Another Great Book by Drake! It is written well and has a great plot and characters. This is a fast paced book and they should be read in order or you will have a hard time following what is going on. I was pulled in from page 1, I absolutely love this series, I wish there would have been more books. Dont get me wrong the third book wraps everything up, there aren't any unanswered questions. I just really enjoyed this book and wished there could have been more books. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.

The ending that compares to a finale at the Fourth of July! Wow - what action in this one. All the ends are tied up nicely and the trip to the end of the book kept me on the edge of the, in this case, bed. Gia and Bastien aren't together much romantically in this one but Gia is a bit busy trying to save the worlds. Loved how the story all came together. I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This book was everything. It broke my heart with some of the losses that we experienced, but in the end it was everything I was hoping it would be and the perfect ending to a crazy adventure.

I was WAY shipping Gia and Bastien in this book and I loved getting to watch them grow together. Throw in all the near death experiences and this book really has you on edge. You never know who is going to pop up, or who turns out to be a spy.

Gia makes some hard choices in this book and it hard to watch her try to hold it together. She has grown so much since the first novel and in this book you really see her come into her own at the end.

The story comes to a head and the battle we have all been dreading has arrived. I swear Brenda Drake likes to have her readers biting their nails, because by the end of this I was holding my breath and reading as fast as I could to see what was going to happen.

This novel was the perfect blend of the previous two and everything I wanted. It wrapped up splendidly and I hope we see more from this family in the future! Thanks for the wild ride!

"Assassin of Truths" was a great finale to the Library Jumpers series. You do need the context from the first two books to really appreciate this story- and it moves so fast that you would get lost without it. I highly recommend reading from book one through the final together/close in time. All the storylines are closed in this final book, bringing good closure to everything that has happened in the first two. The Library Jumpers series follows Gia and her friends who were introduced to a world of magic by accidentally jumping through a book in a library into other libraries. As Gia learned, simply put, she is a Sentinel and can travel through the world and mystical realm by jumping through books/libraries.

Gia is also the foretold 'savior' of the world, and she is destined to fight Conemar, the evil wizard bent on destruction. In the past books, she was preparing for the final days of war, including collecting Chiavi. This final book brings all her hard work to an end at the seeming end of days, when Conemar has been collecting power, hunting her, and attacking the magical realm. I don't want to say too much as I want to avoid spoilers, but people who have been reading along with this series will love the way this book plays out- it's not always pretty, and there is loss (as in war), but it a fast-paced and thrilling conclusion to a great series.

This is the perfect way to end everything, and the pacing was right on target- there weren't any lulls in the story and things progress at the expected pace. All your favorite characters from the first couple books plus a few new favorites make appearances here. We also get to explore the magical realm a little more in this final book, due to the tasks Gia has undertaken to save the world. There is also an interesting discussion of morality/following orders which is an undercurrent of the book (and has also appeared in the past books a bit), but puts a mirror on history. I think this is a really great YA fantasy with the perfect touch of romance. I highly recommend YA fantasy lovers read the whole series to really enjoy this great finale!

Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Writing
I say that the writing style is very jam-packed. She tries to fit everything all into one paragraph. Which is fine I love her writing. But sometimes not very often I get lost.
Characters
I love the main character so much because that of every other character in other books she has common sense. I love who she ended up with in the end I was rooting for them. But I don't like who the other at love interest ended up with that was surprising.
Plot
Plot was great as always I love her books. I felt like a wrapped up nicely you know happy ending so basically everyone. Totally would recommend this trilogy to anyone who loves urban fantasy.

Assassin of Truths (Library Jumpers #3)
Brenda Drake
Book Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥❣

Assassin of Truths was my favourite book in this series and the ending is so perfect. I would recommend you start with book one. This series is for the magic-loving wizard groupies. I love libraries. Just the smell of old books drives me crazy, but what if there was more! Books that take you on adventures literally. Gia is our heroine and she is always up for a good fight. Quests, mythological creatures, romance and a prophecy are just a few things this series offers.

In Assassin of truths everything comes to a head, but who will survive. Gia is focused on the great battle. She is on a quest to help save the world. It's going to be dangerous, but there is no stopping her. The library gateways are no longer safe, but Gia has worked out what she needs. Some rewards make the risk tempting. They are trying to kill Gia, but she has luck and friends on her side.

The love triangle between Gia, Arik
and Bastien will, at last, come to a head. With some swooning moments and lustful looks, Gia will choose her man.

This book has so much to offer. It's action packed with a slice of magical fantasy. 4.5 stars out of 5.

I received a copy of Assassin of Truths by Brenda Drake from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was the first book by Brenda Drake that I have read, but I was intrigued by the summary and glad that I received a copy to preview. I am happy to report that the book did not disappoint. Yes, the plot was a little predictable, but it was a fun read - and a quick read. A good YA novel to unwind with!

Notes and Opinions: This was over way to soon!! Which is the issue with binge reading a series in two days!!! It has been a trip that I won't soon forget and I can not wait to get these in print! I love these books so much and this was one epic story that you should totally look into if you love magic. A battle is on the rise and this book gave me everything I wanted in an ending. If you think you know how this is going to end think again. This one gave us some great twists and turns I didn't see coming and was a great blend. The story and characters come together for a hit that I couldn't put down and won't soon forget. I cant say to much because of spoilers but really if you loved the other two books this one won't disappoint you. Nowhere is safe for the characters I have come to love and this one will be live or die stakes!

Go Into This One Knowing: Heartbreaking, Thrilling!

I received this book from net galley for an honest review. Thank you!!

This novel was a wonderful conclusion to the series!! I enjoyed all the characters from the previous novels and some new characters that had appearances. The battle is on to save the world before Conemar can control the world. He has taken his son Nick, which torments Gia since she could save him. Enemies become allies and friends become enemies. To protect her loved ones, Gia sends them into hiding so she can focus on what needs to be done. The Wizarding Council has been taken over by Conemar, who has been using other wizards to condemn those against him as traitors. No place is safe for Gia and her friends, even the libraries are being monitored and traps are being set. Gia needs to do what is necessary to save the world and destroy the Tetrad, even if it means killing. Gia and Bastien's romance grows, but there are obstacles that each needs to overcome. Gia is afraid to tell Bastien she loves him especially when seeing her former boyfriend, Arik, who wants her back and worried she might survive the upcoming battles. Bastien worries over Gia and tries to keep her safe, even when her own judgment is clouded. As they travel through the libraries and the world, they gather allies who will aid them in their cause and try to undo the lies Conemar has spread. When the final battle comes, Gia will need to make decisions that impact everyone she loves. What will Gia be willing to sacrifice to save the world?

I received an ARC copy from netgalley for my honest review,  so thank you netgalley and publishers for offering me this book! ♡
This is a story is about The gateways linking the great libraries of the world don’t require a library card, but they do harbor incredible dangers. And it’s not your normal bump-in-the-night kind. The threats Gia Kearns faces are the kind with sharp teeth and knifelike claws. Not to mention there’s an evil wizard trying to use his magical abilities to take her down. Because she has the keys to end his devious plan. That is, once she figures out what to do with them.
With the handsome, cocky, and maybe-perfect-for-her Bastien by her side, Gia travels through the beautiful wizard havens and Mystik covens to gather the answers she seeks. The journey is harrowing, and it pits Gia against someone she loves. But there’s only one way to destroy her enemies—if she can uncover it before they catch up to her.
Because sometimes facing our demons is the only way out.
This was the first time reading from this author, this is the 3rd book in the series, however you can still read it without reading fhe first 2. I really enjoyed it ♡
I give this book a 5 star rating!!!!!
