Copy kindly received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I finally picked this up because I've heard so much about this book, and I'm on a mission to clear out some of my older NetGalley approvals and get them read.

It took me a fair while to get into this book, I was probably nearly half way before I started really feeling invested in the characters and like I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next.

The whole premise between Holland and Calvin is so far fetched yet is somehow still believable. Most likely because I'm sure there are lots of people out there who do this exact thing, or try to anyways.

I don't really understand all of the musical lingo too much, but once they started living together things really picked up for me, and the book was more about the relationship between the two main characters, than all the other things going on in the background and setting foundation.

I really liked Calvin. He was adorable even if by the end he does some questionable things. I enjoyed he and Holland getting to know each other, and I liked how much of the time they were able to communicate well. Not all of the time, but a lot of the time.

Overall I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more from Christina Lauren in the future.

Once again Christina Lauren have written an amazing storyline that had me captivated form eh very start. I have read most of these authors stories and I found that they just keep getting better and better. This is a definite must read.

I have loved this author duo from the very beginning. Following them has been a delight. I was intrigued to read this new type of book from them. I have to say, it's not their normal style and it did take me a little bit to get away from thinking of their old characters. However, once again, this beautiful duo of Christina Lauren hits the writing out of the park. What a truly delightful story, full of memorable moments and quotes to remember.

I quite liked this exploration of discovered love, finding what makes you special, trust and family. I liked the use of a Broadway show as a backdrop for the romance and all the personalities, dramas and BTS aspects that were showcased. This was my first Christina Lauren and I'll definitely read more.

What a great story, I haven't read this author before and I am glad I was sent this book to read. Roomies, wasn't what I was expecting, and I really enjoyed that. Sweet romance, watching the couple falling in love. The only thing that bugged me was the NO Epilogue, and it would have been lovely to get Calvins POV.

Did not finish this book as it was really annoying and slow moving. It was kind of the stupidest book I have ever attempted to read. When I say "attempted" I mean I really gave it my best. I love Christina Lauren's previous books and I can't believe they wrote such disappointment.

Roomies was a real strong book with mixed emotions where you would laugh out loud one moment and cry your tears out the other. I loved that the story wasn't about sex. It's a story that you would feel in your heart, see it blossoming and pray for it to get its chance at happiness.
