The Billionaire's Forever Family is a sweet, although sort of forced, romance.

When Cassie Frost finally reached out to who she had thought was the biological father of her niece, Emily, she wasn't expecting that she'd fall in love with the man. Cassie has given up her hopes and dreams to raise her sister's daughter, but only because she wanted to, because she loves Emily that much. But, she also doesn't want to keep Emily from possibly knowing her own father. Unfortunately, Cassie's first impression of billionaire Will Connelly is less than favorable, as he sends his lawyers down to her diner rather than deal with the situation himself. Fortunately, he later redeems himself and shows his true colors as a good man with an open heart.

While I generally liked The Billionaire's Forever Family, I did feel as if the chemistry between Will and Cassie was a bit forced at times. Their relationship didn't seem to develop naturally and organically, so I had a hard time becoming invested in them as a couple. As individuals, I liked them. Cassie is sweet and absolutely adores Emily, and Will is a good man, not the cold man he first appeared to be. It's just that as a couple, they weren't so great. Aside from that, their story is OK. It's good for a few hours of escape from your day, if nothing else.

Cassie Frost never imagined getting in contact with the biological father of her niece would turn into her being faced with the man's lawyers. But when it becomes clear that Will Connelly wants to get to know his daughter, it seems Cassie has a fight on her hands. Yet, with a struggling diner and hardly any money, Cassie knows it's going to be hard to win against a man that has more money than he knows what to do with. Will Cassie walk away from the only family she has left, or will Will be able to convince her that she wants him in her life forever?

What a delightful and captivating read Ms. Cameron has delivered in this book where emotions run high, as the heroine believes she could lose her niece from her life; the main characters are total opposites with the hero having money and the heroine struggling to stay afloat, which is why she needs the hero's help when it comes to providing for her niece who happens to be his daughter; and the dialogue was compelling, as the heroine does her best to keep things platonic with the hero for fear of messing things up for her niece while the hero does everything to get to know her better. Will the hero win the heroine over?

As for the way this story started, it had me sympathizing with the heroine because of what the hero does that gets Cassie's defenses up once he finally decides to honor her with his presence. Will the hero be able to make things right after his initial error in judgment with the heroine? Moreover, both the main characters are fascinating, likeable and I loved the interactions between them, as the hero is determined to get to know Cassie and his daughter better; is ruthless when it comes to getting what he wants; and I liked that he would do everything in his power to prove to Cassie that they don't have to go their separate ways. Doesn't she realize that he wants her in his life just as much as he wants his daughter in his life? While the heroine, she's loyal, hard-working and I liked how she would do anything for her niece, even if it means having to walk away from the only member of her family that she has left. I also liked that she was willing to give the hero a chance, despite what he does in the beginning that makes him seem ruthless and makes Cassie feel unworthy of his time.

Overall, Ms. Cameron has delivered a fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was intense; the romance shows how good these two are for each other; and the ending had me enjoying the lengths the hero was willing to go to in order to have Cassie in his life. Besides, change is good, especially when you have the best things in life such as love, family and happiness. I would recommend The Billionaire's Forever Family by Cate Cameron, if you enjoy the enemy to lovers trope or books by authors Kira Archer, Miranda Liasson, Regina Kyle and Victoria Davies.

This book started out good. The only thing that bothered me a bit, was that Will was almost immediately smitten with Cassidy and changed himself within the first week of meeting his daughter Emily and Cassidy. Not what I think would happen in a situation like this.
Also Cassidy was always hungry for more Will, but afterwards shoved him away and didn’t want to get involved anymore. But that happened a few times to many and Will should have approached her differently. Emily was a sweet 13 year old.
All in all an enjoyable read!

The Billionaire’s Forever Family features one of my favorite romance tropes – care-giver of an orphaned relative struggles to raise the child, and then has to fend off a custody battle. Cassie Frost has been raising her niece Emily since she was born. Her sister, a free-spirit, and that’s being kind, because deep down she was selfish and cared more for herself than for her own daughter, thought Cassidy would bail her out of every stupid decision she made, has recently passed away from a sudden illness. Thinking that Emily needs a male role-model in her life, Cassie reaches out to Will Connelly, suspecting that he might be Emily’s father. What she doesn’t expect is a threat to her guardianship and having her whole life thrown in an uproar.

Cassidy is struggling to provide a quality life for her 13 year old niece Emily, but with overwhelming medical bills from her sister’s illness, house repairs, and keeping her diner running, she’s on her last legs. When Will strides into her life, angry at being locked out of Emily’s life, she’s fearful of attorney bills she can’t ever afford to pay. Will turns out to be not so unreasonable, however, and he promises to let Emily live where she wants, and to do what’s best for his daughter. He even pays off the medical bills without Cassidy’s knowledge, which infuriates her. She doesn’t want to be seen as the poor relation, and the wealth inequity between her and Will terrifies her. When Will convinces Emily to go to a private school in New York City, she is fearful of losing her niece forever.

While I enjoyed this very much, I quickly became irritated with Cassidy. She wants to keep her growing attraction with Will a secret, and she refuses to even consider that they might have a HEA waiting for them. She constantly blames him for his wealth, thinking that he will become embarrassed by her hick ways. She’s afraid of being rejected by his sophisticated friends. I just wanted to shake her and tell her to get over herself. She finally finds a decent guy, who cares for both her and her niece, and she just keeps finding ways to sabotage their relationship. It was like, come on, girl, have a little bit of faith in yourself and stop putting up barriers when they don’t need to be.

The ending was satisfying and resolved all of Cassidy’s fears and doubts in a believable way. I hope Will’s friend, Trevor, gets his own story, because I would love to learn more about him.

Grade: 3.75 stars

I actually like most romance tropes. This book is billionaire meets ordinary girl + secret baby. This is a romance between a woman who gave up her own dreams to raise her sister's child and the father of that child, who suddenly finds out he has a thirteen year-old daughter.

I think what surprised me the most about this book was that it had a surprising amount of discussion of class differences and a heroine who actually questioned the whole "rich guy comes and takes care of all my problems" fantasy as one that undermines women's sense of independence and self-worth. I think maybe category romance has come a long way since I read a few back in my teenage years. Before there was much YA.

The ending got a little melodramatic (for me) but all in all, this was a pretty entertaining read. I'd love to read Trevor's story, though as a lawyer I don't think he makes the cut as billionaire... :(

The Billionaire's Forever Family, by Cate Cameron is an enjoyable contemporary romance.

Cassie Frost spends her days hard working at the town's diner, as well as being the sole caretaker of her thirteen-year-old niece. Since Emily's birth, Cassie has been the joint guardian along with her sister, until she passed away recently. Her sister refused to contact her daughter's father, and when Cassie discovered the possibility of her niece's biological father, she contacts him.

In response, Will Connelly sends his lawyers to make first contact, which makes Cassie hesitant to continue pursue this. However, Will wants to be actively involved in his daughter's life, especially since he missed out on most of his daughter's childhood years. As a billionaire businessman, Will is able to financially take care of his new daughter...and Cassie. Of course, there's plenty of drama and romance in this story.

The Billionaire's Forever Family is geared towards those who enjoy reading modern romances.

So Cassie has been looking after her niece well before her mom passed away. So wanting to give her niece a better life she decides to try to contact the possible father, Will.
Will is quick to try to be there for his daughter but the way he goes about it is very off. At the beginning he seems to just throw money around. First he sends his friend Trevor instead of going to Cassie himself. It looked like an intimidation tactic.
I thought that the way they all came together was very convenient. I think that in this situations its all a lot more complicated.

This book was not what I wanted, regret to have asked for it..I did not like Cassie at all, only thing I appreciated from her was that she was raising her niece, she didn't have to but she did..I also never really like when people get into sexual relationship with someone their brother/sister had one with, that just grosses me out. Will was more likeable to me than Cassie, but it is what it is.

A billionaire, an unknown teenager and a stubborn woman. What’s not to love? I admit, this wasn’t my first Entangled Billionaire, so I may have been a bit prejudiced that I would really like the story. And I did.

Will Connelly is a billionaire, not used to be told no and used to women throwing themselves at his feet because of his fortune. So when he receives an e-mail that he may have a teenage daughter, his first reaction is to send out his lawyers.

What a mistake. Because now Cassie certainly is sure she made the wrong decision in tracking down the possible father of her niece Emily. Struggling with a diner she is stuck with since the death of her beloved sister, Cassie wanted to make sure that Emily will have a family who cares for her. But she didn’t expect to have a cold and heartless bastard send the lawyers at her doorstep.

So now, she is determined to keep Will away. But Will isn’t so easy to persuade. Now that he realizes he has a legitimate daughter, who has been living in poverty her whole life, while he has enough money, makes him want to sweep in and give her everything money can buy.

But he didn’t count on the mother bear Cassie protecting her cub. And who says you can’t be happy without money? With Emily’s well-being as their priority: can Cassie and Will get to a truce? Or will they fight over custody?

Find out for yourself with this heart-warming and cute story. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

So I liked this book and at the same time I didn't like this book it was weird. Will never knew had a child that was until he received a letter from Cassidy his daughters aunt. After Cassidy played a game of not giving the correct DNA it was proven that will was Emily dads and right from the start he started acting like a father and right from the start something starting happening between Cassidy and Will.. What i didn't like was how Cassidy didnt like Will because he had money and was trying to help them better their lives she just got on my nerves after awhile with her whining.
I did like the ending and over all i did enjoy the book and will read more from this author.

Cassidy was making a sandwich when she saw the men in the doorway and she knew she had made a mistake. But Cassady had learned from her sister Penny the power of self delusion and talked to Mr’ Emerson who she had just made the sandwich for. Then one of the gentlemen came up to Cassady and he said he represented William-Will- Connelly and he believed she knew why they were there. The man introduced himself as Trevor and asked when he could expect Cassady’s call and handed her a card when his name and cell number on it. Cassady had sent an email to Will that her thirteen year old niece Emily may ne his daughter it had taken Will awhile but all he did was send this cold lawyer. Cassady didn’t want Trevor looking at Emily- her niece- with that cold stare. Cassady was all Emily had left in this world. Cassady had to tell Emily what had happened and the lawyer showing up. Cassady had used her own DNA for the cheek swab once she had talked to Emily but Trevor had taken a straw Emily had been chewing on. Emily was will’s daughter and he showed up at the diner very angry but then Cassady acted just as angry that he had sent a cold lawyer instead of showing up himself in the first place. Trevor had been Will’s good friend long before he had became his lawyer. Will thought maybe he had come across to harsh to Cassady. Cassady had left to pick Emily up at school before she found out through gossip that Will was her father and there in town. Trevor pointed out to Will that Cassady was more mother to Emily then aunt. Cassady admitted to Will the roof was leaking at her and Emily’s home and agreed to let him fix it so his daughter would be living in a dry home. But then the roofers found mold in the attic and it could take several weeks to clear it all out. Cassady agreed to stay with Emily at Will’s rental house until their house was cleared of the mold. Also the diners roof was leaking and the landlord had already told Cassady he wasn’t putting any more money in the building. The landlord wanted to find someone who would pay more rent for the building or raise the rent on Cassady and she just didn't have the money to pay more rent. Will had been seeing Victoria but it was more a convenience thing then true feelings . Victoria wasn’t one he could go to with his failures or worries. But Will knew he had to end it with Victoria and when he went to the city again about work that is what he did. That was the right thing to do but Will didn’t want to think about why that was the right thing to do.
I loved this book. I loved how Emily was so open to meeting her father and getting to know him but still loved her aunt deeply no matter how much Will could give her or provide her with. I loved how everything was about Emily with Cassady. I also loved how Will was so good with Emily after the big surprise of her existence and learning as he went along. This was a short enjoyable fun read. I loved the romance in the book also but that wasn’t all the book was about. I also loved how neither Will or Emily were willing to let Cassady go no matter they had to do. I loved everything about this book. I could find nothing to complain about and that was great. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I found this to be a nice, cute story. The adults think about how their actions will affect Emily. I liked that. A nice quick romance that most romance readers would enjoy.

Enjoyable billionaire romance that mixes a little hate to love, a small town, and a secret teenage child between two strong characters

The Billionaire’s Forever Family is an enjoyable billionaire romance that mixes a little hate to love, a small town, and a secret teenage child. Despite using a common theme of a secret child, the author puts a unique enough twist on the book to keep it feeling fresh and not as entirely predictable as expected. Also, I’m not normally a fan of older secret children romances but I actually really enjoyed this so if you are skeptical, give this a chance as you might enjoy it like I did.

Told from dual perspective, Will and Cassie are both fierce and strong characters, Cassie especially despite her vulnerable insecurities. What I really liked about this book was that while there were some stereotypical billionaire romance behaviour, the hero, Will, actually had a sweet heart once the book starts moving along and you get to know him more. Also, credit to the author who put a good amount of emphasis on Emily and the relationships she had with both Cassie and that developed with Will and how everything played out.

As a new reader to Cate Cameron, I found this book to be well written with a cute HEA that rounded it off nicely to make it a standalone read. Would definitely recommend the book for something a little different.

This was an alright read. Cassie has been raising her niece after the death of her sister. She reaches out to who she believes may be Emily's father and is surprised when he sends lawyers instead of reaching out to her directly.

Will is shocked to find out 13 years later he is a father, but steps up to the plate. He and Cassie hit it off, but she is determined to remain independent. Her mind set was quite frustrating sometimes. I loved Will, but Cassie annoyed me with her attitude towards him and his wealth. Overall, decent read though.

I reviewed an ARC of The Billionaire's Forever Family.

Cassidy's sister died and Cassidy took over as primary caregiver of Emily, her sisters daughter who was 13 years old. Cassidy thought it would be good for Emily to have a father figure in her life, so she started to look for Emily's biological father. After she made contact with William (who was Emily's father), she realised maybe she made a mistake.

Is Emily going to meet her father or maybe not and if she meets her father how will their relationship be?

I do not want to give away too much and spoil it for the readers, so I would suggest you get the book as soon as it's been released.

This was an enjoyable read and recommend this book to all romance lovers.

Loved loved it. Couldn’t put this book down at all. Held my attention from beginning to end and didn’t let go. Cate Cameron has done such a brilliant job with this book and it sure shines through while your reading it. Such a pleasure to read and couldn’t not recommend both this book and its author.

I LOVED this story! Cassie and Will are fantastic characters and Emily is a great uniting force. It was heartwarming to watch as the relationship between the three changed and developed as the author crafted a well thought out story of an unknown daughter first meeting her father. Emily has been living with her aunt Cassie since the death of her mother. Now Will is around and able to give her a life Emily has never been able to manage. Will the lure of that life take the only family Cassie has left away from her?

This is a wonderfully done story and one I think everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.
