Undone is a quick read, but one I didn’t want to end. Now on to the story itself.

Annabelle has always done what she pleases. Leaves a job when things get good, does a relationship the same. I guess it’s a good way to avoid failure or heartache. But she finds herself working on the set of a play and runs into a very handsome man who happens to save from an accident. He’s mysterious, gorgeous and she can’t get him out her mind. For mystery man, it is the same, all he thinks about is her. And so, their story starts slowly and builds.

Annabelle was what I’d call a wanderer, she never stays in one place for too long. It’s how she raised, so I don’t blame her at all. It’s all she has known growing up, when ever her mother decided it was time, they packed up and were on their way somewhere new. Annabelle was a good spirited woman and i really wanted more for her. Beau was so opposite of Annabelle, but so perfect for her. He was pretty set in his ways, business oriented and kinda dominant. I wouLd expect him to be though given his success. He sees something in Annabelle though, and he can’t stay away. The side characters played their roles well, some just wanted to cause drama of course. But what’s a romance without a little drama….

I’m not one for insta-love majority of the time, but if it done well I can deal with it. These two have thus instant connection which I did feel and enjoyed. It wasn’t perfect by any means. They never tried to change the other, they just were. And watching their time together, the sensual moments and the little arguments they had. Even the big fights too, it was such a fun ride. The old saying, “opposites attact” certainly rang true in Annabelle and Beau’s story.

Undone is a great romance with wonderful characters and just enough steam. Fans of contemporary romances will enjoy this one for sure.

I received an advance copy of this book and I this is my honest review.

I am a big fan of Amelia's books and this was another good one. This is a Cinderella meets her Prince Charming story between two very different people. Annabel is a rolling stone who can't stay in one place or with one job for a long time. Beau is a billionaire property developer on the surface with a shady life going on underneath. I never did figure out what that was about! The two of them meet by accident on the sidewalk outside the theatre where he is putting on a production and where she is going to work as a costume seamstress. Immediately sparks fly between them.

The story is about two different personalities meeting in the middle to find love. Because of her love for Beau Annabel thinks about putting down roots. She also helps Beau escape from his closed in life by taking him on surprise drives where they can escape and just have fun together. Beau is unable to concentrate on work because all he can think about is Annabel and his business is suffering especially his secret contract work. Eventually their two different lifestyles clash and they split apart.

Finally they come back together for a happy ending and Annabel later meets her mother and lays to rest the feelings which have haunted her all her life.

I recommend this feel good story for anyone looking for a romantic read.

This was a nice and quick afternoon story. I thought Beau and Annabel weren’t over the top or annoying characters. Beau is a really goood guy that wanted the best for Annabel and her wanderlust soul. I’d say the only thing I would like to know more about is Beau. Other than that, I enjoyed the storyline and this is my first book by this author, I would absolutely check out her other books.

I really did enjoy this book. I know more people are going to love and enjoy this book too. It really does grab hold of you and makes you feel like your on the journey with the characters and not just reading it. That is something special right there and I want to say thank you to the author as it’s very hard to do that and she does it so amazingly that she deserves 5 stars all day long for this book. Definitely one to look out for in the future. Would wholeheartedly recommend this book and author.

Undone was one of those books which I have no idea what to do with. Sure I enjoyed it. Sure I flew through it. But did I love it? Gushed over it? Gave it a second thought after finishing it? Not really.

The story is told through two perspectives: Anabel’s and Beau’s. Anabel is a girl that never settles down; she is always running away from things, responsibilities and situations. Beau is the complete opposite. He is a rock; stable, strong and always there whenever you need him. He is the most responsible person you’ll ever find. So, when these two collide you can only imagine the attraction, cause opposites attract, right?

Even though I liked both characters, I didn’t particularly enjoy the way they were written. I felt like there was no depth to them, no substance. All there was to their character was their main characteristics: Anabel’s escapism and Beau’s sense of responsibility. I wanted them to be a little more fleshed out, I wanted to see more of them. The book being extremely short did not help either.

In fact this need for more detail is not limited to the characters. The whole of the story felt like it was sort of rushed. It had so much potential and unfortunately so many things were left unexplored.

Anyway, Undone is a very fast-paced, quick read, perfect for the summer holidays. I flew through it and read it in almost one sitting! And it’s one of the few books in which I liked the insta-love (!). I know, don’t ask me, I have no idea what happened to me, but it was not the least bit annoying or over the top. Ok maybe a little bit annoying and over the top because it is insta-love but you know what I mean.

If I were to come up with one line to describe this novel I’d say:

500 Days of Summer with a happily ever after!

I don't know how a wealthy business man and a seamstress with a gypsy mindset could ever have a stable relationship in the real word, but in this novel, the fantasy rocked.

Annabelle is a wanderer. It's not her fault. Her mother never stayed too long in one place and taught Annabelle to leave once she reaches "the sweet spot." So, Annabelle leaves jobs and relationships just before she thinks things might go downhill.

Beau is a focused, disciplined businessman. After saving Annabelle from being struck by a cyclist, he can't get her out of his mind. She clearly doesn't fit in his world, but he's drawn to her nonetheless.

What was unique about this story as opposed to other "millionaire/billionaire romances" I've read is the hero's acceptance of the heroine. He didn't try to change her style. Sure, he offered her a hotel suite when the ceiling in her apartment collapsed and he purchased extra clothes for her, but they were the same casual garments she enjoyed wearing. He didn't pressure her to wear designer dresses and stiletto heels. He didn't try to force her to fit in his glamorous, high-stakes world. All he wanted was for her to quit running and stay with him. While there was an instant physical attraction, Beau and Annabelle didn't jump into bed right away. Self-control is sexy! Just say NO to instalust!

Annabel Forester. She’s an irresistible disaster, as gorgeous as she is unpredictable. One day here, gone the next. I can’t trust her. I certainly can’t be with her. Getting caught with Annabel by my side will put my business on the line.Beau is almost obsessed with Annabel, definitely distracted by her. She is not the kind of person to settle down. She gives him a chance luckily, if only their busy lives could take a back seat then everything would be perfect. The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book is one day.Amelia is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work.

Once I started, I simply could not put this down.
I have never read anything by this author before, but I sure will be hunting down the rest of her books. The main characters were a breath of fresh air.
Well-written and well-paced and never a dull moment.
I highly recommend picking up this read.

Undone by Amelia Wilde a sublime four-star read. This was total case of judging a book by its cover, and I am so glad I did, it intrigued me and looked like it was worth a chance and it was a very real opportunity. This story was great, there is so much up and down and when I picked it up I struggled to put it down. Beau as a character was someone that made me wonder, he was such a strong man and yet he did something strong men don’t do. I don’t want to tell you the story as it’s so much more powerful than the blurb shows. Annabel as a character is someone who you can see develop from page one to the last, she blossoms as the pages turn and becomes a character that’s so much stronger than she or I imagine. Well done Amelia Wilde on a story well told.

To be honest I didn’t know what to expect from this book, but the description and cover pulled me in.
And I couldn’t stop reading! Read it within a day and have to say it was a great read!

Annabel and Beau: love at first site, struggle with time, work, and flight risk. They were falling fast and hard!
Some things were a bit out of this world and didn’t quite make sense, but that might be to bring in the other guys.
Will read other books by this author!

Thanks NetGalley for the free copy of this book :-)

This was a fun read! It's a short sweet romance where on one hand you have Beau who is rich, handsome and very cautious. On the other hand you have Annabel who speaks her mind, is always on the go and is not afraid to jump into whatever situation she desires. The two made some very interesting conversation to read and their personality clashed at some point which made this quite the fun companion.
I'd say it's your typical romance story, save for the adventurous nature of Annabel. Thank you NetGalley for the read, it sure did make my evening.

A cute love at first sight read. I love Annabel's free spirit. She isn't afraid to just let go and go with the flow. The changes she has with Beau are amazing. I love the connection between them. Undone is an amazing quick read. I didn't want to put this one down. It drew me in from the start. Amelia Wilde did a wonderful job with this one.
