I did enjoy this one but the author introduced too many issues for the couple to deal with. Brooke left her marriage behind and the secret was pretty heavy enough to deal with. The family drama and the other mystery was interesting but almost turned the book into romantic suspense story. Too much packed in the small book left some of the plotholes open.

I still like the family dynamic and would continue on with the series.

Read this review and LOVED it, especially the undercurrent of drama and intrigue that accompanied the love story. It made it deeper and more interesting than the standard romance. Excellent read, and it was a good holiday break read too!
