Got this in exchange for an honest review from Netgalley!

4.5. I really enjoyed this book from the start, where U-God talks about his upbringing and hustling in the streets. Once the story gets to be more about his experiences with Wu-Tang, it gets even better. Equal parts hilarious (the acid experience and your stories were my favorites) and devastating (his son and the demise of the Wu), a fantastic look into the life of one of the lesser known members of the Clan. Definitely give this book a read if you haven’t yet!

Being a person who listened to the Wu-Tang Clan, this was a book I wanted to read. And I am glad I did. Well written history on not only the author but the group. To me, it read like he was totally honest and did not try to sugar coat anything. That was much appreciated. I suggest you take a journey with the author, You will be glad you did. You will learn something. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of the book in return for my honest review.
