I received an ARC from NetGalley to read and review. The below is my honest, unbiased opinion. Thank you, Helen Hardt, the publisher, and NetGalley, for allowing me to review.
Ryan Steel, his world recently upended by an earth-shattering secret, now faces yet another potential revelation surrounding the Steel family mystery. He no longer fully trusts his siblings or the woman he loves. He’s alone—alone and terrified and immersed in a conundrum that becomes more twisted each day.
Ruby Lee loves Ryan and desperately wants to help him. She’ll do whatever she must to see him through this troubling time, but her own shrouded past still haunts her, and she’s determined to put an end to both of their mysteries once and for all. But the more she uncovers, the more danger she’s in…and she may lose Ryan forever.
TWISTED is the eighth book in the STEEL BROTHERS SAGA, and this series MUST BE READ IN ORDER. Each book ends on a cliffhanger, but that doesn't bother me. The writing is captivating, the mystery surrounding the Steel brothers is thrilling (and constantly, slowly unraveling), and the romance is smokin' hot. Be forewarned: this is an erotic read. But if you can handle the heat, you most definitely need to be reading this series. It is such a fantastic romance read!

Once again Helen Hardt did not disappoint. From the opening pages the reader is hooked into the fantastic storyline of Ryan, Jonah and Talon Steel and the tangled web of lies, corruption, bloodlines and deceit. Each book gets better and better. I am going to be very sad to see the series end but at the same time cannot wait for the ending so some questions can be answered.

Twisted, perfect title for this book. Ryan an Ruby are a force to be reckoned with. They have an explosive sexual relationship. Ryan finds out his father is alive, his mother, Wendy Madigen is the mastermind behind the abduction and rape of his older brother, Talon. Ruby is the daughter of, Theodore Mathis, one of the biggest human trafficking, rapist and murders she knows. This book leaves you biting your nails. Helen Hardt, is a writing genius.

I read this book as an ARC on Netgalley.
Twisted is Book 8 in the Steel Saga. One would think that it would not keep your interest being the 8th installment in this series. Not true, there are so many twists and turns in this book, you find yourself wanting to get to the next chapter as fast as possible. The story continues with the story of Ryan and Ruby both having to deal with parents that have screwed up their lives emotionally.
We go on Ryan and Ruby's journey both totally in love with each other but because of their emotional baggage they each share, it is difficult to commit to each other fully. Helen is a master with her writing of this installment. Just when you think you have figured everything out, Helen throws in a monkey wrench, and you are back at square one.
This is a cliffhanger, as are all these books. I felt so many emotions when I came to the end of this one. Desperately wanting to find out how everything ends but also knowing this is the last story. I have fully invested in this series emotionally, so I can't wait for the Book 9 to come, but also so very sad that this will be the end of the series and I will not experience the Steel Brothers again.

I'll be honest, I really wanted this series to wrap up the mystery about 3 books ago so I took a break. And now I binge read #6-8 and am glad I waited. That wait was just enough to get me excited about the books again- and they didn't let me down. All of the books have had a good mix of mystery and romance without going over the top on either one- this one did feel a little repetitive on some of their bedroom behaviors, but you can skim over that and not miss anything important. This one again leaves you with a cliffhanger, that felt more like the first book- you wanted to keep reading right then and not wait!

Ruby and Ryan are truly lost in each other. And... the disaster of what their lives were and still are; because of their parents. The saga continues with Twisted by Helen Hardt. This is Book 8 in the series and needs to be read in order. But don't worry you can read the others in a week to catch up.
Ryan continues his search for the truth and justice his family deserves after his brothers abduction as a child. Through his search, he falls in love with Ruby; who has her own demons to chase. Together they unravel and begin to piece together the missing link in what happened to Talon years ago.
This book is steamy, has moments of suspense, and is totally an addictive read. Praise for Helen in keeping the series interesting, engaging and addictive. Bring on Book 9

Wow! Talk about twisted!!! The information revealed is all over the place and once you have some semblance of who or what happened it is soooo not what you thought. I have been reading since the first book of this series and I am one of those people who can figure out "who done it" before the book ends or half way through a book. Let's just say I am all messed up and frustrated. Lol!! I think that is what the author intends to do. Great read. Strong characters who stay true to who they are. Is Bradley Steel alive? Ryan and Ruby are meant to be. I can't wait till the next book Unraveled is out. I want to get to the bottom of all these twists and turns!!!
I received this ARC from the author/publisher via Net Galley for my honest review. Thank you Net galley!!!

Twisted- the perfect name for the way this book made me feel. I am all twisted up inside. The answers this family gets to all their inquiries are twisted. The list of people who they can trust, who the ultimate bad guy is, the meaning up everything? All Twisted.
This ends on another cliffy, which means the story continues. Though this book focused mostly on Ryan and Ruby, I could see the next book shifting more towards all the couples? I could be wrong though. I feel like we are so close to the end of all this but still left with so much to figure out. It's driving me CRAZY! Like, the love stories alone are good and interesting all by themselves. But the arcing storyline? She feeds us tiny pieces and makes us wait. It's just a cruel torture, I tell you. I am invested now.
So in short, I loved it. These are not stand alones. You have to read them in order. And I highly recommend you do.
