Twisted by Helen Hardt is a good fit for readers looking for a suspenseful and emotionally intense romance with a dark edge.

Twisted by Helen Hardt was just that twisted! I loved Ruby & Ryan’s story! What a great addition to the Steel Brothers Saga.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

I have been reading this series from books one!
* NOTE: You CANNOT read this book as a standalone….

I love the plot that all of these books have. Each book focuses on a different Steel brother and their other half. BUT, don’t get their love story confused for the overall story here. Helen Hardt has brilliantly made a story so full of twisty details that you need to pay attention. If you don’t it will come and bit you in the ass later! But even if you are paying attention to the details, her story telling with the Steel Brothers will bit you in the ass!!

Helen Hardt has to be one of the more brilliant authors out there right now. I can only imagine what her office wall looks like when plotting out this series. I want to see it so that I know the end!!! But, I don’t because I want to be taken on the journey.

I can’t give away anything with this series. It simply has to be experienced! She continues to add more books to this series, and I continue to devour them!! Please Helen, please don’t stop!! (Or secretly tell me the ending… Shhh… I won’t tell anyone.)

Stop what you are reading and start reading the Steel Brothers series!! You will thank me!

Another first read for me with this book by Helen Hardt. Now I am hooked and need to check out the rest of the series! Very glad to have this intro into the world of Steele!

Ryan Steel has just found out a huge secret. It's caused him to run off in his beloved Porsche so he can think (and rant and rave in his mind) and his Porsche ends up in not such great condition. Thank God Ryan isn't killed during his freak-out. But now he's back and looking for more answers about his family, about the woman he loves. Can he trust her any longer? Can he tell her how he feels about her?

Ruby's having family issues, too, though, thanks to her evil father. He makes a lot of appearances in Twisted, answers some questions that have been raised, and proposes even more that will hopefully be answered in the next book.

There are more revelations, but honestly, not a whole lot happens in this installment of the Steel family journey. That's why the 3 instead of 4 stars. It's still well-written, though, and Ryan and Ruby are still a pretty great couple. Twisted is kind of short, though, and Ruby and Ryan aren't together enough in it to satisfy me. Of course there's yet another cliffhanger, but I've looked ahead and found out that the next book in their journey is their last book. Not sure if it's the last in the series, but it is the last in Ryan and Ruby's story.

Helen Hardt's writing is way above par!! You literally will be hooked on this series from Craving (Steel Brothers #1). Don't miss it!

This series just keeps getting more and more exciting. Twisted takes it to the next level. Ruby and Ryan continue to figure out the mystery surrounding their parents but with all of the twists and turns this story takes it's not an easy feat. I love this series, but if you have a weak stomach I probably wouldn't suggest it.

I wasn't a massive fan of this. I think that the series could be condensed so you don't get bored with the characters or plot, or begin to predict actions. Twists are a bit predictable. Steamy but a pass.

I wasn't a massive fan of this one, I think that this series is very drawn out. instead of being a trilogy, the series has just become to long and I didn't care for the characters as when I did when I read book 1.

Just too many books to read to get closure to this series.

Two souls that belonged to each other but secrets kept them apart. Tragic pasts and mysteries that needed to be solved could push them closer together or further apart. Opening your heart and drawing Ruby closer Ryan would finally feel at peace.

And the secrets keep getting revealed! Ryan is shaken after learning what his brothers and sister have been up to. Most of all, he is deeply hurt that Ruby did not confide in him. His world is shaken to the root and he does not know what to do next.

Ruby loves him so much. The thought that Ryan might be lost to her is unbearable. This case is just getting more complicated and let's not forget that her father is at the center of it all. What would Ruby do in order to protect the Steele's from her father? She is still hot on his trail and will not stop until she finds him.

Cannot tell you more just know this book is just as great as the others. This is a very complex mystery and the secrets have not all been revealed yet. After finishing Twisted I can only hope the next installment will be coming soon because it ends on a BIG cliffhanger!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thank you to the author for sharing a copy with me.

Helen Hardt has once again written an amazing story with two characters that have such a strong connection and chemistry that is off the charts. I loved this story and found it as another great addition to the Steel Brothers series and I cannot wait to read the next story in the series.

I enjoyed reading Twisted although I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous books in this series it was just a little slow for me but it is still worth a read.If you have not read the previous books then you do need to read them first.

Twisted continues the story of the Steel brothers with Ryan Steel.

Ryan is uncovering more secrets through this book that make him question who he can and cannot trust. I believe Helen did a wonderful job in titling this book. It's not twisted in ways that you think but everything that you thought you knew will be twisted in some way through this book.

After finding out about his parentage and the fact that not only did his siblings help to prove it (or in their case hope it wasn't true) but so did the woman he is seeing Ruby. Will he be able to forgive them for their part in all of it?

Ruby.. She's strong, independent, and a great cop. But when she's with Ryan everything else fades away and it scares her. But will Ryan ever be able to trust her again to be able to see if they could be more?

This book (like the others) will have your heart pounding. Helen once again delivers a well crafted brilliant read that you won't be able to put down.

A true suspenseful read I couldn't put down. Book 8 in the Steel Brothers series and the 2nd in the Ryan and Ruby trilogy.
Issues of trust plague Ryan and Ruby's relationship. As the issue is addressed realization to the reason of for doing things is established. Lots of twists and turns in this story as Ryan finds out more of his parentage and Ruby sees her criminal father in a different light
Ends in a cliffhanger can't wait for Unravelled

Helen has answered all my burning questions and then some with this book. I couldn't put it down. Everything has come full circle since the first one.

It seems like every other book in this series, seems like a wasted book. That is how this book felt to me. I felt like this one was written is a haste and didn't get the time it deserved. There have been so many books in this series so far that I'm kind of getting tired of it. But then you tough it out and the book gets better and you get wrapped up in it again and then BOOM HUGE CLIFF HANGER! then you have to wait, and the waiting builds anticipation, and you're scared you're going to be let down, and then you get the next book and guess what..You're not because it's awesome! This book has a lot going on, you are still learning about Talon, which can make the book better or worse, depends on how you feel about him. But I will say I think this book could have been written in fewer books because I do feel like there was a lot of fluff, but what do I know, I can't write a book to save my life!:-) I'll make the same recommendation for this book as I make for almost all series, Don't stop, keep reading. When you're reading a book you have to realize that the author knows more about what is going to happen then you do. So give it time!
