The finial installment of The Body Armor series is here! That's right people! Fast Burn is finally here! And if you have ever read any Lori Foster books, you know that this is the book where all the questions are answered, and I have to say, as a long time Lori Foster fan, I did not see some of that coming!!
Some of you may remember Brand Berry The Ultimate Series, well, if you remember Close Contact, you were left wondering if Brand was going to leave the MMA behind and finally give in to Sahara Silvers wish to have him join Body Armor Inc! And I'm not going to reveal that detail here, but what I will say, is that while investigating the her missing brother, Sahara is kidnapped, and it left to Brand and the guy to get her back, to uncover whom has taken her, to find her brother, be it dead or alive and to bring people to justice!
Oh my goodness! This book is everything I hoped it to be...with a twist, that I didn't see coming! And I have to say that this book gave me "all the feelings" (as my niece would say) I was surprised, happy, confused, and thrilled, and I have to say that the author gave me food for thought! You truly never know who is the bad guy!
Fast Burn is the perfect ending to the Body Armor series! All loose ends tied up, and you are just left with that warm and fuzzy feeling you get, when two of your favorite characters, finally find their Happy Ever After.
I give Fast Burn 5 stars

Fast Burn (Body Armor, #4) by Lori Foster ....I'm so sorry to have this series come to an end...but I know Lori will not disappoint us and can't wait for a new series. Thanks to Lori and #NetGalley I got to preview this book...(I also preordered a copy)... What should I start with...I loved touching base with all the guys and their women...but the best was saved for last...Brand and Sahara stole my heart... I always feel like I'm right in the story with Lori's books and this was no different. There is danger..laughs..loving(hot) ...in the end all questions answered and best of all a HEA.

I am so glad to finally get Sahara's story. The whole thing between Sahara and Brand through the other books and the mystery of her brother. The chemistry between them is so strong. Sahara is so used to being in charge and so is Brand. She wants him to work for her and he won't because he wants more than a business relationship. After Sahara is kidnapped, all bets are off. Brand will be by Sahara's side no matter what. It will be a battle of wills when Brand tries to protect her. But, they come to an agreement and the sparks fly.

Fast Burn ends the Body Armor series with Brand and Sahara's (long-awaited) story, and it is the perfect wrap-up for this set of characters. That's not to say I wouldn't want to visit them again in an interconnected series. Hint, hint, Lori Foster.
Sahara Silver is a strong-willed, independent woman running her brother's security agency in his absence, and Brand Berry is the MMA fighter she lusts after as a potential bodyguard for Body Armor and as a man for herself.
In the previous books in this series, we got a taste of the chemisty and sexual tension between Brand and Sahara, and in Fast Burn, it all comes to a head.
Lori Foster throws us right into the suspense and intrigue as Sahara is given a lead on her brother's disappearance. Brand, determined to stand by Sahara's the entire time, inserts himself into the thick of things, and they finally have the chance to explore what is between them.
Throughout the book, Brand and Sahara prove to be the other's perfect counterpart. For although Sahara is determined to be strong for herself and by herself, Brand shows her that she can be a strong, independent woman who also allows herself to lean on him and let him be the strong one sometimes.
As always, I love the involvement and reappearances of previous characters, and while I'm sad this series is over, I look forward to what Lori Foster has coming next.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

Sahara Silver has stepped up. After her brother disappeared, she's moved into his house, taken over his business & has never given up on the idea that he's still alive. Apparently she's pushed that thought too far. Now someone is after her. She thinks she has it under control but everyone else thinks she's wrong.
Brand Berry is an MMA fighter. He's trying to decide whether to retire or keep fighting. Sahara has been trying to talk him into joining her security agency, Body Armor. Brand is interested in Sahara but not as his boss. Can he manage to protect her from danger?
I loved these two! Sahara tries so hard to be as tough as her employees, she forgets her own limits. Brand is so protective!! He does try to stand back & let her discover things for herself. I like that although Brand was upset that she didn't understand boundaries, he didn't use it to force her away. Instead he used it as a teaching point when she got upset with him. Great to catch up with the other characters. The plot moves fairly quickly but with several twists to keep you interested & guessing. Another great paced suspense!

For the woman who’s his perfect match, he’s willing to break the rules…
The moment Brand Berry meets beautiful, driven Sahara Silver, the connection between them is electric. It’s also something he can’t pursue. Sahara wants him, sure—to join Body Armor, where his MMA skills, size, and cocky attitude make him perfect for her elite crew of bodyguards. For Sahara, the agency always comes first, and Brand needs more. Yet when she’s kidnapped.
This is the second book in the series I have gotten to read thanks to NetGalley. Not only could I not put this down but I also loved this book even more than the last one I read. I really have to get the first two books as I love all the characters in this series.
Sahara is such a strong independent woman who can take care of her self in heels no less. I loved her in this book and I loved seeing her lean on someone else even if it was for only small amounts of time. I think it showed you can be strong but still have someone help you without it meaning you are weak.
Brand is just amazing, even when he is being a cave man. He is such a strong man who has trouble letting people in so seeing that be chipped away made him the perfect guy.
The side characters added so much to the book like the last one and added to the story in such an amazing way. The only one I was not a fan of was Scott. I am sorry I am not a fan.
Any Romance lovers out there should read Lori Foster's books because she tells an amazing Romance story. I ended up giving this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This final book in the Body Armor series is one that many have been waiting for. Sahara has been this larger than life character. A strong kick ass woman who knows her mind and knows what she wants. Brand Berry has been kind of hanging out in the background a bit until this book. He wants Sahara but thinks Sahara mostly wants him to work for her. This book did not get me excited until the second half. Brand seems to assume a lot of things about Sahara and he underestimates her often. Sahara who has always come across as confident and self assured kind of becomes this train wreck. I thought Lori Foster was going to disappoint. Finally a bit after halfway Brand finally starts to see the real Sahara and she let's her guard down and allows herself to not always be in charge. Well worth hanging on and going the distance. In this last book you really get to see how much all the characters in this series have progressed from book one and I was happy to get that glimpse into how everyone is doing. Great ending of the series.

Sahara Silver is a strong willed, independent, takes no prisoners sort of woman. She took over her brothers bodyguard business after he was presumed dead, which she never believed. She always believed he would come back and take over the company again and she would have her brother back.
Brand Berry is a MMA athlete and Sahara is being very persistent to have him join his company and be a bodyguard, but he has no desire for that. Brand flirts and appeases Sarah and her antics but still will not cave and become employed by her. He has his reasons, but she won't hear them. She just thinks he is being stubborn and that she will sway him.
Sahara gets into some trouble, by getting kidnapped. Brand is there to rescue her, however, she really didn't need rescuing. She thinks it has to do with her brothers disappearance, since she refuses to believe he is dead. Is this her way now of finding out if that is in fact true? Is her believing all this time, really be that he is alive? So if that is the case, why are they after her? She doesn't know his whereabouts or anything. She just knew he wasn't dead, he just didn't want to be found.
Brand is there for her in this adventure of kidnappers, guns, bombs, and along the way they stop resisting their attraction. But is that all that they have, an attraction to each other, or something more, something deeper?
Can Brand explain to Sahara why he doesn't want to work for her and will she come to terms with that? Will Sahara ever find her brother and is he really alive like she thinks and believes?
Loved, loved, loved! So happy to have Sahara's book finally. It was such a great one to read!

If you've read any of the other Body Armor books, you know going into this one that it's guaranteed to sizzle, with big tough Brand and fiery wicked smart Sahara thrown together in a steamy fast-paced suspenseful collision course to the end.
This one is aptly named because these to really burn it up. And, like all things Sahara she weighs in and decides quickly to act instead of react. She's no pushover. And of course when Brand is in, it's a throw down to the finish. If there's one thing he knows how to do it's fight. And what woman wouldn't want him fighting for her and love her.
Lori Foster does not disappoint in this latest addition to the Body Armor series.

This book was the perfection combination of action and heat. Sahara and Brand were so perfect together, they matched wit and intelligence. I loved the banter between them and all the mystery surrounding Sahara's brother. Sahara was take charge kind of gal and Brand was the same, they butted heads a lot. These two together were able to wade through and come out the other side. I can't wait for more from Lori, I love her work.

I'm sad that this series is coming to an end with this one, glad that things have been resolved with Scott, but overall this one wasn't the best of the series for me. I really had a hard time buying into Sahara and Brand as a couple. Part of that could be that Sahara was very much the aggressor in the relationship, which I found odd as she wanted Brand to work for her. All I could think was sexual harassment at it's best. It didn't help that Brand hemmed and hawed about the job with Body Armor. At first I thought it was because he wasn't interested in Sahara, but then I realized it was because he was and things could get messy.
The drama with Scott was a bit blah for me. I didn't like the people involved and why and found it gross that one of the bad guys developed a crush on Sahara and in his own way did what he could to protect her.
What really worked for me was all the guys stepping up to help Sahara and Sahara talking with their women. It seemed like Sahara had female friends for the first time and the advice she got from then was greatly needed.
I was happy with how this one ended, glad that we got our HEA and that Sahara is still firmly in charge of Body Armor.

Fast Burn is the fourth and final book in Loro Foster's Body Armor series. I've enjoyed this romantic suspense series from the guys to the stories. While I am sad to see it end, Foster delivered giving Sahara Silver, the owner of the agency, a delectable romance as she wrapped up an overall arc thread concerning Sahara's brother. Fast Burn was sizzling, suspenseful and all that I hoped Sahara's story would be.

This is the 4th & final book in Lori Foster's Body Armor Agency series. I loved the relationship between Brand & Sahara, it was like a cat & mouse relationship. Will they or won't they be a couple? Both are strong willed characters as well as stubborn, not making their relationship easy. Besides working on running the agency, there are people after Sahara, possibly the ones responsible for her brother's disappearance. Sahara has never given up hope that her brother who has been missing for several years is still alive. I enjoyed the story, and was sad the series is now over. But I did enjoy seeing characters from the other Body Armor Agency series & the Ultimate Fighting series as well.

For fans that waited patiently for Sahara's story, your wish has been granted! Tough, talented, brazen and beautiful, Sahara Silver is running the Body Armor business her brother has left her. She has her eye set on handsome MMA fighter Brand Berry, but Brand is not interested in a working relationship with Sahara. He's after her heart. Soon Sahara's life is interrupted by her own kidnapping. The men of Body Armor come to her rescue, but now they need to figure out who is after her and more importantly, why.
Full of suspense and intrigue along with a little romance, Lori Foster's Fast Burn is a great read!

A wonderful end to a great grouping of books.
Sahara made Body Armor the premier bodyguard agency after her brother was presumed dead. Hiring good looking, muscular men to guard high profile clients. Now she wanted Brand as part of that group. Brand wants something else, her!
As a mystery unravels, they grow much closer.
I loved the ups and downs of the story! I loved seeing someone who loves being the boss give in to letting someone else lead. Can't wait to see what Ms. Foster has up her sleeve for the next set of books

Lori Foster is like a Thanksgiving meal: you know what to expect and you're rarely disappointed. It has been a while since I've read anything by Ms Foster, and I haven't read any of the previous books in the Body Armor series, but that didn't detract from my full enjoyment of this story.
Sahara Silver, owner of Body Armor, has been after Brand Berry for what seems like forever. Not because she wants him (although she does)... she wants him to work for her. Since taking over the company from her brother, Sahara has transformed the security/protection firm into one known for its elite and sexy bodyguards. Sex sells, she always says, so she has gone about finding men who fit the bill.
Unfortunately Brand has other ideas. He wants Sahara, too, and he refuses to give up his shot with her by becoming her employee. He knows she's more than capable of running a business, but in his personal life, Brand is the boss. When Sahara's life is threatened, Brand surges into protective alpha mode. He may not be a trained bodyguard, but his instincts are good and his MMA experience allows him to step into the bodyguard role seamlessly.
Brand Berry was delicious. He was sexy and bossy and tough as hell. I never really got to form a good picture of him in my head from any description, but surprisingly that didn't matter. Sahara was unable to resist him, and I wouldn't have been able to either!
I'm not a big fan of tough chick/powerful female heroines. I find it hard to relate to tough as nails women who don't need a man, but Sahara was a little different. She was strong and confident and bossy, but she was also vulnerable. I liked that she allowed herself to feel something for Brand, even knowing all of their obstacles.
I enjoyed this book very much, and will be going back to start reading this series from the beginning!

Sahara has been trying to get Brand to retire from the fighting circuit and joining her security company Body Armor. She has been running it since her brother disappeared and is presumed dead. She finds herself attracted to him but is sure she can remain professional, Brand is not so sure about himself. When Sahara is abducted for the money that her brother has owed to an off book investigation it cements her belief that he is still alive. Even though Sahara is capable of taking care of herself, Brand is on board to help keep her safe while figuring out the mystery of who her brother owed and if he is still alive. Sahara and Brand have great chemistry with plenty of push and pull to be in charge. Action filled, fast-paced conclusion that includes all the characters from the previous books.

This is the fourth book in the Body Armor series, but it works well as a standalone.
Sahara Silver took over running the Body Armor personal security agency after he brother went missing, presumed dead. She turned the agency around, hiring a number of ex-MMA fighters. She has been after Brand Berry, who hasn’t left fighting yet, but he keeps rejecting her employment offers. The sexual attraction between the two is strong, but Brand will not mix business with pleasure, and Sahara knows that if she hires him, he will be off limits.
The two have been in this dance for months, but when Sahara is kidnapped, Brand immediately gets involved with Body Armor and becomes her protector.
Sahara is amazing, smart, strong, and used to getting her way. She also thinks of herself as a shark. I liked when the kidnappers told her to behave and she didn’t say anything because she wasn’t sure if she could behave. Brand is so alpha, but Sahara is also alpha so they keep clashing. I enjoyed the little see-saw fights, each trying to be the top dog.
I was happy to see Sahara get her own story, and finally get to know Brand.

The long awaited and final Body Armor book does not disappoint!! Sahara has been trying to recruit Brand to work for Body Armor for a long while now and Brand has been quite resistant to that idea. Brand has no issues working for a woman, his problem is their off the charts chemistry and his attraction to Sahara that tells him it’s a bad idea to work for her. Sahara isn’t a woman used to being told no, she wants the insanely attractive Brand to be a part of her team at Body Armor but while she is used to working around all the man candy and being generally unaffected, she can’t stay aloof around Brand. When Sahara gets kidnapped by a group of guys looking for her supposedly dead brother, who she has also been searching for, Brand steps in as her personal bodyguard while they search for answers. Sahara has been sure her brother was still alive but couldn’t find the answers she needed to her questions, suddenly she is in danger and it all seems to revolve around her brother and Sahara is determined to find the truth. I like how from the get go, Brand knew he couldn’t have a working relationship with Sahara because they would eventually cross into a personal relationship even if Sahara was in denial about it. Sahara is probably the best character, she is an all around bada$$ and so incredibly smart, cool under pressure and still awkward around the wives/girlfriends of the guys (which I found funny and relatable). One of my favorite books in the series, I’m going to have to re-read them all now so I can get an uninterrupted read of the entire series. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.*

This is the last in the Body Armor series. Like all the series books, it can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone. I look forward to her next series, now.
This book was a lot of fun. Sahara Silver has decided that bodyguards should be sexy, so she has hired several ex-MMA fighters. She wants Brand Berry for her “stable” of elite bodyguards, with ability and sex appeal, but he resists. He wants a more personal relationship with Sahara, so he refuses to work for her.
Sahara’s older brother, Scott, has been declared dead in a boating accident. She believes him alive and is searching for him. In this book, other people appear who think he may be alive but, dead or alive, he owes them money and they decide to get it from Sahara. That puts her at risk and prompts Brand’s protectiveness. Being forced to spend time together results in some hot scenes!
