I listened to this book on audio which is completely the way that you should ingest it. Mamrie reads it herself and it felt as though I was in the car or running errands with a girlfriend telling me all her crazy stories. I haven't read her first book and there were a few times where she referenced it, so I regret not having read it before reading this one, so I suggest reading this one after that one.

This was one of the first books I've read that is like an "autobiography" of a young adult. I really enjoyed the first half of this book. I think we all have one friend who reminds us of Mamrie.. or maybe that's just me? If you don't, you should find a friend like her to keep your life interesting. This really is just a collection of her stories. I think I thought there would be more of a plot - but I hadn't read her first book so this is probably my fault. The second half kind of felt like we were scraping the bottom of the barrel to find little stories to finish the book. I laughed out loud during the election parts. It was just all so overdramatic. I did recommend this book to my friend before I finished it but I probably wouldn't buy it and won't be reading it again.

You're either a fan of Mamrie Hart's functioning alcoholism-as-comedy routine, or you're not. I usually am; I really, really enjoyed her first book, but this time around, her schtick wears thin. It's still very funny but really only the most die-hard fans will love it.

This was amazing. I even played the drinking game along with it! Mamrie was hilarious and touching all at the same time (although, mostly hilarious!), but when she got deep.. It was really sweet!
She had some wild times and some great stories and I would love to read more by her!

Mamrie Hart brings another round of stories to the table. This book is full of fun and entertaining stories about Mamrie's life as a newly single person and her attempts to have more adventures. It is funny and witty, but at times a bit overly graphic.

An easy read for when you're in need of a good laugh!
I've Got This Round is disarmingly honest and funny to the core...

While I read lots of different types of books, I typically only review romance novels. But I had to make an exception for one of my favorite YouTubers and overall amazing personalities. As a fellow North Carolianian, I appreciate her southern flair. Mamrie Hart is a hilarious woman and that translated perfectly into her newest novel, I've Got This Round.

In this book, we are welcomed with stories from her travels, each one more funnier than the last but all together tell her clear picture of the person Mamrie is. I felt for her breakup, I laughed at her mischief, I drank with her over and over again and each moment felt but light but truthful.

This is a book I can honestly recommend to anyone, I promise you will laugh your ass off and be entertained with each and every page turn.

Having never watched Mamrie Hart’s YouTube show or read her first book, You Deserve a Drink, you’d think that her second book about her adventures, I’ve Got This Round, might be a slog for me. It was anything but! I eagerly devoured this book from start to finish and giggled frequently while reading. At the h(e)art of it, Hart is a comedy writer and that really shines through while she’s recounting the last few years of her life jaunting around the world with her friends, weeping, swimming in tubs shaped like champagne, and drinking. The comedy is tight within in her book of personal essays and Hart references lil throwaway jokes from previous chapters that make the reader feel like they’re in on some fun inside jokes. This book is truly a hoot and I’ll be snapping up Hart’s debut soon. Hart made me want to travel travel travel and get into some hijinks with my friends and wish that she was one of them.

Mamrie is just so naturally funny, it's annoying. This book was laugh out loud hijinks. I will say, I think i liked her first book more, but i can't say this one was at all disappointing. I especially liked the chapter about the Backstreet Boys cruise because it honestly made me so happy that I never went broke trying to go on one! If you like Mamrie's other content, I think you'll like this too. If you have no idea who Mamrie is, but you like Chelsea Handler, you should check out Mamrie!

Let’s get this out of the way: I love Mamrie Hart and think we should be best friends.

I’ve Got This Round is the second book from Mamrie, and like “You Deserve A Drink”, is full of adventures, Southernisms, and drinks. Plenty and plenty of drinks. Mamrie travels across the world, goes through a heartbreak, has a rebound romance (I TOTALLY know who this was….based on her story about the G’n’R concert, and honestly….it’s changed my opinion of him COMPLETELY.)

Mamrie is hilarious and I’d advice picking up this book, as well as following her on twitter and instagram. Also, Mamrie? Seriously….can we get a drink and hang when you are in New York again?

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and Mamrie Hart for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A good entry into the pseudo-celebrity essay collections populating the publishing world. Hart's hijinks are humorous and sweet, if a bit empty at times. It's always nice to see women who talk about their drinking habits even though that's typically viewed as a man's domain.
