Cassie, Paige and Marissa make a pact to marry the next guy they date. They've been on the dating scene for 10 years and Mr. Right is no where to be found. Cassie is the first to meet someone and she researches Parker Hamilton thoroughly before agreeing to a date him. On paper, he looks perfect - charming, cultured and a doctor. Things are progressing nicely until Cassie's annoying colleague Will Jordan takes an interest in her love life and is competing with her for the same promotion. Cassie, Paige and Marissa discuss all happenings and plans over cake and lattes at the Cozy Cottage Cafe. Cassie tries to navigate the relationship with Parker into a happy ever after, while discovering that Will is much nicer and attractive than she thought he was. Cassie is tested in hilarious ways as she works her way to happily ever after

One Last First Date by Kate O'Keeffe is the first book in the Cozy Cottage Cafe series.

Cassie Dunhill and her friends continue to fail at relationships, and so they agree to marry the next man they date. What could go wrong with that agreement?

This is a light, fun read for when you don’t want to think too hard. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between Cassie and her girlfriends. This book had me laughing and enjoying watching Cassie’s escapades.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is a fun read about friendships, finding “the One”, awkward dates and falling in love. Can’t wait to read book 2 in this series!!

It was lacking excitement and drama and a connection to the characters. I stopped reading at chapter 6, it was just hard to keep pushing forward when you have co-workers who are bragging or get the call in the middle of the night to move into the boss role. Who makes a pact like this - it is so awful that the next date you go on is the person you're going to marry, what if he doesn't like the girl or there is no chemistry. Thought this would be a bit different of an angle to this story.

One Last First Date by Kate O'Keeffe is the 1st book in the Cozy Cottage Cafe series, and a really fun book. Three friends are sick of dating the wrong man and make a pact to marry the next guy they date. This book contains Cassie Dunhill's story. Does her research plan go smoothly and is it really that easy? If you enjoy fun romances, I recommend this book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, Two Last First Dates.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Cassie and her friends are fed up with the continual rounds of meaningless dates and decide that the next people they date are going to be their Mr Rights, marriage and the full works. Cassie is the first to find someone and Parker is a doctor and perfect for her in every possible way ...........so what can possibly go wrong...... try throwing Will into the mix!

A good light hearted fun read, predictable but worth reading I liked the characters, especially Will, and the easy style of writing

Thankyou so much I was invited to read this book! I definitely loved this book! i just finished it within 24 hours. I couldnt let mysrlf stop reading last night, It is fast paced, funny and romantic at the same time. We follow Cassie who has two best friends and make a pact, which says to marry the man they're going to date on first hand. Well, Cassie finds a guy she dates and believes she is going to marry this guy. Beyond her imaginations, something is struck with fate. I really like how the writer has put two and two together. She writes it so fluently. She definitely put friendship as well in this book, which makes it more realistic but with a romantic touch. I do love to just "cuddle" the book, because Inlove the ending. Although, I would have liked to read on and learn more about the further life of Cassie.

One Last First Date is a fun, feel good romance. It is rare that I like the hero better than the heroine but it happened in this book. It took me a bit to warm up to Cassie but I was enjoying the interaction between her and Will from the start. If you want a story that will leave you with a smile on your face read One Last First Date.

Cute romantic comedy and a quick read. Enjoyed reading about the friendship between Cassie, Paige, Marissa and Bailey. Bit annoyed that the author mentions The Twilight Zone and Forrest Whittaker instead of Rod Serling, made me feel old! Well that plus lead characters who prefer Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga haha.

Even at my old lady age I found this a fun and enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more in the series.
