Lori Foster is so consistent. Consistently good! I’ve loved Sahara since the first book in the Body Armor series. I couldn’t wait for her story. She’s sassy, strong and still so sweet. She’s a phenomenal boss and friend. Of course, being strong sometimes comes off as unapproachable but Brand is strong and confident and not at all worried about going after Sahara. She’s pursuing him relentlessly to join her firm but he’s just as determined to get her in his bed and life.

Of course, there’s a lot of tension as well. Sahara is under attack. Brand steps up to be her personal body guard day and night. The situation seems to suit both their goals but who will get what they want? Foster does a fabulous job creating lots of intrigue and nail biting action. Who’s after Sahara? Is Scott, her long missing and presumed dead brother, back?

I love Brand. He’s sexy and kind behind all his strength and his cocky attitude. I’ll admit, I was almost jealous of Sahara. Brand is my kind of guy. Which, of course, made the book that much more fun!

I never doubt that reading Foster is going to give me the equal parts of romance and mystery that I love. Fast Burn was all that and even more enjoyable than the first three books in the series, all of which I’ve loved.

Fast Burn is the new release in Lori Fosters "Body Armor" series. I really liked this series and I couldn't wait to read Sahara's story. This was a really sweet story and I loved Brand and Sahara together, Lori Foster always includes this bit of humor into her books that I love and it was really great to see how attracted Brand and Sahara were to each other, but do to family baggage they were both holding back until they couldn't keep away. Sahara is such a great character, she's smart and strong, but she is also very girly and funny in her way of seeing things and Brand is a very sweet and strong character!

This was a good romantic story, and the suspense is good. I would have liked to have seen more resolution with the brother.

Another excellent Lori Foster book. I really thought that it was going to get a little D/s there for a second but she didn't take it that far. Though it would have been interesting if she had.

Fast Burn is Sahara’s turn at a chance for true love. But with her brother Scott still missing, she focuses everything she has on finding him while trying to lure Brand Berry to join her group of Body Armor bodyguards. Somewhere along the way, luring him into the company takes a backseat to the attraction they have for each other. With the enemy getting closer and Sahara is kidnapped, all Brand knows is he must rescue his girl.
A great book in a great series with a five-star recommendation.

Well, Lori Foster has done it again. She added an amazing story to end this wonderful series. Finally, we get Sahara's love story and Brand was the perfect hero for her. A total sigh worthy read with lots of kick ass action. I was gripped with all the action, mystery, and suspense in this story that when I finished it I immediately went back to reread it again. And it was just as great the second time around. It was just that good. I highly recommend this book. My heart is still racing from everything in this story. The steamy sex scenes, the action and the fun banter between the characters. Loved every moment. I especially loved how strong and smart Sahara was and how Brand loved her just the way she was. *happy sigh*

*I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book*

ARC received for review

Hi, it's me. The one who hasn't read the first three books in this series. The only thing that was really explained from the start was his weird family, so I'm guessing it was in one of the previous books. It was talked about like everyone should know it already.

Overall, I loved Brand and Sahara. They were so hot together. I loved their interactions not only with each other, but also with the rest of the team (really makes me wish I had read their books). The brother and bad guys were a piece of work.

Lori Foster delivers on her Body Armor series. We have the main Woman of the company trying to get our guy to join the agency. She flirts, teases but is very serious about wanting him on board. Our Guy is alpha all the way and likes to be in control...so the back and forth between the two is a challenge... But then she needs his help and he is there for her...
A strong read from Foster.

“Fast Burn” by Lori Foster is the fourth and final book in the Body Armor series.

We first met Sahara Silver in book one (“Under Pressure”). In “Fast Burn” we finally get to know the truth about her brother, Scott, the original owner of the Body Armor Agency after Sahara’s life is put in danger.
We also get to watch as Sahara tries to talk Brand Berry into becoming a bodyguard, except Brand has other plans. Namely, Sahara herself. Their interest in one another became apparent in “Close Contact” and now it flares to life.

Brand is adamant at being in charge of their relationship since he hasn’t agreed to work for Sahara. Like all Ms. Foster’s heroes, Brand is the quintessential alpha-protector, not only toward Sahara and making sure whoever is after her doesn’t get too close again, but toward his parents as well. With them, we see more than just the MMA fighter slash protector.
Sahara is fierce and independent and learns she doesn’t have to be in charge all the time.

With the romance between Sahara and Brand flaming hot and with Sahara’s life in danger from a motley crew of thugs, “Fast Burn” has more twists than a country road and keeps you guessing until the final chapter.
Ms. Foster has done a fantastic job in concluding the Body Armor series.

Fast burn is the fourth book in the series by Lori Foster. I have been a fan of her writing for so many years and honestly she can do no wrong! I find that even if the story isn't 100% fresh- Lori is able to hold my interest and I finish the book no matter what. I think that says something special about Lori as an author!

I couldn't help myself and read this one really early! But I know a Lori Foster book can always suck me in if I'm in a slump :)

This is another great book in the Body Armor series. Brand and Sahara are great characters that pull together when things go awry.

After her brother goes missing, Sahara Silver takes over the Body Armor Agency, with a little time and a lot of hard work she has managed to boost the business and little by little she has been able to add quite an elite group of men to the agency, all coming from the MMA world. Each man brings a special set of skills to the table, and all of them are good at what they do, but there is still one man missing from the team, Brand Berry, but he seems to want to play hard to get with the tough as nails leader. She has offered him a position with the team several times now, but he isn't so willing to walk away from the fighting world just yet, and she isn't so willing to take no for an answer, so she'll keep working on him and flirting with him, for the sake of business of course, to lure him in.

When her brother's past catches up to her, and Sahara Silver is kidnap by her brother's enemies, Brand Berry decides it's finally time to get involved with the Body Armor Agency... just not the way he wanted to. The mere thought of something happening to her unnerves him, he is determined to bring her home safely no matter the cost, and once he gets her back from her captors he isn't about to let them have a second chance at her, so he designates himself her personal bodyguard. And he takes his job very seriously, he is fully prepared to guard every single inch of her...

In this final installment in the Body Armor series you will get a deeper glimpse into the life of Sahara, the amazing heroine who runs the show, and Brand, the man who manages to steal her heart!! I loved my time with these two, their constant battles kept things steamy, and the suspenseful nature that finally pulls them together kept me flipping the pages!! It was so refreshing to read a story with a strong female heroine, one that was able to stand toe to toe with the alpha male characters in the story, and let them know just who was in charge... Sahara was a force to be reckoned with, Brand definitely had his hands full with her!! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, with each page you turn you will find many moments that melt your heart, make you swoon, and keep you teetering on the edge of your seat!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this title.

Brand is an MMA fighter who is undecided about retiring from fighting and becoming a body guard for the Body Armor agency. He likes the idea but also likes the owner, Sahara. She's the agency's owner who's looking for her missing brother. A kidnapping plot brings them together but will they stay together? Another great story in the Body Armor series.

This is the last in The Body Armor series and it’s my favorite. I’m not sure what it was about Brand and Sahara that I liked so well. Maybe it’s because even though Sahara comes across as tough and brash, she’s really a softie underneath when it comes to her employees and people that she loves. I liked that Brand is the type of man who doesn’t have a problem with a woman who can be tough and handle herself in a professional and/or dangerous situation but he definitely isn’t a wimp. He does like to be in charge and Sahara doesn’t seem to mind that during their personal and private moments. There was some danger, intrigue, and hot moments all throughout the book. It was nice to see how Miles, Justice, and Leese handled all of the precarious situations that they found their boss in. It, also, takes quite a skill to have a villain be likeable, which Ms. Foster does in this story. You don ‘t have to have read the previous Body Armor books to enjoy Fast Burn, but I would recommend them all.

I love Lori Foster's books and this conclusion to the Body Armor series is no exception. Great characters, great chemistry, and a plot twisty enough to turn you into a pretzel. What more can you ask for? Solid 3.5 read

This is the fourth book in Lori Fosters “Body Armor” series - here in “Fast Burn” we see a familiar hard as nails boss and owner of Body Armour, Sahara in a new light. Sahara is used to getting what she wants but the thing she currently wants most is for Brand, a current MMA fighter, to work for her. He on the other hand has a different idea, she can be the boss to her employees at work but he wants to be the boss everywhere else. While they are trying to figure everything out Sahara’s past (actually her missing brothers past) comes back to harm her.

Now Brand has to find a way to not only protect her from the people out to hurt her but to help her figure out what her “dead” brother has to do with everything. But he is not alone – he has some very familiar and loved characters there to help. Justice, Miles and Lessie would do anything for their boss and now friend Sahara. What ensues might just surprise you….

A definite read, you will not be disappointed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
