducharme is such an interesting character which I connected to instantly. Julia is witty, sweet, passionate, and I think her love for astronomy kinda rubbed off on me; I learned several cool facts! Aside from that, Julia wants to save their campground not only because it's the only home she and her family grew up in, but she also wants to preserve the beautiful nature from being turned into a casino.

Nick Constantine, on the other hand, is the epitome of perfection. He is just so charming, gentle, and the best boyfriend anyone can ever ask for. He just knows what to say all the time, and he jumped in front of a freaking skunk for Julia and her little brother! Other than that, I love how Nick and Julia's conversations are mostly about stuff that matter. Not just banter and small talk.

And don't forget Caleb, Julia's little brother. Oh, how I love that nine-year-old kid. He didn't let his condition hinder him from helping out to save the campground. His passion and bravery is just so amazing to read about.

Furthermore, I love how the book mainly focuses on the relationship between Julia and her family, and Julia and Nick; the fact that Julia's best friend, Paige, went to Osaka in the first chapter of the book contributed to that hence she wasn't present in most of the book. I would have like a little bit more depth to Julia and Paige's friendship, though.

From the way it was described, I think that the campground is breathtaking and the author did a great job in painting a picture of it in the readers' mind. I actually have the urge to go to a campground as well for the summer.

I definitely recommend this book, especially for fans of contemporary books. This a short but sweet, humorous book perfect for the summer! I will surely be on the look-out for more of Sevigny's works.

Review:
This is a very sweet summer story. It follows a girl named Julia and her family. They own and run a seasonal campground.

It starts the first day of summer vacation after her graduation. This day consists of her best friend leaving for the summer, her finding out the boy she was waiting to spend the summer with has arrived with his girlfriend and her mother is considering selling their family campground to pay off their medical bills from when her brother was ill. Not a great start to the summer until she meets a tall dark and handsome stranger in the dock. There is immediate chemistry but you soon find out he is the son of the enemy - the people who are interested in buying the campground.

This book is an easy read - it flows well and I liked it a lot. The drama level was pretty low but enough to keep the reader engaged.

This book of perfect for older teen readers and up.

There are some sexual situations.
