Not my favorite from this author. There is more sadness and angst than I really enjoy reading. The writing was good, the setting & characters believable, just not the kind of book I was in the mood to read. I really was pulling for the main characters-and the side characters as well, but they just kept losing over and over again. It made my heart hurt for them.
