I don’t know why this keeps happening to me, especially given the number of books I read, but I am once again late to the party. I suspect that I may have missed out.
But let me deal with the one book in the series that I have read.
Brand and Sahara. Hmm. Well, she is confident almost to the point of being unlikeable. You note that I say almost. Because the author keeps her on the right side of that line by giving insights into her psyche.
Same with Brand. The dual POV approach to the storytelling works well to soften their edges and make the story work.
Good chemistry, a decent plot, a cogent threat and pacing that ensures that the story never bogs down. Well worth a read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Even though this is book four in the series, I haven’t read any of the others and was able to follow along with the storyline without having read the others.
This book is about Saraha who inherited the Body Armor, an elite bodyguard service, from her brother who is missing and presumed dead. But Saraha thinks that he could still be alive. She has her sites on Brand Berry to add to her agency but Brand doesn’t like to mix business with pleasure and he is all about seducing Saraha instead of working for her.
I loved Saraha. She knows what she wants and she a take no prisoner type of gal.
I really liked the characters, enough that I will be adding the other books in the series to my TBR.

Ahh, the finale to the Body Armor series! I've been looking forward to this story since we got to meet the ever kick-ass Sahara Silver, boss of Body Armor. She very easily stole the limelight in the previous books with her sass and confident attitude and I think she even jumps up a couple notches on the badass list in this book. Don't believe me? How's this:
"For a moment her body pressed to his, the soft swells of her breasts reminding him that she'd removed her bra.
To make a handle.
For a shiv."
It was kind of a life-or-death moment, so you go girl.
Brand was a nice match for Sahara. He wasn't easily bossed around and was stubborn enough to match her stubbornness. There was some teasing of the potential spark in the previous book as Sahara tried to recruit Brand (also MMA fighter) to work for Body Armor. In this book, it was an wildfire of chemistry.
In the vein of the series, this book is a romance wrapped up in some good ol' suspense and drama. We finally get to delve into her brother Scott's mysterious disappearance/death. And that comes with some kidnappers, baggage and big revelations!
Overall, a nice conclusion to the series. I'm a little sad to see it end since I really liked the Body Armor boys and girls. I loved that they often showed up throughout the series and was such an awesome group of friends. And I loved that Sahara got to be a part of this group. This is definitely worth checking out if you're a Lori Foster fan.

Sahara Silver is a woman on a mission. Now if she can just get one sexy fighter to work for her and fill her bed. Sahara is convinced brother is alive she is determined to find him and prove to him she can run Body Armor. Being kidnapped because her brother didn’t pay for services rendered things are starting to get interesting? Brand is determined to keep Sahara safe and Sahara is determined to get to the bottom of her brother’s disappearance. Now can these two figure out they are perfect for each other.
I have so enjoyed this series and will miss these character.

From the first time Sahara Silver met Brand Berry she has felt some serious chemistry. Brand has felt the same, she feels the best way to get to him is hiring him to help her. He refuses to take on her job because he wants more from her. All of this is forgotten the minute Sahara is kidnapped, he immediately steps up to the plate to save her.
I have read a few of Ms Fosters books and truly I feel like I need to go back and read all of them. She has serious talent in the telling of a romantic/suspense novel. Her men are exactly what I want, strong, loyal, loving, protective alpha males and the women are smart, strong, independent spitfires.
I already purchased the previous books in this series and highly recommend. 4.5 Stars.

As the driving force behind Body Armor, Sahara has intrigued me from the very first book in this series! She is smart, beautiful, and driven, and she lives for her job. From the day she met Brand, she has been doggedly pursuing him to either join her as an employee or in her bed; she just can't decide which one she wants more. Sahara is not a woman who is used to being told no, but Brand seems to the one man she cannot sway with sex appeal and a great sales pitch.
Brand is definitely interested in Sahara, but he absolutely cannot see himself working for her. He knows she is married to the job which is problem number one for him. Add in that she is altogether too bossy and pushy when he is a man who enjoys being in charge himself, and he could easily see them butting heads constantly. Of course, that could be a little bit fun too but he has bigger problems to deal with at the moment. His birth mother's medical issues and constant demands take a lot of his time, and he has a looming decision to make about his career too. All that gets put on hold when Sahara is kidnapped by men who think she knows where her presumed- dead brother Scott may be hiding.
Despite his best intentions, Brand is pulled into the Body Armor world as he is determined to protect Sahara from danger and her own sometimes reckless decisions. She is a very capable woman who knows what she wants, but Brand is also an alpha protector to the core so they definitely clash quite a few times! The tension between them continues to build, and Brand soon finds out there is more to this intriguing woman than a spoiled wealthy girl who was handed a company on a silver platter. She doesn't show vulnerability to anyone, but Brand and his friends have a way of breaking down her walls.
The story is fast-paced and action-packed as the whole team races to try to find out who is behind the kidnapping attempts and whether Scott is truly still alive. The author doesn't skimp on the steam either once Sahara and Brand finally get on the same page! They have a bit of a bumpy road trying to come to an agreement that works for two strong, dominant personalities, but they find a way to make it work. I definitely enjoyed Fast Burn, and it's a wonderful addition to a great series!

Fast Burn is the fourth title in the Body Armour series. As I’ve read the previous three titles I’ve been eagerly awaiting Sahara Silver’s story since she was first introduced.
Sahara and Brand have an intense chemistry that was prevalent in the previous title and continues to burn and build over the course of the story line.
As I’ve come to expect from Ms Foster, these pair had a path full of complications, intrigue, mystery and danger, before they can find a happy ever after. Their interactions and banter is witty, flirtatious and argumentative, full of heat and passion. Brand and Sahara are quite similar in personality, being strong willed and like to be in charge.
Sahara is no wilting wall flower, she’s strong, fierce, bossy and is incredibly independent.
Brand is an MMA fighter, he epitomises all things alpha, and is incredibly protective, caring and strong.
Anyone familiar with this series will be aware of the mystery regarding Scott Silver and his disappearance, and you will finally get some closure with this title.
Overall this title is well paced, with sexual tension that oozes from the page. I quite enjoyed the conclusion to this series, and look forward to seeing what Ms Foster comes up with next.

Fast Burn is the fourth and final book in the Body Armor series and it is going out with a bang as readers finally get Sahara and Brand’s story. Sahara is running her brother’s security agency, comprised of former MMA fighters, as he has mysteriously disappeared. She is a determined, take charge woman who does not take no for an answer. She has been pursuing Brand to come on board as one of her security guards but he always refuses. He is not sure he wants to leave his MMA career. Whenever they are around one another, the chemistry between the two is palpable. However, Brand is not convinced that Sahara wants him for himself or as just another male for the agency and the last thing he wants is to get involved with his boss. When Sahara is kidnapped, all bets are off as Brand is the first one to go after her and stake his claim. He will do everything in his power to protect her. When they are forced to stay together, they finally have the chance to own up to their feelings. Will they? Can they work together to figure out the mystery of what happened to Sahara’s brother? This is one highly engaging read with twists, turns and dynamic characters. This book is one to keep on your shelf and you will be prone to re-read it.
I volunteered to read an arc provided by Netgalley.

Lori does it again! You cheer for this couple and enjoy every minute of watching them fall in love. Thanks Lori!~

Really?! First, let me say I was a little biased when I started this series. My first romantic series was Lori Foster's Buckhorn series and it became the gold standard that I judged all my other books read by, I mean I re-read them so many times I could almost recite certain parts if not most of some. I've collected and read many different authors and if they aren't writing in the genre I'm used to or prefer sometimes it makes it harder for me to enjoy them.
I can honestly say that Lori Foster's not one of them. I LOVE all of her books and how you feel like you know the characters and through other books are introduced to more great stories to come. I'm sorry that the Body Armor series is ending, but am more than confident that Lori will. have an equally great series for us all to enjoy soon! Brand and Sahara's story was a great ending and of course a wonderful love story.
Thanks for all of the amazing stories and I feel so lucky to have been able to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

"Fast Burn" is the fourth and final book in the romantic suspense series Body Armor by Lori Foster and it's just amazing.
Sahara and Brand, the two protagonists are both compelling as characters, with dominant personalities, tough, but they are full of passion and when they're together in the same room sparks fly.
Sahara is a real challenge for Brand and I loved their chemistry.
Since her brother mysteriously disappear Sahara took his place leading his private security agency, making some changes, and choosing as bodyguards gourgeous former MMA fighters, prepared for every kind of situation when they must protect their clients from danger, but they also look very very hot.
In the previous books we met Leese, Justice and Mikes and I really enjoyed their books.
With Fast Burn, however, we are at the next level. It's perfect.
Sahara is one of the most intriguing female protagonists I've read about lately. Determined, always used to take charge of things and lead dictating the rules, she's also fearless, smart and with nerves of steel in every situation. For some time she's pursuing Brand, hoping to convince him to join her other men, but his answer is always "no thanks".
He is an excellent MMA fighter, with a sharp mind and hot, and has no intention of giving in to the temptation of Sahara's job.
Between them there is a strong attraction, they can't hide it, they tease each other, but Brand prefers to keep control of the situation avoiding mixing together work and pleasure. For him, Sahara is special, he would like something more between them, but he is not so sure for Sahara it's just a game to have her way with him and the agency. Then they should face the question "who-rule-who-and-when".
Everything changes when Sahara is kidnapped by a group of men and asks for Brand's help.
I really enjoyed this part of the story, the mystery about the disappearance of Sahara's brother deepens even more, bringing to light a lot of questions about him.
Even with her kidnappers Sahara doesn't change attitude, she's incredible, and surprises everyone with her skills, she's a real MacGyver on heels, leaving Brand speachless. Protecting her will be a hard task for him.
Because of their forced cohabitation it's no longer possible for them to hide what they're feeling and they have the chance to see aspects of each other they didn't know, like discovering Brand's past for Sahara.
The plot is well written, skilfully alternating romance between the two protagonists and everything that happens around them, keeping a fast pace, thanks to the action scenes and the enigma about the identity of the kidnappers, but above all their motivations.
It's a wonderful series to read, engaging, and the beautiful covers are definitely eye candy!!! How can you even think Sahara to keep up with him? And yet she can do it, and they are great together!
RATING 5 STARS
SENSUALITY 4/5

I've been eagerly awaiting Brand and Sahara's story. It lived up to my expectations. What I really loved about this book is how strong of a character Sahara is. She has a ton of guts and it made my heart happy to see how protective Brand is of her. She needs a guy like him in her corner. Along with the other guys of Body Armor they have her back like she's really never had before. The suspense elements in this one had me flipping the pages to see where this story was going to go. A few twists that had me on the edge of my seat. All the characters from the previous books pop up in this one especially since the guys work for her. Brand and Sahara are perfect for one another because they like each for who they are. It's really beautiful. I was so happy with this book and I can't recommend it enough.

Fast Burn is a standalone in the Body Armor series by Lori Foster. While has characters and reference to the other books it holds it's own. Brand and Sahara are perfect for each other. When trouble strikes Brand can no longer deny his attraction and sets about protecting and claiming his woman. Sahara is a driven, independent woman who has trouble letting go. Brand gives her not only the shoulder to lean on, but the space to maintain her sense of self.
I was given an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was an enjoyable addition to the series. Likeable characters and typical plot.

4.5*
Fast Burn is the sexy, suspenseful conclusion to the Body Armor series. As the saying goes, they save the best for last, and in this case I am in complete agreement! Although I’ve loved each of the books in this series, this one was probably my favorite.
Sahara has been such an interesting character throughout these books, one we really haven’t gotten to know very well, so it was great to finally get her full story. While her main focus has been on finding her brother and proving he’s not really dead, Sahara’s taken the protection agency he started and revamped and improved it. She’s ballsy, bossy, and very independent. She knows what she’s wants, and she wants Brand. He’s the fighter she just can’t convince to work for her. Brand has other things in mind when it comes to Sahara, and it has nothing to do with working for her. But when her life is put in danger, because of her presumed dead brother, Brand takes it upon himself to be her protector. As if the chemistry sizzling between the 2 wasn’t hot enough, when they’re “forced” into close quarters it threatens to combust.
What ensues is a highly entertaining story that’s packed full of adventure and mystery, with secrets revealed and deceptions exposed. As Sahara, Brand, and the rest of the Body Armor crew work to discover who is behind her kidnapping, the circumstances behind her brother’s disappearance begin to emerge, adding another layer of depth to this story.
Fast-paced, with a slow burn, I really couldn’t have asked for a better end to this book, or this series. 4.5*

This is the story I've been waiting for. Throughout the series we've gotten to know Sahara as the take charge, strong willed boss of Body Armor. Then there's Brand, MMA fighter, that Sahara wants to work for her but also just wants him. Although that feeling is mutual, they both like to be in control and don't want to give in. Then Sahara is kidnapped and Brand is playing the hero and not leaving her side. The chemistry between them is off the charts and sizzles the pages.
This story has lots of kickass action, suspense, sizzling romance and even lighthearted humorous moments. The disappearance of her brother, who is presumed dead, was always in the backstory of the previous books and is resolved in this book. A must read of the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

This series can totally be read as all standalones, however I will warn you that this book does bring the entire team together in one common goal and if it’s your first read of this series, you’re gonna want to immediately binge read from the beginning LOL Because these guys are awesome!
So this is the story of Sahara and Brand. All I can say is that it’s about damn time ;) Some of us have been waiting for this for a while. Now that I see the entire series as a whole, it makes sense Sahara would come last. I love that the author picked two alpha characters to pair together. It made for quite a feisty read at times! Their chemistry sparked right off the pages. I really enjoyed them a lot.
This is the end of yet another excellent series by this author. I’ve been reading books by this author for years and I’ve loved every turn she has taken, some more than others, but loved none the same. The dram and suspense were equally spaced with the romance journey and bringing everyone together gave the series one of the best closures I’ve read in a long time. You know what to expect with this author and she delivers in spades! Well done. Looking forward to what she does next!

Sahara is running her brothers bodyguard business, Body Armor, and is holding out the hopes that contrary to every ones belief that her brother is alive after some kind of scene that left little hope. Until then shes trying to get Brand to work for Body Armor but he is a MMA Fighter and not sure if he want to be apart of her team. But when Sahara was kidnapped Brand does everything he can to retrieve and protect her and find the people behind her kidnapping
I loved this book. I loved how strong willed, determined, and Sahara was, she hardly let anything get her down. I loved that even in the face of danger she kept her wits about her and refused to be a victim. I loved how protective Brand was and that he would do anything to make sure that Sahara was safe, even if for the most part she had things handled. I loved that there was enough mystery and suspense to keep things interesting and there was the bit of romance between Sahara and Brand. I loved their connection and seeing how everything played out for the two in this book. As you can see there seems to be a trend with this review and its pretty obvious how much I loved this book. But even more so the series so if you are looking for your next binge read I'd suggest you check out this series your not going to want to miss it.

Sahara and Brand's story was really good! Within the first two chapters I was completely hooked. Lori Foster knows how to create suspense and keep a reader on the line. I didn't like how hard Sahara was, but I also knew it was a defense mechanism. Brand was sexy and just the right man for her. There were aspects of the story I was able to predict, but that did not take away from the story. It was really an enjoyable book and I definitely recommend it.

4.25 stars-- FAST BURN is the fourth (and final?) instalment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult BODY ARMOR romantic, suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for Body Armor Security. This is MMA fighter Brand Berry, and Body Armor manager Sahara Silver’s story line. FAST BURN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from several third person perspectives including Brand and Sahara FAST BURN follows the building relationship between MMA fighter Brand Berry, and Body Armor owner and boss Sahara Silver. Since the disappearance and presumed death of her brother Scott, Sahara Silver has taken over the hiring and management of Body Armor Security. Hoping to lure Brand Berry as a potential member of her security team Sahara battles between her head and her heart as her attraction to the MMA fighter begins to interfere in their professional relationship. When several threats against our heroine’s life implicate more problems for her missing brother Brand Berry steps in as Sahara’s personal bodyguard-both in and out of the office. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Brand and Sahara, and the potential fall-out as her brother’s past is seeking revenge, using Sahara as a pawn in a twisted game of vengeance and power.
Brand Berry’s attraction to Sahara is tempered by her take-charge attitude, an attitude our hero knows very well. An alpha to the core Brand struggles with Sahara’s power and authority fearing falling in love with a woman who has the potential to emasculate our hero both in and out of the bedroom. Sahara is a strong-willed heroine who is not afraid to tell it like it is. Falling for Brand Berry meant occasionally stepping back and letting the man with whom she is falling in love, take charge in order to protect her life. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.
There is a large ensemble cast of familiar secondary and supporting characters including all of the previous story line couples: Leese and Catalina (Under Pressure #1), Justice and Fallon (Hard Justice #2), Miles and Maxi (Close Contact #3), and Sahara’s PA Enoch. We are introduced to Brand’s parents John and Ann, as well as Brand’s birth mother Becky. The requisite evil has several faces, many connected to Sahara’s brother’s past.
The world building continues to focus on protection, suspense, romance and love. The MMA aspect is negligible with only a couple of mentions about potential fights, in the future.
FAST BURN is a fast paced, energetic and suspense filled story of revenge, power, secrets and lies. The premise is spirited, powerful and driving; the characters are rugged, determined and colorful; the romance is seductive and passionate. FAST BURN is an electrifying and dramatic story about two people pulled together by circumstance, attraction and love.

Fast Burn **received an ARC in exchange for an honest review** 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have been waiting for Sahara’s story from the beginning of the Body Armor series and Lori Foster did not disappoint! I love how strong and take charge Sahara is but she also has a vulnerable side to her that she doesn’t show many people. Love the chemistry between her and Brand also, it is spot on and you love the moments they have together. And Lori Foster ties it all together with the mystery of of where Sahara’s brother is and if he is still alive. Get ready for a energy packed book that you will be hooked on! Sahara is a woman who knows what she wants and she wants Brand on her team and maybe in her bed. But he is stubborn and keeps refusing her offers to join her Body Armor team. She also can't deny the attraction between them but she would never get involved with one of her employees. Brand feels a pull towards Sahara but doesn't won't act on those feelings. But when her left is put in danger he can't ignore them anymore. The people after Sahara think her brother is still alive and so does she but she has nothing to go on. And as she gets closer to Brand she begins to think maybe they have a chance. But will they allow themselves the chance with one another?
