Good book but it's been so long I can't remember most of it. Somehow I missed giving the review for which I apologize. I have since purchased this book and several others from this author

2.5 Hearts Ok I think I am a bit done with this series. I will probably go back to reading it at some point but I think I need a break. After 25 it is time for a break.

This is a bit of hurry up and wait. Within moments Jenna (and the pack) believes Sarandon’s story. And then Jenna is going to protect Sarandon no matter what. I just never connected to these characters.

Disclaimer:
I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Bounty Hunter Jenna St. James is determined to bring Sarandon Silver back to his trial, but when she meets the man, she isn’t so sure he’s the right one, even though her she-wolf acknowledges him as her mate.

Now Sarandon needs to clear his name while courting Jenna who’s hell bent on turning him in.… for now.

All’s Fair in Love and Wolf was an alright story. It certainly keeps your mind occupied as you watch these two clear Sarandon’s name and catching the true culprit. I thought the chemistry between these two were great, but at the same time I felt like the moments they had were at a slower pace than I’d like. However, I did enjoy the mystery aspect of who was behind in using Sarandon name when he wasn’t even in the area. Let alone has the full town of Silver to defend him on their behalf. Terry Spears did a wonderful job establishing a strong knit family after all these years.

I look forward to reading more of her work!

I liked this book but I have to admit it was not my favorite in the series. It was not bad but was a little long-winded in places overall the storyline was pretty good and I liked both Sarandon and Jenna but did not always buy them as being together. If you enjoyed the previous books you will want to give this a go

Ms. Spear has a winner! The first chapter set things up kind of slow but isn’t that how a roller coaster starts? Once you reach the top, it’s a downhill ride filled with speed, chills, thrills and WhooHoos! That’s the fun of All’s Fair in Love and Wolf. Once this novel gets going it’s a great read and is nearly impossible to put down once the chase is on.

The attraction between Jenna and Sarandon started within a most unusual circumstance and I think that’s what hooked me. Sure, there’ve been plenty of stories that use the trope of the lawman falling in love with his prisoner but this time, Jenna is the one with the Taser and Sarandon is her prisoner. Well, he was supposed to be. That’s when things got interesting.

I’m not sure if I can call this a standalone read because of all the secondary characters who help the hero and heroine solve the mystery, and the roles they played in doing so. What was cool is the added hook of discovering a new and unknown mystery that rocked all of Silver Town. What Jenna, Sarandon, his brothers and the rest of both their families stumble upon is bigger than anyone could have imagined. There are more victims and skeletons from the past that have a major impact on their present and I was wowed.

Seriously, there are so many threads interwoven I was stunned to see how Ms. Spear made it all interconnect. The author really impressed me with her deft handling of so many people and their personalities while keeping what was happening with Jenna and Sarandon center stage. Their romance is the point of the book but it’s couched in some pretty exciting stuff.

When it comes to Sarandon and Jenna finally committing to a wolf marriage, it was everything I look for. The sensual buildup was well done so when they admitted their love and sealed it as a wolf and she-wolf do, I was more than ready for it to happen. I really was happy for the both of them but Ms. Spear didn’t let the postcoital bliss last long and I was tumbled back into the action. Bad guys have no respect. *wink*

I really appreciated the epilogue that Ms. Spear included because it made this novel practically perfect. This review only hints at the excitement within this novel’s pages and there’s a lot I’m not saying. The impact of discovery is half the fun. The happy ever after was truly happy and that made me feel great. All’s Fair in Love and Wolf is a must read for all fans of Ms. Spear.

The problems of the 21st century reached the Silver Town wolves when wolf shifter Sarandon Silver became the victim of identity theft. Then, to add insult to injury, the one who stole Sarandon’s identity has fled from custody and currently on the lam.

Luckily, there is a silver lining in all of this. Bounty hunter she-wolf Jenna St. James was on the case and though their meeting was not love at first sight (after all, Jenna went to see Sarandon to arrest him), there was a spark from the very beginning that made both parties delve a little deeper.

But, before they could go on, they have to find the imposter first and also solve a long-ago mystery that when it comes to light can change lives in Silver Town.

The 8th book in the Silver Town Wolf series and the 25th in the long running Heart of the Wolf series, “All’s Far in Love and Wolf” was in danger of being stale. (Case in point – Look what happened to Solo: A Star Wars Story). Fortunately, Terry Spear did not let that happen with the addition of a strong female lead in Jenna St. James. Add the fact tha, identity theft which is so prevalent in mainstream life is now affecting this very private enclave of wolf shifters.

Being a long time of Terry Spear, this is the nth book of hers that I have read. And once again, she did not disappoint. A lot OMG moments that easily turns into LOL, seeing Brandon and Jenna in action can tickle your funny bone.

But, don’t think for one second that they are slacking on their self-appointed mission. They are not. It is just that those two are such great characters, it is very hard not to enjoy them. And if I’m a betting man so to speak, I will bet that Terry Spear also had a barrelful of laughs when she wrote them.

“All’s Fair in Love and Wolf” is Rated T for Teens.

Another in a long line of fun and entertaining wolf stories kicks off with a bang as a sexy bounty hunting she-wolf hunts for a fugitive that she doesn’t realize is a naughty and sexy wolf shifter that will change her life forever. We have waited a long time for the next Silver brother to find his mate, and I have been dying to see the fun-loving Sarandon meet his match. Ironically this story introduces us to a whole new side of Sarandon and we get to see him serious for the first time even as he has fun with Jenna. Sometimes a long running series like this can become tedious or even boring, but the way that Terry keeps all of her wolves unique and gives each their own little quirks makes reading her novels an engaging experience no matter how many stories I read. Jenna St James is a bounty hunter in her family business and is hunting for Sarandon, or someone posing as him, but when she realizes he is a wolf like her she knows they have a problem on their hands. Sarandon has escaped to the wilds in order to relax and embrace his inner wolf, but when a sexy she-wolf arrives and tries to hold him at gunpoint, his world changes forever. I loved seeing these two challenging each other and then working together to solve the crimes that he is accused of and that could definitely get their entire pack into some serious trouble. Jenna is a strong woman, but giving love a second chance is something she never thought she would want again, even as she enjoys her time and begins to fall for Sarandon’s charms. I liked her character and she was a laugh riot through most of the story, but to top it all off she was super smart and seriously kick ass. Sarandon maintained his lighthearted and loving nature while showing us a serious side to himself that made me love him even more. Together you could see they would be a great couple and that their love would keep their mating interesting and fun for their whole lives. I can’t wait for the next story in the series and to see where Ms. Spear takes us next in her amazing world of wolves (and maybe another crossover to her jaguars too!).

This is my first book by this author but it definitely won’t be my last. I always enjoy a combination of humour, action and, of course, paranormal romance. This book really delivered. A definite recommendation!
My thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book was very entertaining, and it was interesting to see how cheerful and confident Sarandon was regarding his innocence and his feelings about Jenna. Within its pages Author Terry Spear creates the world of family and friends who will do anything to help and support someone they care and love. This is very refreshing to read when the world around us portrays dysfunctional families as a norm. It also does a great job of tying in main characters from previous books to this series.

For Sarandon his life gets turned upside down and he learns some things that shock he and his brothers. But their integrity comes shining through when faced with this unknown.

Jenna has a one-track mind to get her man, but she is also interesting because she thinks rationally and logically about things, so she has the ability to see both sides of the story and act accordingly. I do think she might have gone a little faster with Sarandon than one would expect because of her profession but it all ties in with the storyline so eventually it no longer bothered me.

This is a worthy read for those paranormal readers out there and I give it 4 STARS.

The plot line was good in this book, but I found it a bit dry and long for my tastes. I loved the fact that they didn't jump into bed immediately, I also enjoyed the back-story as to how wolf shifters mated. Terry has a great imagination.
However, it was perhaps TMI in some spots. Characters were well defined and the main plot was well done. Some of the side plots seemed to take a while to wind back into the main story. I can see this as the beginning of a series or as part of a series. It did work as a stand alone and that was good too. I would like to read the next in the series - whether it's the sisters or the other employees of the Fugitive Recovery Agency. I can see lots of good stories coming out of this premise and Terry has a good feel for the community of wolf shifters she has created. Overall, good job.

Heart of the Wolf #25, Silver Town Wolf #8, Followers of the series Sarandon finally gets his book, newbies don't worry it can be read as a standalone. Terry Spear has created a giant PNR universe with her Heart of the Wolf series with several spinoffs, or subseries (a series within a series) whatever you call it Silver Town is probably my favorite. Silver Town, Colorado is a shifter town owned and run completely by shifters, the Silver Pack with several other packs on the outskirts.

Jenna St. James, fugitive recovery agent, didn't know what she was walking into when she took what was suppose to be an easy recovery of an identity thief but her easy job got screwed when she realized Sarandon was a wolf shifter. Not just a wolf shifter but a shifter with a whole pack to back him up. Jenna never being part of a pack before never realized the extent they would go to protect one of their own. Even with the whole pack behind him Jenna is still hesitant to believe and if he is telling the truth that means the real culprit is still out there and her mom is going to be out way too much money. When they have finally proven without a doubt that Sarandon is not the man she's looking for the Silver pack goes all out to help her find the real criminal and the fact that he looks enough like Sarandon to be confused with him doesn't go unnoticed.

Sarandon has more than one reason to work with Jenna to find the real criminal, the attraction was there from the beginning even when she was holding the rifle on him and it was mutual. Jenna was relieved when Sarandon was proven innocent because that meant she could stop feeling guilty for being attracted to a bounty. The attraction and the romance was the easy part the hard part is figuring out how they are going to fit into each other's lives with Jenna working out of Colorado Springs and Sarandon's tour company in Silver Town. I say it with every review I do for this series but I really do love that they don't have sex until they are positive they want each other for mates; they can do everything but that and it really does feed the sexual chemistry between the two and it shows their devotion to each other. These two really have some great chemistry.

Overall, this was such a great read. I loved the whole mistaken identity/identity theft thing and where that whole story went, it went so much deeper than you expect it to and that was nice. Jenna is one of three sisters so I'm hoping to see them in upcoming books (fingers crossed).

This was my first book by this author, but it won't be my last. This book was exciting, sexy, and entertaining. One of the better paranormal romances I've read this year.

ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is author Terry Spear at her best. The characters are likable, realistic (even though they do happen to shift into wolf form), funny and sexy. All things a romance or paranormal reader wants in books. Jenna is intelligent, tough yet feminine and immediately realizes that though she has the right man, he is also the wrong one, and is more than willing to work toward the truth. Not pack wolves, she has a lot to learn about pack and worries that even though they might be true mates, he won't be happy in her world, nor she in his. Sarandon has the same worries, but quickly sees that her bounty hunting life is exactly what he needs and his family will always be a part of his world but that Jenna is the center. This is a great story of a shifter romance, family ties, with the addition of a couple of mysteries that have to be solved -- I can't say too much as the old spoiler beacon will go off but one of the mysteries deals with the once thought accidental death of the Silver brothers mother, with the other being, of course, who was pretending to be Sarandon.

If you need a sexy, sweet, and steamy romance with imaginative dialogue, intriguing characters in a paranormal world then ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is just what you need to get into your hands.

Identity theft can be a pain in the a$$, even when you're a shifter! That's what's happened to the Sarandon Silver. Add in the fact that the imposter even looks enough like him to pass as him to an outsider and he is royally irked! But silver linings on the clouds, a very determined bounty hunter (sorry Fugitive Recovery Agent!) is on his trail.

Jenna comes from a long line of FRA and has no plans to let her latest fugitive take her family to the cleaners. But once she has tased him, after finding out that he was also wolf, she finds herself believing his story that he has an imposter. Add in an extended family and townspeople saying the same things and Jenna wonders if she really does have the wrong man.

Family secrets are unearthed and Sarandon realises that he may just have some more family members he never know about!

Jenna is a strong female, physically and mentally. Sarandon is a 21st century wolf, he is not afraid to admit when he's wrong or doesn't know something. I loved they was Jenna was absorbed into pack life an how her family were equally taken with Sarandon. Sarandon is all about supporting his mate not overwhelming her personality with his own! No misogynistic a-hole tendencies here! YAY!

All's Fair in Love and Wolf takes you back to Terry Spears' Heart of the Wolf series and especially the Silver Town wolves series for another look at life as a shifter in a close knit pack and how a case of identity theft can bring you the love of your life. Being the first time that I've read this particular part of the series I had no trouble following the lives of the Silver boys and their family and friends in Silver town. A unique town in Colorado that is completely wolf run and owned. This book is the story of Jenna and Sarandon who weren't looking for a true love and finding it in a most unusual way.

Jenna is a Fugitive Recovery Agent and on a case to bring in an identity thief who would cost their family business a considerable amount of money since he skipped out on his bail, using a forged deed to a piece of land. Sarandon is taking a couple of weeks off of his tour business to come up with some adventurous ideas to take people on. Going up to a pack owned cabin for a rest he's coming back from a run when he realizes someone is near. He decides to face the person in human form instead of wolf. He finds Jenna holding a rifle on him, thinking it might be a woman his brothers have sent he's not to worried. It becomes serious when he realizes she's serious and is taking him in. When his cousin comes along and finds them in a unique position he thinks its funny. It's the first time she's been captured and finding out Sarandon is a wolf throws Jenna thinking. But she bides her time because there are 2 of them and she knows she's out number and that she'll be dealing with his pack. After meeting 2 of his brothers and other members of the pack Jenna is still holding back on whether he's innocent or not but when she sees how everyone rallies around Sarandon is begins to believe he's innocent and they start to work together with his pack to find the real thief. As they progress in the case Jenna and Sarandon get closer together and realize that they're falling in love with each other. They begin to share their lives. Sarandon's family secrets are revealed as a possible motive for the identity theft. They head to Jenna's home to continue the case and to clear Sarandon's name. While unravelling the case they find there is more to the story than they thought. Sarandon finds his unknown family but there is still a fugitive on the loose. Jenna gets a lead and becomes injured bringing Sarandon back from Silver Town, Where decisions are finalized between Jenna and Sarandon. Jenna is always amazed at how close the whole community is. Commitments are made There is a surprise attack that ends the whole ordeal. New friends and relatives come together for a Spring Fling and a surprise wedding takes place. Three wolf packs come together in a couple different and unique ways.

I always look forward to reading Terry Spears' books they are entertaining, funny and show what true love can be like and how you just know when you've found the right person and wolf for you. I can't wait to read the next book in the Heart of the Wolf series and any shifter books her imagination can come up with. I'm just sorry I got such a late start in reading her books.

Terry Spear has written a masterful story of romance, drama and suspense in All's Fair in Love and Wolf. The setting is the area around Colorado Springs where bounty hunter (excuse me, that would be fugitive recovery agent) Jenna is tracking down a bail jumper, Sarandon. What she finds is a wolf shifter who turns the tables on her and sets out to prove his innocence. There are good wolves, bad wolves and wolves who are misguided. The plot is action-packed and the author ties all aspects of the novel by the end. This story grabs you from the very beginning until the last page. The romance is steamy but not vulgar, and the drama and suspense non-stop. This is a full length novel that keeps you interested in the characters as they search for whodunit on the way to the HEA ending.
