Yes, well-written. Yes, witty. This creative, and tres irreverent tome will appeal to those who rather than worshipping God, worship their dogs. Lazarus crosses the line--admittedly so--with his satirical banter. That said, even true believers in the One who strung the heavens together with a word and who created humans, dogs and everything that exists may smile at many of the witticisms. The author is an equal-opportunity offender, mocking those on the left, right, and offering crass stereotypical allusions to a few religious groups in particular. We'll save our shekels and pass on this one. We'd rather spend them on treats for Rover.
