Thumbnail biographies of various entertainers - just read the ones about Noel Coward, Paul Robeson and Frank Sinatra but did not learn anything new about them.

I'm not sure if this is a reprint; some of the language feels slightly dated. But it's packed with information and should be interesting to anyone interested in potted biopics or the individuals considered.

I thought the Marie Lloyd bio was well informed and gave a real feel for both the lady, her life and the times. The same can be said of the Piaf bio which captured the essence of her difficult and tragic life. I knew little about Nijinsky, but was happy to get an overview of the man and his work in ballet. Overall a detailed and well researched book and I enjoyed it.

Educational book about the icons from the Era before internet. Interesting to know how these icons were able to be famous without today tools.
