Bob Goff you’ve done it again. Here is a book that is so more than ever in these recent times. Loving everyone, regardless of the difficulty, a tough , but necessary ask.
I love the way Mr Goff writes and presents his wisdom so readily.
Highly recommended.

I thought I'd already reviewed this book - which I read and loved years ago! Bob Goff's trademark blend of humour, empathy and wisdom creates an inspiring and enjoyable read. Lots of stories, but lots of thought-provoking challenges too.

Anyone who knows me knows this is how I live - anyone, everyone, all the time. Whatever it is. But this book invited me even deeper into that practice and opened my eyes to ways that even I can do better. Bob's authenticity is refreshing; he's never trying to teach you anything, but always trying to take you on an adventure with him. You get the sense that he didn't stop his life to chat with you about it, but rather, invited you to get swept up right along in it. And that is the best kind of witness.

A timely book on learning to love those who are different from yourself when many feel deeply divided by politics. There is a study guide available for church leaders who may wish to make this into a study program.

Always grateful to read the encouragements to love. Therein are found the helpful keys to unlocking a richer, kinder life with our fellow humans. I appreciate Goff's personality and the stories that he peppers through to make his message come alive.

This book is very Bob Goff - he makes things simple but not easy. Uncomplicated ideas that make you think. It (like Love Does) makes you see the possibilities not the road blocks.

If you aren't familiar with Bob Goff, he is a wonderful storyteller. I couldn't wait to read Everybody Always, his third book after Love Does. (Read the book to find out what happened to book two.)

Everybody Always is a series of essays with Goff telling stories and revealing the lessons he learned from those stories. One of the great things about Goff is that he is areal. He doesn't hold back and just share the pretty parts of his life where he has never messed up. Goff shares it all. He also hope that you will take what he shares and start living your life with more love every day to every one--even the creepy people. One of the secrets Goff shares is the reminder that we are probably creepy to someone else too.

I laughed and I cried as I read Goff's stories. I tried to stretch the book out but I ended up continuing to pick it back up and finishing it in about two sittings. It is that good! I encourage anyone and everyone to pick up a copy. His storytelling is infectious and it won't be long before you are wondering how you can love the people around you better with the love of Jesus. Isn't that really what the Christian life is all about?

I received the first five chapters from the publisher at no charge as part of the launch team. I purchased a copy of the book that I read to completion to finish my review.

Goff is daring in his writing, his deeds, and his faith. I must admit the landing on the lake account had me on the edge of my seat, though.

Recommended for public libraries and small group discussions.

This book will change the way you view life and the way you live life! We are reminded of how we are supposed to love everyone we encounter, even the hardest person to love. This is a def recommended read for all.

Bob Goff is one of my favorites. His way of storytelling while still getting a message across is phenomenal! I have referred back to this book to read passages again and again. Definitely a worthwhile read!

Continuing saga by this author on Christian love. Well worth the read and to pass on to others. Will be recommending both of his books.

I’d never heard of Bob Goff before but this book was recommended highly and sounded like it would be a good read. And it was a good read. Each chapter follow the same outline, a story and then a lesson learned from the story.
Bob is a very insightful man. He is a great storyteller. The experiences he shared are out of the ordinary. The whole book encourages us all as Christians to love people, all people even the difficult ones.
My favorite thing about the books are the quotes I will keep and display to remind me of the truth of the gospel.
“There’s a difference between good judgement and living in judgement.”
Arguments won’t change people. Simply giving away kindness won’t either. Only Jesus has the power to change people, and it will be harder for them to see Jesus if their view of Him is blocked by out big opinions.”
With “It’s God’s purpose for us. It’s the reason Jesus came. It’s the whole Bible in one word. People who are becoming love are with those who are hurting and help them get home.”
“I think we can redefine safe as staying close to Him.”
“We’re not held back by what we don’t have but by what we don’t use.”
“Grace never seems fair until you need some.”
I was given a copy to read by NetGalley (thank you) but the opinions are entirely my own.

I love Bob Goff, I listened to Love Does, I listened again...and again! Bob is such an engaging author and I highly recommend listening to them as an audiobook. He narrates the books (always a plus!) and if you feel the encounters are jumping off the page, audiobook takes it to the next level! His energy and enthusiasm has me smiling, laughing and crying through his stories. Everybody, Always is no exception. I did not want the book to end, I read and re-read and I will pick up the audiobook and enjoy it all over again.

“Trolls aren’t bad people; they’re just people I don’t really understand...I suppose if I spent all my time under a bridge, I wouldn’t be much fun to be around either.” Classic Bob! He makes light of difficult people and situations and always has a beautiful lesson and story to challenge the status quo and why we should find the good in every person and situation. Those who are shunned, turned away, misunderstood, we should seek them out. Build kingdoms, not castles, treat people with love and respect. People grow where they are loved and accepted. Give people medals, lots of them!

In Everybody, Always, Meeting Carol is my favorite story, I cry every time at the beauty of this story. Limo Driver is another favorite and buckle your seatbelt for Walter, the stories are incredible! Bob is a wonderful storyteller and his lessons and bible parables deliver powerful messages. Everybody, Always is a joy to read. Bob is positive, upbeat and you can feel his energy in the enthusiasm of his writing. The book certain to brighten your day, lift your spirits and bring a smile to your face!

Who will enjoy Everybody Always by Bob Goff? People that need a reminder at what loving your neighbor looks like in the times we live in, people that need a reminder about what Love is, people that like to read inspirational spiritual books as an uplift to their spirit.

Bob Goff writes in a comfortable tone that is akin to how you would imagine it would be sitting in conversation with him. He is kind and caring in his message and he reminds the reader that no one is perfect. It is true that he is a wealthy man telling you about Jesus and I can understand where that might not appeal to some people. Some of the privilege in his stories might make you cringe but his overall message was wonderful.

This is an easy and uplifting read and I enjoyed it.. It wasn't life changing or revolutionary in its thinking, but was a good reminder message.

This book is the follow up on Love Does. How do you enjoy a limitless life? Without restraints. Love. Everybody. Always. In only Bob style, as I read this book I can hear Bob in the background. Hard to love, grumpy people-love them. This book helps you remember Jesus told us to love our neighbor. Not completely lain about them.

I received this electronic ARC from Net Galley

I only read this first five chapters of this book. I found the author to be a little egotistical and quite repetitive in his writing. Good points but could be summed up easier.
Not the book for me.

In classic Bob Goff style, the reader is encouraged, inspired, and motivated to live open-heartedly and with an open mind. I can away laughing, inspired, and looking for opportunities to love more openly.

Bob Goff seems like an amazing human being! I think it would be wonderful to just sit in a room with him and listen to him tell stories. Even more so, I'd love to talk to him about an issue or problem and let him help me solve it because I just know it would be beyond anything I could even think or dream. Love Does, his first book, sits proudly on my favorites shelf and I recommend it all the time. I can't say I loved this one quite as much, but I don't think that would be possible anyway. I know this book gets some criticism because Bob's perspective is one of privilege, but I think that's unfair. He's not asking us to become rich and save the world. He's using his resources to make the world a better place and show love to everyone. We can do that, one person at a time in our corner of the world as well, no matter what resources and privileges we have. That's the great thing about showing love, it's completely free!! Please do yourself a favor and pick up this book and Love Does, read it and pass it on!

* I received this book from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review *

This one took me awhile to get through. Filled with parables from Bob's life and the people he's met, I didn't connect as much as I did to Love Does. It was a little slow in the middle, but thankfully he wrapped up the story beautifully.

I once saw Bob Goff speak when I lived in Pittsburgh and he was just as lively, warm and enigmatic as he comes across in his writing. He is such an inspiring, unique character and the Jesus he describes is one I will always want to know more about.

This book challenges me. From the very beginning, I was asked to evaluate how I love people and who I choose to love.

Bob Goff had me pulled in from "Creepy People" and hasn't let me go since.
