Short, quick re-release read. Left me a little flat, but it was okay. That ending though, Wow! I'd recommend it to others.

Jovie and London meet by chance on New Year's Eve one year and eventually meet again some time later and form a relationship. London is newly out of a relationship and finds Jovie sweet and innocent unlike his ex. Jovie hasn't had much luck in love, either, and the two reconnect. However, their romance isn't as it seems. as readers find out on this steamy read. I thought this was a decent read, a bit unrealistic, but interesting nevertheless.

This is the second novella I read from a quartet. I really enjoyed this story, especially the main character’s Jovie random trivia facts. I was definitely not expecting the ending! This was a re-release, and I am glad I was introduced to this author, will read again.

While reading this book I ccould not shake the fact that I had read this book before. The book is good and the plot is on point. Good read for a lazy afternoon. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

It's a re release of a previously written story. The book was just ok until you get to the end. Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC

I had high hope for this, which I got as part of a collection of four romance novellas and I was really disappointed. There is nothing romantic about these books. There is no fantasy of what a relationship could be. It's just a series of poorly written stories with shallow characters who do not have a single redeeming quality. It's so not worth a read.

A sexy tale of twins, a body guard and a lot of other twists and turns. A quick novella!

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

London is planning to propose to his girlfriend, Su, on New Year's Eve in England. When she leaves him for the rapper London was working for, London ends up sharing the night with Jovie, who provides him a shoulder to cry on. Fate brings them back together when they meet in New York City, where they both live. London wants a relationship with Jovie, but Jovie's twin sister Jada has other plans.

I saw the plot twist coming from a mile away but did not guess the ending. <spoiler>I don't find it believable at all that London wouldn't notice that Jovie wasn't actually a virgin, given that she had <b>had a baby</b>!</spoiler> I liked Jovie's quirk of spouting random trivia. Three stories into the quartet of novellas, this has been the best so far, but that's not saying much.

Gotta love the evil twin! Jovie and London already have a few things running against them (that first meeting) but wow, what will both of them do about Jada? And what will Jada do? This is a quick, entertaining read- good escapism. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
