I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It contained a good amount of suspense and character development even though it was a fast read.

I jumped into the middle of this series and had no issue keeping track of the plot or people. I liked that the characters were diverse and that there were Dominant Female traits and Submissive. It was an intriguing concept. I also liked that the female struggled internally with herself and her past and ultimately came to her own realizations about her trauma, and dealt with it.

I loved that she stood up for her choice and that she protected her mate and that he was capable of letting her even though it went against his grain. He was a strong enough person that what happened to her didn't mean that he covered her in wool and kept her safe. he balanced her needs with her safety.

I liked the steamy side of the book as well. Scenes were scorching and intense. I will be reading more from this author.

I've read a bunch of books by Renee Rose. I like the related books. I know what to expect: a good plot, a bit of rockiness in the relationship, and steamy scenes.

I came into this book expecting more of the same and then passed out because it kept me up until 2 AM. I've had 3 hours of sleep today, but it was worth it.

There's a lot stronger tension in this book because of the taboo nature of things, and we get to see the couples from previous books. I'm looking forward to the story about Eslyn.

Okay addition to the Zandian Masters' series. Continues the ongoing story of the Zandian's trying to reclaim their home world from the evil Finn. You don't have to read the first books for this one to make sense. Lots of peeps from the previous books help out Taramina and Erick. This one just lacked some of the chemistry from the first book.

On Netgalley you really can’t miss the purple covers of the Zandian Masters of Renee Rose. So when number seven came along, I just had to request it. And yay, another Zandian story was granted.

In part six we read how Tomis rescued Master Seke’s daughter Talia. In this new book, we meet Taramina, Talia’s sister. But contrary to Talia, Taramina (or Mina as she goes by that name now) knows exactly who she is. However, she doesn’t know that she is not the only survivor. When Erick, loyal subject of prince Zander, comes across the beautiful Zandian girl in a brothel, he doesn’t realizes this is the daughter of master Seke. He does realize that this girl is being held captive against her will as a pet and against all regulations.

The only way to get close to the girl is to pay for her services. And because everyone is watching, Erick has to play a convincing role in being the dominant male in the role-play. Well… let’s just say, he is very convincing…. 😉

Mina can’t believe it when a stranger with the same skin colour shows up and while spanking is whispering promises of rescuing her. But Mina isn’t just a random girl, she is the daughter of general Seke and she has been taught never to give up. Therefore, she isn’t going to wait for some guy to come and rescue her. She will save herself, even if she has to run from the handsome stranger who wanted to help her.

Erick returns to the ship of Prince Zander, frustrated of losing the mysterious Zandian girl at the brothel. His shock is great when he encounters her on the ship and she is the long lost daughter of Master Seke. Of course, Erick can’t tell his esteemed general that he spanked his daughter… And Tara (as she introduces herself to Erick) would prefer to die, before telling her father that as Mina she was a sex slave and a house pet.

Since Erick only knows her as Mina, Tara tries to avoid him and every aspect of her previous life. But Erick is not about to let Taramina go. He wants her body, soul and if she doesn’t listen, he’ll spank some sense into her. But then Mina’s old life and Erick’s current life collide… Will they be able to pick up the pieces?

Great addition to the series

Renee Rose crafted another memorable book in her Alien Warrior a Romance series. As always it was well-written. I did find this one a little more extreme because of Mina's experiences as a sex slave. However I found her journey to healing well thought out and liked the part Erick played in it.

Love Renee Rose's Zandian world. This is a part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. Female Zandians are rare since their planet was invaded and the citizens remaining are in hiding. The population is planning a war to take back their beloved planet. Erick a business warrior is on a buying trip for warships when he visits a sex emporium and discovers Taramina. She is a daughter of Seke who is the head Zandian warrior. Gutsy female with warrior blood makes for an enjoyable read. Warning this is a BDSM novel. Taramina could survive slavery, even as a pet in Prium’s Intergalactic Emporium. She always knew she’d escape.She just didn’t know escape would come in the form of a powerful handsome male of her own species. Especially one whose rough handling incites a fever in her she hasn’t felt before.The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book is one day. Renre is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up that great work.

This is a space opera short story heavy on the erotica.

Taramina is captured when her home planet is destroyed. Enslaved and a trained sex pet she lives for escape especially when she hears that some of her species survived. Ironically her escape comes when a Zandian male finds her in the erotic arena where she is currently imprisoned.

As Erick and Taramina struggle to find themselves and create a relationship that will allow Taramina to deal with her past while serving their people's cause. An interesting tale rich in BDSM type of erotica.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. Just when you think a book can’t be topped, Rose’s next book in the series is just as good as the last and a little more. Loved the book. Erick could be every woman’s dream come true and in the book he is Mina’s, body and soul. The love scenes are very erotic and well written. I love this series and hope it continues. I highly recommend this book and the others in this series.
