This was a pretty good Older man/younger woman romance.It was hot little read I liked that there was more than just sex between Holly and Joe and thought it was great that she knew what she wanted and went after him.A good quick read

not what I expected, my own fault for not reading the blurb fully.

Romance with a strong emotional and passionate story, about love, sex and deep feelings, no matter what age you are.

For me, this was an escapist novel from the real world. Although the opening chapter had a slow introduction, I quickly got into the story.
Widower Joe Dunberg is attracted to Holly, a beautiful young lady, thirty years his junior. Joe has a lot of alpha male characteristics, possibly accentuated by the age difference. Holly is almost a dream girl, lovely in many ways despite a troubled upbringing. Joe and Holly quickly get together for lots of sex where Joe’s fantasies are fulfilled.
Seeing inside their passionate relationship made me smile a lot. They have a lot of fun together! It could have turned much darker with the introduction of Byron James, Holy’s stalker. Fortunately it did not and Joe and Holly got much more than a happy ending!
Recommended for when you want something fairly light and a bit naughty! I enjoyed this and am looking forward to Carol’s next book!

I really had trouble getting into the book initially and getting caught up in the emotions of the characters. Just couldn't get into this one.

I have always liked Carol Lynne books. This one was no exception. Dr Joe was a widow and lusted after Holly (who was only 26). He tried his best to hide it, but finally gave in to it. He knew some people would look down on him for it, but he couldn't hide his feelings anymore. Luckily Holly felt the same way about him. When Holly finds out she has a stalker, she moved in with Joe. There is a lot of SEX in this book. I mean a lot! I didn't feel there needed to be that much. I skimmed over some of the scenes. I loved Joe's answer to his son, Brody, when Brody asked him if he loved Holly like he loved his mom. Joe did love his first wife, but couldn't express his sexually needs to her. With Holly he could. All in all, I liked the story.

This book was not what I visualized after reading the blurb,instead it was a plot line that sounded interesting and intriguing but remained grounded.I am reading this author for the first time and I claim ignorance on my part, as I did not peruse her previous works to determine the kind of storytelling in this novel .
I started this book with the expectation of a story where the emotional aspect took center stage as the protagonists struggled with the guilt of the age difference being a stumbling block to their love.I expected to read a story about the emotional connection between two people and all the angst that had to be worked through for the sake of enduring love.The book however was about an older man and a young woman who fell in lust and convinced themselves it was love .There was certain creep factor to the conversations between them and every opportunity to indulge in baser desires was seized upon and graphically presented.If you are looking for a quick read of soft erotica, then this is your book.This was just not what I was expecting so I did not find it entertaining ,instead it was a bit off-putting.

I really liked this story, Joe was such a sweetheart and your never too old to find your happy ending.

Hot short story - connected to another story by this author, Much older man and younger woman but it is tastefully done and I enjoyed it a lot. I will mention that this book was previously published some years ago with another publisher so if you are a fan of this author (as I am) then you may have already read this book. No changed to the content.
