I really enjoyed this book. I read it in one sitting, I couldn't look away. I enjoyed the pace of the relationship. The romantic elements left me wanting more.

The runaway bride hits the jackpot! A really fun take on finding love when you least expect it. I didn't quite connect with Riccardo quite as much as I did his cousin Mitch in the first book, but I did grow to like him as the story went on. It was fun to see some of the family from previously in the series again as well. Good characters and a satisfying plot!

Heiress Morgan Monroe has lived her life making the fewest amount of waves as possible. She loves her controlling father, and typically doesn't mind doing things the way he prefers, but this time ... she has to do it her way! She's on the verge of marrying a man she doesn't even care to spend her life with because it's her father's wish ... but this good girl just went rogue and became a runaway bride!

Riccardo Ochoa doesn't even know Morgan, but her father is one of the biggest customers for his cousin's business, and there's no way he can let that relationship fall apart while Mitch is away on his honeymoon! So he has to chase after a spoiled debutante and take her home to daddy ... it's not the end of the world ... but when he sets eyes on her and starts to see that she's not the airhead he was expecting, he's not so sure he's willing to strong-arm her back under daddy's thumb!

Nope. Just did not like. For me, when a H is hung up on an ex, it goes downhill from there. I hate triangles and I hate OW/OM drama which is why it didn't work for me. DNF.

This is a sweet story about a runaway bride and the man sent to bring her back home to her father to face the music and consequences of her flight. While Morgan is an endearing character and Riccardo is kind and honorable, the story didn't quite work for me. Morgan was cute and curious, out to find herself and discover if she can stand on her own feet. She's had a very dominating father her entire life and she needs to learn some strategies to find herself. Of course, she's a constant flight risk and that wore me down. At every turn, she was thinking of running away from Riccardo even when he was doing his best to give her the time she needed to find herself and figure out what to do about dealing with her father. By the time she planned to run away for the third or fourth time, I was at the end of my patience. It was unkind and ungrateful of her to take Riccardo and his family's kindness and generosity towards her to plan on deceiving them, and running away again. While reading this story, I was introduced to Mitch and Lila, Riccardo's cousin and business partner. I think I'd like to look up Mitch's book and give it a shot because I do like Ms Meier's writing.
