Jake is at his company's Christmas party feeling disconnected from his coworkers. There's one coworker, though, that he'd like to be connected with. Unfortunately for Jake, Jake is Liam's boss and Jake does not mess with his employees. Even hot ones that he just recently found out share his BDSM lifestyle.

When Liam comes onto Jake and lets him know that he's interested in being sub for Jake's Dom, Jake's still not sure, because he's Liam's boss. Thankfully Liam is set to move onto a new job, so they're free to indulge in some fun times right there in Jake's office while the rest of the company is outside enjoying the Christmas party.

I'm not too sure about The Christmas Office Party. It's got a good premise, and I like both Jake and Liam, but it's too short and feels rushed and incomplete. It feels more like a prequel than a complete story. There's also the fact that while the scenes were kind of hot, Jake was far too vocal and kept questioning Liam. I mean, I get it, he wants to make sure Liam is consenting to everything, but it was as if he couldn't get going because he had to question every move he made. Sheesh, get to the good stuff already!! Liam was clearly raring to go, he knew he could safeword at any time, why did Jake feel the need to stop and ask if Liam was OK with every single thing?! And one last thing, normally third person POV does not bother me, but for some reason, the writing here with Jake's name being mentioned just about every sentence, made me further disconnect from the story. LJ might do well to refine her third person view in the future.

If you're in the mood for a little fluffy holiday spice with very light BDSM, 1-click The Christmas Office Party. However, don't be expecting a well-developed relationship or hardcore BDSM, because that's not what's going on here.
