Has always Helen Hardt will having you going what did I just read. As you follow the story the twist and turns happen anytime you think you figured out what will happen next. By the way you are never right. The romance is there as we follow Ruby and Ryan.

Oh. We are so close to the mystery being over. That was the worst cliffhanger ever! This book is full of mystery, family, angst, steamy sex, and a love story. Can’t wait for the last book!

This is the 2nd book of 3 in the Ryan and Ruby Series. This book picks right up where Shattered ended! Hold on tight for the twist and turns that this book has. The author does not disappoint with this new book in the Saga. Thus book hits all the feelers, it's angsty, suspenseful, swoon, sexy, & sweet. I love how the author has continually developed each characters & the story with each new book! I'm excited and can't wait to get the final book in the saga in February but at the same time I'm truly sad to see the Steel Brothers story come to an end! This is the 8th book in the series and didn't disappoint.
I love this series, I'm tempted to start from book one and just binge them all.

Helen has brought us more of the wonderful sexy Steele Brothers again. The queen of Cliffhanger definitely had us hanging at the end of Shattered the 7 book of the series and when Twisted opens she brings us right back to that çliff. (Both figuratively and physically.) Ryan has to face new secrets and truth about his life. The hardest truth have the biggest Twist and Helen sure does that in this book. The heat and trust Ruby gives Ryan makes her more stronger than any female character I've ever seen or read in fiction. Coming from a past and a monster of a father she's a hardshell but around Ryan she let's down her guard.
Helen brings the heat, suspense, secrets, and love in this book.... I hate to see this series come to a end. And wait for the end of this book, Helen definitely lives up to the nickname Cliffhanger Queen.

The eighth book in the Steele Brothers series is an emotionally charged and raw read. It is not a standalone and must be read in order. This book picks up where the last one leaves off and has Ryan and Ruby seeking out the answers to their questions while strengthening their relationship. The good news is that some of the questions are answered but the question remains as to whether the answers are truthful. How much more can these two take or should they stop what they are doing? How will Ruby’s father factor into the equation? How far will Ryan go to appease his “mother” to get the answers he needs? Once you pick this book up you will not put it down. It does end in a cliffhanger and leaves you wanting more. If you have not started reading this series then I highly recommend you do.

This is the eighth book to this epic series of the Steele Brothers. You have to read them all in order or you will be totally lost. The order is Craving, Obsession, Possession, Melt, Burn, Surrender, Shattered, and now Twisted. This book continues Ryan and Ruby’s journey. It starts from where Shattered ended. I have read this whole series from the beginning and this author always leave me speechless. This book kept me glued to my Kindle all hours of the night. It only took me a few hours to devour this book.

Ryan Steele has been lied to by his siblings and the woman he trusted with his heart. He doesn’t know who to trust now. Ryan is trying to clear his head after his life was shattered by the ones he loves. He is taking a drive when he gets a phone call that changes everything he thought he knew about his family. Ryan and his brothers are starting to put the puzzle together but they are still missing pieces. They only have one more guy to catch and bring to justice for their little brother Talon. The problem is he is going to be the hardest to catch. Ryan is realizing that he really has true feelings for Ruby but does she feel the same way? Will Ryan find out the truth or is his life more twisted than he thought it was?

This talented author has done it again. She has made another masterpiece. This book will have you on your toes the whole entire time. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and mystery. You will fall in love with Ryan and Ruby all over again. They are both two broken souls trying to heal each other but their is always something trying to hold them back. These characters have some pretty steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. I love that this amazing author wrote this book in both of the characters points of views. This gives you more of a personal connection with these characters. This book will leave your mind twisted. This family is so close to finding out the truth and I can’t wait to read how this series will end. I’m already counting down the days for Unraveled.

How could you not give this 5 stars. The Steel Brothers are all so strong and so much happens to all of them. Since the very first book, they have been trying to discover the secrets of Talon's kidnapping. This story is another one about Ryan, the youngest of the brothers. He is in love with Ruby (a detective) and both of their families have secrets they are uncovering. To really understand all the twists and turns of this series, it helps to read them from the beginning. There is lots of intrigue, hot sex and HEA's. The characters are all very well developed and interesting. I got a couple from Netgalley and bought the rest because I couldn't resist knowing what happens.

I have loved the Steel Brothers Saga from the beginning and I wanted to 10 star love this continuation of Ryan's story.

While I loved the mystery and how things are really starting to come together as we begin to get to the conclusion of the story, Ryan's actions in this story left me wanting to slap him and say "Snap out of it" through most of the book. I know that unless you go through what he is going through, it is hard to judge his actions. I understand him mistrusting Ruby and his siblings for going behind his back...I understand this completely. What I don't understand is feelings about the secret that was revealed. It is hard to say why I was angry with Ryan without throwing a spoiler or two but I felt he was particularly hard on his siblings who had absolutely nothing to do with that secret. Blame the actors (parents) but your siblings who have been there your whole life and have shown you nothing but love and support should not have to pay for those actions perpetrated by the parents.

He comes around in the end which made me happy because Ryan was fast becoming my favorite Steel. I love Ruby and how she is coming into her own, with Ryan, with her own hidden sexuality and with her past.

OMG, this story is full of so many intense and mind blowing moments. The chemistry between Ryan and Ruby is so good. Its sexy, sizzling and steamy. And in this book, a lot of questions do get answered BUT just when I thought everything was going to be wrapped up, another Pandora box is opened up and another box of questions gets opened. Here go the twists and turns again. And it’s the roller coaster of moments , of ups and downs, of spine tingling moments all over. I was on the edge of my couch, at times wanting to throw my kindle because I needed answers and I needed them fast and I could tell the answers may not come in this book but I will say some answers are given and we are left with an epic cliffhanger.
This is another fantastic story in the Steel Saga. The Steel men are very alpha and the women in their lives are sassy and strong. The men are trying to find out the mysteries that surround their family and this starts off with the first three books which we got Talon’s story and we met his lady love Jade and It is also in these books where the plot is being set up for the rest of the books. Books 4-6 move to a new brother, Jonah and his love interest, Dr. Melanie Carmichael. In these books we see the brothers are still on the hunt to find out how a kidnapping took place and the logistics behind that. In the final three books, we have had a closer look at Ryan and his lady love Ruby. Ryan has something traumatic happen to him in this book and it shapes the way things will happen between him and his brothers and him and Ruby. I do not want to give any spoilers so all I will say is, I cannot wait until the 9th and final book which is coming next year.

Twisted by Helen Hardt is book Eight in the Steel Brothers Saga. This continues the story of Ryan Steel and Ruby Lee so I would highly recommend reading the previous book 'Shattered'.
Ryan is trying to deal with all the secrets that have been kept from him...along with who Ruby's father is. Ryan and his brother has been looking into the long ago kidnapping of their brother which has unveiled a lot of upsetting surprises. This book deals with finding out more of what happened and looking to heal the wounds that it has opened. Their story doesn't end with this book so we will get to seem more of it going forward.
Overall their story has been pretty exciting and emotional and I look forward to reading more of it!

Ryan Steel is devastated to find that he has a different mother than his brothers. A mother who is certifiably crazy and, downright psychotic! Ruby Lee is a local detective who has been trying to catch and, finally jail her psychotic father. The heat between these two is intense. Consequently, Ryan is very protective of Ruby, much to her dismay! These two have had extremely difficult childhoods that they are still trying to get past while also trying to solve the very convoluted cases that are twisted together in this story. A story you don't want to put down.

DNF and I would like to pass on writing review for major retailers. I always feel like that sways readers and I would like readers to be able to come to their own conclusion about this book.

Twisted is the continuation of Ryan and Ruby's story. You will at-least want to start with Shattered since that is the beginning of their story, however, it is not the beginning of the overall plot. Therefor you might want to start at the very beginning in book 1.

This book did uncover some new information as these characters try to unravel more information. However, the majority of this book was Ryan dealing with the fact that Wendy is his mom and not Daphne. He is not dealing well with having a sociopath for a mother and learning that his brothers are only half brothers. Throw in his new relationship with Ruby and he is understandably having a hard time adjusting.

I felt that Ruby's character really grew in this book. She's coming into her own and I really like her with Ryan. I'm so curious how things end up with her father. Is she going to be the one to take him down? I'm looking forward to the next book! ARC provided by Netgalley.

This book was filled with suspense that had me devouring chapters late into the night, because I couldn't wait to find out what happens next.
Unfortunately I will have to wait, to get a conclusion in the much anticipated Unraveled. I love Helen Hardt and the Steel Brothers Saga has been a joy to read. The bond between the brothers is incredible. Ryan and Ruby's love story is inspiring.
Cannot wait for this awesome story to finally reach its intriguing conclusion.

I’m not even sure what I want to say, as usual, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. It seems that you think the saga is going one way and THEN zoom, Ms Hardt sends you on another path. The hits just keep coming and from different directions. I think that Ryan and Ruby are my favorite Steel couple, even though there’s a lot to like about Talon and Jade and Jonah and Melanie. I haven’t decided if it would be better to wait until the whole series is done and then read it or in installments. The problem is that I can’t wait that long. If you haven’t started this series, I would definitely recommend reading it and then you’ll be caught up.
