This was an okay story but I don't feel like Sara Brookes did a good job of pulling in the reader. I didn't really connect with any of the characters.

Holy smokes! Talk about kinky, hot, twist and turns.......this book is full of it!! This is the first book I've read by Sara Brookes and wow, what a hot one!!

The story starts with Maddy hacking into a kinky website. Her and her ex-boyfriend have a company together. Steve and her are both geeks, and they are great working together but as a couple, it just didn't work. They are paid to try and hack into people's websites to see where the weak security issues are. Well, when she breaks into this kinky website, oh boy does she find a big issue. Trouble is, she illegally hacked into it. But, she feels a responsibility to let the company know what she found.

She goes to the BDSM club (Noble house) that she hacked into and gives the owner, Kochran (who is also a DOM) a good tongue lashing about his security issues on his website. Ezra, the club geek, sees her taking on Kochran and is totally turned on by her. She has stirred interest from Kochran and Ezra, but each man has their own issues. Maddy has her hands full!!

Great story! Very hot, and kinky! The characters were great together! A very different BDSM club story!!

I loved the start of this one. The whole hacker geek infiltrates the sex club thing was all kinds of fun and the smexy was HAWT, but the whole Kochran being a switch thing just didn’t do it for me. I wanted it too. I really did. But I just couldn’t wrap my head around him being the switch. Ezra, yeah, sure, that I could have gotten behind but Kochran?? Not so much. So despite the fact that I loved how things started off, I just couldn’t get behind their story in the end.

Good read, but the timeline seemed off. The story jump around, there seemed to be missing time when weeks would pass and then the characters would meet up again. The characters were interesting, but each had issues to work through, especially abandonment with the male characters. I would definitely read more by this author.

This was okay. It actually took me months to finish it because it just could not hold my attention long enough. It's not bad, just not what I had hoped for.

There was a lot of potential here but not enough time to full incorporate it. There are parts that were really good and will give credit for. It is different in how the author incorporated online with in person BDSM. However, while some of the characters are interesting I just couldn't seem to care for them and felt something was lacking with the book. Some parts of the story seemed to flow and then there were other parts that seemed to be disjointed.

I tried to get in to this book, made it about half way through and then stopped. I just couldn't seem to connect with the characters. Maybe it was a case of wrong book at the wrong time.

This is a hard one for me to review because I felt differently about so many facets of this book.

As a kinky, erotic novel, this really hits the mark. Noble House is different than any other BDSM club I’ve read about due to the cyber-aspect. Members can watch online, participate in a virtual capacity and satisfy their voyeuristic natures without ever setting foot inside a club. But for those that want to participate in person, the club is a living, breathing place. I thought Maddy, as a gray-hat hacker was the perfect way to bring in a new character, and pairing her up with Kochran, the owner, and Ezra, the resident computer whiz, was natural.

The dynamics of their threesome was also original, with a switch alternating to the extreme, between being a Dominant and a slave, and I loved that it had the M/m aspect in addition to the three of them together. I enjoyed watching Kochran reveal his past and reaching out for exactly what he needed, as well as Ezra finding a relationship again to heal old wounds.

What didn’t work for me was the timelines. I felt that this story did not move in a linear fashion, but was sort of all over the map. The relationships between the different characters moved at an awkward pace; they’d become intimate at first and then seemingly weeks would pass before something happened again. Did everyone just go about their business and fail to bring up the elephant in the room for a while? It also felt weird that Maddy had interactions separately with these two men. It was not cheating because everyone was aware of what was happening, but it seemed odd to me that there was never any discussion about it. It seemed to be three separate pathways that eventually merged, but until the roads became one, it felt kind of disjointed to me.

Overall, however, Sara Brooke’s creation of Noble House is certainly interesting, and her Doms are sexy and authoritative and her books a kinky treat.

A steamy read lead by a likable cast, Switch It Up is the ménage you didn’t know you were looking for. Have caution, this book is hot! If you can’t handle the heat, you should look elsewhere. Expect some emotion as well. What initially sounds a straightforward story with a formulaic plot quickly draws the reader in with its multi-dimensional characters and the authors skilled story telling. Maddy is one bada** woman who knows how to take care of herself. Kochran and Ezra are an absolute delight as they have more depth than the typical ménage Doms.

If you are searching for a steamy explicit read involving MFM with as much heart as it has heat, Switch It Up needs to be on your TBR list.

Hacker Madeline Zane really enjoys crossing lines. So when she finds security flaws in the Noble House website, she thinks nothing of showing up at the door of the hybrid fetish club and demanding an audience with the owner. Especially after watching an intense online scene of the notorious Dom bringing a submissive to her knees.

Kochran Duke is weary of always being in control, but meeting Maddy rekindles his pleasure in what had become strictly business. And instead of making him jealous, seeing her submit to his old friend Ezra has him aching for something he didn’t even know he was searching for.

The kind of heartbreak Ezra’s lived through changes a man. Maddy makes him crave a life he thought he’d put behind him for good. Watching her with Kochran only fuels his desires, rousing the caged beast within.

Fortunately at Noble House, virtually any fantasy can become reality.

Review:
Loved these three characters just as much as the three from the first book!

Maddy, Kochran and Ezra were hot and sweet and I went through so many emotions while reading about them. Like the first book it is centered around Noble House and its virtual reality website. It creatively weaves those to presences together. I think each member of this triad has their own valid doubts and insecurities about going into a permanent menage relationship that I think are done realistically. I thought the more we got to see Kochran's backstory was very interesting and added to the whole story. The end is super sad as his sister finally dies, I was crying my eyes out during those scenes. The story is full of sexy goodness and there are lots of interesting scenarios that the three of them engage in throughout the book. This story is a MMF. Not sure who gets a turn next, but cannot wait to find out.

I tried to like this book, I really did. But I couldn’t get into it. At around 45% I had to call it quits. I struggled to connect with he characters and the story line.

I really liked this emotional, steamy ménage read. Maddy is a hacker and gets more than she bargained for when she hacks into a private sex club. She decides to visit and lets them know of their security issues. She meets Duke and Ezra who each are going through a lot. Can they all find a way to be together and heal each other? This read has plenty of drama and the characters really draw you in. The sex is hot and the story is great. A good read.

This book was just okay with me. The writing was well done, it was just the story that wasn’t capturing me. I have no problem with the premise of the book. It just didn’t draw me in as other books have.

What an intriguing premise!
White hat hacker breaks into a sex club’s website, finds a Sim, and gets so mad at something that she goes right to the club in real life to give the owner a piece of her mind. Then the fun begins.
Despite all the erotica I’ve read, including plenty of power and domination stuff, this is the first book I’ve seen full of the phycology of the switch. It’s pretty interesting, especially the fact it’s a male. Most menage stories feature the two guys with the girl only; rarely do the guys play with each other too. That made this different.
I’m always amazed that stories like these go so long. There’s a section where she’s talking about anatomy, and it’s so matter-of-fact that it’s kinda jarring compared to the previous playful nature. But in the end her being a hacker wasn’t that important; would have been cool to see more scenes of her doing her stuff, maybe catching more bad guys. Overall it was more than okay, but I still feel Maddy’s character was shortchanged a bit. Would have preferred more of her.

Switch It Up is an emotionally riveting tale full of explosive chemistry, super-hot sex scenes that hold readers hostage from beginning to end. The story puts a hold new light on the geeky sounding subject of technology as the author combines it with pleasure and kink so readers can’t help but become completely caught up in the unfolding events bring Madeline, Kochran and Ezra’s fantasies to vivid life.

The characters are strong, compelling and make it easy for reader to get to know them which in turn has readers empathizing with and falling for the characters as they work through their growing relationship that is full of emotional turmoil and sizzling passion. The sex scenes are full of red hot, steamy passages that burn up the pages as well as the virtual world which adds a whole new element and kink to the story and spices things up even more.

This is the first book that I have read in the Noble House Kink series and I found that the Sara Brookes did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to brilliant life which made it easy for me to become immersed in her sexy world that has its own unique elements that makes it different pleasure club stories that I have read. I will be reading that first book asap and waiting impatiently for the third.

I would never have thought I would enjoy kinky menage romances, but, well, here I am. After gobbling down Kit Rocha's Beyond series, when I saw this up for request on NetGalley, I decided to see if it was just Kit Rocha or anything else. After realizing this was the second in a series, I also bought the first book and read that in an afternoon, and then promptly gobbled this one down as well. And, holy crap, are these books hot!

"Some people found pleasure in whips and chains. Madeline Zane got off on skirting the law. Laws were more like guidelines anyway. A line drawn in the sand just begging to be crossed. Maddy hadn’t yet found a single line she hadn’t been willing to leap over."

Maddy, "badass hacker extraordinaire," is a risk taker, a hacker who specializes in hacking into websites and then presenting recommendations to the company for how to fix the security breaches. Usually this sort of penetration testing (yes, that is what it's actually called) is contracted by the company in advance, but Maddy also likes a little bit of illegal exploration on the side. So when she finds a Second Life-style sim on the Noble Kink website, she takes great pleasure in hacking into it. Unfortunately, she's soon horrified when a creep tries to take advantage of the fact that the software doesn't have a "safe word" feature. She's so mad, in fact, that she hops in her car and drives to the Noble Kink warehouse/playground/offices, where she confronts and basically dresses down Kochran, Dom extraordinaire and king of the kingdom. He foists her off on his computer geek, Ezra, who, despite being called a "half-rate code jockey," repeatedly, by her, is intrigued. Of course, rather than prosecuting her for her computer crimes, this all leads to Maddy landing a job helping Ezra fix the website.

"Within the span of a few hours, two men—two complete strangers—had convinced her she was absolutely safe when she was in their presence. She’d come to the club to report a security issue she’d created, the dangerous lack of a safe exit and a jerkoff preying on in- nocent submissives—she hadn’t been prepared for the unexpected pleasure from two vastly different men. Pursuing either of them would be double trouble. While Maddy loved skirting the law, she wasn’t about to put her heart up as collateral. And why the hell was she thinking about both of them? Since when had she become the poster child for polyamory?"

While Maddy is refreshingly - well, not innocent - but most definitely unexperienced in the whole lifestyle, Ezra and Kochran each have their own hangups and pasts to work through. In romances with only two main characters, it can sometimes feel like one is being shortchanged in favor of the other, but I felt like Ms. Brookes gave plenty of attention to each of the main characters and where they were coming from. And, if anything, that would be one of my main complaints - there is a lot that's happening in this book, and it takes a while to get to the point where all three of them are together. The buildup was absolutely amazing, but one of the things I loved about the first book in the series was seeing how Grae fit in with the existing relationship between Saint and Boyce. In this book, though, there was no deep relationship between any of them when the book started, and how quickly they got to their HEA was a bit jarring. It's not that I didn't think their relationship would work out - I think the dynamics between the three of them were well explored and quite frankly lovely - but that I would've liked to see them all have more time to grow together in their relationship. As for another (minor) cons, Maddy has a habit of saying "mothertruckin'" or "mothertrucker" as a swear word. It was amusing the first time, but around the fifth time, it was enough to jar me out of the story. I have no idea why this bothered me so much, but it was weird going from "not a cuss word" to talking about ridiculously kinky things in the next sentence.

And, hoo boy, this book is seriously steamy. There's a lot of different kinks represented (though no clowns, thank goodness), but they all worked well together. Pretty sure this is the only book I've read with server room sex in it (because, damn, those places are usually hot and LOUD and seriously the last place I'd want to get it on) but Ms. Brookes made it sound appealing!

I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the series! If you like your stories kinky and steamy, this is for you!

I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I just could not for the life of me get into this book. I really wanted to love it because my shy kinky side thinks this set up is freaking hot, but I just couldn’t get into these three.

Each one had issues of abandonment and disappointment to over come. They did and got together. It just was very slow and very dragged out. Just didn’t do it for me.

Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.

Galley received in exchange for review. I was unaware starting this book the intensity of the scenes. Fair warning - this is a BDSM book with multiple partners. The twist is there is actually a really good plot line and the encounters feel natural within the world the author built. Kudos!

I really wanted to like this book. It has all the makings of a great read, but somehow I could not connect. I have started and stopped the story two or three times. Nothing to do with the book and all linked to me being in a bit of a reading slump. I know I will buy the book at a later time and fully enjoy it.
