I hope that I never need this book, but if I do, I will be very glad that I read it. Friends and relatives affected by cancer could have used the advice in this book. It is clear and well-written.

I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2004 when I was 49 years old. I had a full mastectomy with chemo and radiation. I also had a tram-flap reconstruction. I wish that I had had this book as a resource back then. There's so much time pressure and medical pressure that I really could have used it. I think this is a great source of information and support. It's well-written, clear and understandable. Highly recommended.

Thank you to Net galley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
