Excellent short stories to satisfy the spanking kink in your life. There are characters and relationships that are developed, which makes even the shortest story gratifying.

This is a collection of holiday stories that are sensual and erotic. All are very short and well written. Many of the authors are writers of series and are recognizable .

This is a fantastic collection of short dirty stories I have read most of these author before and while I liked a couple of these more than the other it's still a super read

I enjoyed most of the stories in the anthology. They were short but had substance. Those looking for fun, sexy holiday reads will enjoy this one.

I read the entire book and it was horrid. Many of the short stories were chapters or add-ons from other stories. While I understand the premise of a short story, I need to be able to connect some how. I couldn't.

Some great stories in here! Descriptive with a quick plot also which I enjoyed. A few of the stories I wasn't a fan of as everything seemed rushed and even the smut wasn't as good quality as the others. Still a fun read.

Spanksgiving is a collection of short spanko stories. I tend to be more of a purist when it comes to spanking stories - by that I mean spanking without sex. The stories were well-written and fun - just not my personal preference.

I am giving this book a 2.97 star rating. This was the average of the ratings I gave to all the stories. This was not as good as I thought it would be. I am on the fence if I would recommend this book or not. I would recommend some stories more than others.

Giving Spanks (5)-This was a good story to start the book off with. I liked it very much. It was a simple story and the reader got a tutorial on how to spank harder and when. Yes!!!! A person cannot do better than a good story and some education.

Love in the Elevator (5)-This was another good story to start off with. I liked the characters, especially Jackson. Jackson was sexy, strong, and he could multi-task (when you read the story you will know what I mean). I like how he took care of his woman. He was helping her got over her fear and pushing her past her limits without degrading her. This installment made me want to read their book).

Tommy Takes Off His Boots (1)-This was not a good story at all. I was very disappointed that this made it into the book. I did not get the attraction between the characters. I was turned off when I saw the characters had a 10 year difference in age. The author did not paint the female character to be sexy at all. She seemed more of a football player with breasts and she was a whore. She only wanted young men she could manipulate. And the young man she pursued was just weird, in turn made her weird. Not a good story.

A Super Spanking (2.75)-I liked the beginning of the story of a young woman wanting to go out on her own and pursue her own interests. Sometimes you got to get free to be free. I liked the sexy banter between Sam and Max. It was sexy and full of promise. I liked that Max was bold in person and over messaging. And that brought out the feistiness in Sam. I just did not like Sam was getting attached too fast. Why could she just not leave this relationship at play and have a good time? I also wished that the spanking was more of a focus of the story.

Happy Birthday (3)-I thought this story was average. Sometimes you need the alcohol to bring you out of your comfort zone. I thought of the song by Jamie Foxx, "Blame It on the Alcohol", so it brought up good memories. However, the story moved too fast. I did not feel the connection between the characters, even though they were to be dating.

Spank Me, Mr. Darcy (1)-I frowned at this one. I was so bored with it. This was not entertaining at all to me. There was too much talking and not enough action going on. The spanking came at the very end of the story and it was rushed.

Spanked by Her Stepbrother (1)-I am say that I did not have great expectations for this one due to the fact that over the stepbrother books. The story was too fast. There were too many things to figure out, which takes away from the story. If the reader is not used to reading a shifter plot then that person is reading the hints that are laid out here and there but not truly understanding. The reader will be focused on the mysteries behind those hints instead of the storyline. And the main female character was not a strong character. She was not all there. I got the hint when she was talking about being attracted to her mother's boyfriend. At one point, you would think she would have sense but she never acted on it. And the characters did not connect. They were on 2 different planes and having 2 different conversations. She would be talking about her relationship with her mother and he would be talking about having a relationship with her. He seemed like he was out of his mind. They fell in love after 2 days. Finally, the story ends abruptly. One of the longest stories and it ends like that? No.

She Has to Touch (3)-It was a nice story. It really did not elicit anything in me. I did not feel the connection between Jonathan and Riley. I did not see where they made the connection that they wanted the same thing.

Punishment Befitting the Crime (5)-I liked how the book ended on this good note. It was a simple story about a librarian giving out deserved punishments for people who turn their books in late. It made me think if people would rather be spanked than pay late fees for late items. It all depends on the person giving the spankings. LOL.

*I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review. All reviews are my own opinions.*

Could not get into this one at all. Really boring and repetitive and does nothing for the genre or the enjoyment of the reader.

I've read many spanking stories in my time, but this could was rather "meh". I could easily find stories of the same caliber on the internet for free instead of paying for this book. 🤷

A book full of 9 erotic short stories. Some of course I thought better than others, but really I think it is all subjective on who is reading these. For example one story was about a stepbrother, another story happened on her birthday, one was a librarian, also one where the women was in charge with a younger man. Overall not a bad book and good for what it advertised.

I have no problems with the subject, but I have problems with consent and respect not being taken seriously. The second story has both, since the man put his hand on the woman's sternum without asking her and then, once they were in a relationship, demands they have sex in an elevator despite her claustrophobia. No thank you.

I loved this book. Its got variety and its selection of authors is very well done.

I don't know if I'd consider it "bonafide Thanksgiving smut," bonafide smut sure. Maybe I'd have enjoyed it more if it was more holiday centered, instead of just a collection of stories that involve spanking.
Yes, I'm aware it really is just meant to be a fun title.

And it is a fun book. For the most part.
I can't say that too many of them were very memorable. Honestly of the nine I really only enjoyed three. And a half, the sex was good; the story...not so much.

It's fun for a quick read and a bit of a distraction, which is why I read them. I love collections like this because they're easy to turn to when I just want to read.

These are little short stories by a variety of authors, and as such some of them are better than others. However, if you are looking for a little holiday themed entertainment, then this should fit the bill.

Spanksgiving is an anthology (164 pages), edited by Lori Perkins which includes 9 short stories with spanking. As with most anthologies, the included stories are a mixed lot. They're all consensual and M/F pairings with both men and women on the receiving end.

There are some continuing characters whose stories form bonus scenes from other works, such as a bonus scene from Bad Boy Alphas #1, and another short installment from Trinity’s Blacio's naughty stepbrothers series (bonus for folks who love shifter romance).

One of the reasons I really love anthologies is that there's always something that appeals to readers for further reading. I found several of the included stories both appealing and sweetly spicy.

There were, however, a few places in the text where typos or grammar mistakes jerked me out of the story, for example a typo where 'you're' was substituted for 'your'. I know I'm a nerd. This probably won't bug most readers.

Available in ebook and paperback formats from Riverdale Avenue Books and released 22 November, 2017.

Four stars

Honestly terrible. Just because it's erotica doesn't mean it shouldn't still have standards. These short stories read like they were written by men who had never touched a woman in their life.

Exactly what it says, nothing more nothing less. Wanting some spicy holiday theme spanking? This is the perfect collection for you. Expect steamy short reads that are perfect if you don’t have a lot of time. Even if you don’t like one story, move onto the next. There is a story for everyone (barring those who aren’t into this type of thing, in which case, why are you looking?)
