An incredible, in depth view of the traditional ninjutsu arts that goes beyond the mundane aspects (like how to stand and the best angle with which to hold a sword), into the true oral traditions that surpass the basic movements of combat.

This well researched book offers insight into the shady world of the shinobi. Dating back from the historical manuscripts that have survived since the 17th Century, the author takes us on a journey and introduces us to techniques and thoughts that are still relevant today. These take the form of lessons and as anybody who has practiced any type of martial art, these paths, or lessons, are not for the weak. An enjoyable and highly recommended read that sheds further light onto this darkest part of Japanese culture.

This is a very informative and accessible book on all things ninja. Too cool!
