I have heard about Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth's books for a while and never got my hands on them. Finding this study guide was heaven sent. Having never read the book, I found this study to be an eye opener for myself. It also spurred me on to getting the actual book as well. Though this book is thin in save compared to other studies it's packed with 150 pages godly jewels. This study goes through 11 chapters and divides into five days per chapter allowing you to focus on specific truth or topic. I will say, having never read the actual book, you will want to own a copy as this study focuses half on the book and half on biblical text. Not having the book is not a major downfall, but it's more effective to have the book. I love how simplified this study guide is. The study is great for personal use, group or even can be used as a women's study for church use. I have only made it half-way through the study, but I can't wait to finish it. It's such a blessing!

Some women beat themselves up over anything and everything. This book educates women on how the enemy twists truth and uses it to degrade & shame. The author also teaches how to discern truth. We need to know the Word of God and fight those lies.

I didn’t care for Eve’s fictionalized diary, that was a big turn off as well as the wifely and parenting advice, DeMoss is neither so I suggest you glean what you can and toss the rest.

I found that I definitely need a copy, which I have, of the book Lies Women Believe to go along with this study guide because she refers to it often. This study guide takes the book one step further in the way of studying the lies in our lives that can trip us up as we go along. It slows us down and gives us time to reflect on her thoughts about the lies we are believing in. It is set-up to be done with a group or with some friends but can be done alone. It is planned to take 10 weeks and is set up by days. In the days, she directs you to Scripture and asks you questions for further observation and reflection in your own life.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book has been a well-loved classic Bible study for women for many years. With this fresh update, the author has addressed current problems that women face in today’s society. The format works well to guide readers through the study.

I highly recommend this book for personal and group Bible study. It can make a great impact in your life.
