“Dig to Disaster” seemed awfully dark for a beginner chapter book. A headless demon? My goodness. In spite of that, I enjoyed it. I especially appreciated the bolded sections and the explanations in the back of the book.

Kids are going to devoir this exciting mystery story. It’s action from the start with an interesting mystery kids will want to figure out. I wasn’t crazy about the illustrations though but loved the writing.
