The author explores everything you want to know about Mezcal. He begins with the plants, the production and the finished product. The author really knows his subject and does a very good job of explaining all the characteristics of this drink. I really enjoyed reading about the history what makes the differences. Along with the text there are some wonderful photographs. The end of the book includes reviews of many brands and recipes. Enjoy

I was pre-approved for this title after reviewing a similar tome about rum. I picked it up reluctantly, much like an assigned reading in school, but find myself as riveted by how mezcal is made. I now have a list of mezcales I want to try, as well as cocktails that use mezcal.

Fantastic book reference about the Mezcal. From A to Z. The book contains very interesting about this legendary drink. It goes from the origin of this drink to an excellent collection of recipes with the instructions.

A fascinating look at the varieties and production of mezcal and tequila. Undoubtedly one of the best books I have read on these delicious products of Mexico. Recommended.
