Enjoyable quick read. Savannah Andrews is the PR person for the Dallas Wranglers. Jason Stone is quarterback that they hired to lead the team. He has a reputation for being the bad boy. All season long they have not met but across the crowded club, their eyes meet. She knows who he is and he has no clue. The dialog between them is funny. Yet Savannah's dad, who is the owner, wants her to find out if he is truly plans on retiring. Being in the friend zone, makes for some funny conversations but also heats them up. Savannah is the good girl and Jason is tempting her to be bad. It can all blow up but everyone knows, Savannah can't lie to save her soul. Love Savannah's best friend Allison and Jason's brother and mother.

3.75 stars--BAD BUSINESS is the second instalment in Nicole Edwards’ contemporary, adult BAD BOYS OF SPORTS erotic, romance series of stand alone stories. This is thriry-four year old starting quarterback for the Dallas Wranglers Jason Stone, and the team’s PR rep thirty year old Savannah Andrews’ story line.

Told from dual first person points of view (Stone and Savannah) BAD BUSINESS follows the building relationship between starting quarterback for the Dallas Wranglers Jason Stone, and the team’s PR rep Savannah Andrews. Discovering his most recent one-night stand is the boss’ daughter didn’t sit well with our story line hero but his interest and fascination with Savannah Andrews was everything he had hadn’t expected and more. Forced to work together, as the team ventured towards the playoff championships, Savannah and Stone would begin a secret relationship that will be exposed by a vindictive media personality. What ensues is the growing love and romance between Savannah and Stone, and the potential fall-out as Stone must consider his future with the team.

BAD BUSINESS is a fun and flirty story line, with two sexy and sassy characters who are willing to risk their reputations for their time together. The premise is entertaining and engaging-there is very little angst or conflict between our leading couple, something I would have expected given the circumstances of how they met and their one-night stand. The romance is seductive and hot; the characters are dynamic and energetic. BAD BUSINESS is a heart warming and animated story line –the perfect read for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Stone has always wanted to be on the Dallas Wranglers’ team and suddenly his dream is coming true. He never imagined that he would meet Savannah, the PR coach, and be attracted as hell to her. But her father is his boss. And that’s a big complication. Savannah is use to turning down the players or them using her to get close to her father. But Stone doesn’t seem to want to get close to her Daddy. He just wants to get close to Savannah.

“I get the feeling, if Savannah has a say in it, I’m going to be permanently relegated to the friend zone. Or the client zone. Personally, I have no intention of remaining there, but I’ve got all the time in the world to find a way to get this sexy, sassy woman back into my bed.

And no, I’m not in any hurry.”

I know I possibly say each book that Nicole Edwards writes is my new favorite but I really freaking love this series. Bad boys of sports? Sign me up! Savannah is a no nonsense PR VP for he Dad's team. She doesn't date football players. Then we have the bad boy with the Midas touch...Jason Stone. Hottie football god on the field. Their flirty banter and little games were so fun to read...as much as they pulled each other in...they ensnared me as well. I kept cheering their tentative relationship/friendship on because you could just see that both of them needed the spark that drew them together. I really look forward to the next bad boy we meet!

I am seriously addicted to Nicole Edwards and all of her books. She always creates characters that have me swooning and that unbeatable attraction to one another. Just hot, sexy and full of steam.

I really enjoyed this chemistry between Savannah and Jason Stone.

Jason does not know who Savannah is the night they meet at the club. But Savannah knows too well about him, football player, and has all the ladies. But it's been a long time Savannah been with someone, her best friends encourages to have a one night. The amazing one night of her life and she leaves before Jason wakes up.

Well, long and behold, Jason meets Savannah at her dads party. They talk, they have lots in common, besides there sexual tensions between them both.

Can business and please mix? in this case, Yes, but in a good way. Savannah is reluctant to tell Jason what her father wants of her, to find out if Jason will retire or give the Wranglers another 2 more years. It gets a bit complicated, but Jason has really fallen for Savannah, and does Savannah feel the same towards him.

A very good read, I loved it from beginning to end. A definite read. I received an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley for an honest review. Thank you. I loved this book!!

Savannah is used to being around football players. Her father has been the owner of a NFL team for as long as she can remember. Because of this she has steered away from any relationships with football players. When she started working for her father she stayed with her professional only status. That is until Jason Stone.

Jason Stone was drafted to the Wranglers in hopes he could turn this team around and bring home a winning season. With the season almost over that is exactly what he has done. Even though the season is almost over Savannah has not been introduced to Jason. When they first meet she hides her identity from him. After a heated night she vanishes without a goodbye. Knowing she will eventually run into him again has her tied up in knots. Stone can't stop thinking about her so when they meet again he is not angry about her with holding who she is.

Savannah know mixing business with pleasure is a bad business decision but she can not seem to stay away. Will their need for each other affect his game or can they get the win in both the game and life.

This was a great addition to the series.

Bad Business is another 5 star read from Nicole Edwards.
I usually don't like sports romance books, but so far to date, I have thoroughly enjoyed this genre of Edwards books. Each sports romance Edwards has written have been true to the sport and true to real life.
Bad Business does not disappoint, it pulls you in and holds you there for the whole read, making putting the book down very hard to do once it was started.
If you like sports romance or want to give one a try for the first times, I suggest starting with Bad Business.

Bad Business is the second installment in the Bad Boys of Sports series.
I’d say this could be read as a standalone because I didn’t find any trouble enjoying or following along.

Sports romance is one of my favorite sub-genres. There is just something about it that I tend to gravitate towards.
This book was quite entertaining right from the start.

Stone is one sexy dirty talking hero who instantly had my attention.
When his gaze lock on the beautiful brunette with the brilliant green eyes, he just has to know her.

Savannah isn’t interested in messing around with football players. Growing up around the sport, she all that goes on behind the scenes. But when she’s approached by a certain gorgeous athlete she can’t help but be taken by his witty banter and gripping personality.

Both of them are clear about not wanting anything serious; they’re just looking for a little fun.
As the story goes on you get to see how compatible they are together.
I really enjoyed their developing friendship and feelings - it was fun, steamy and exciting.

My only minor complaint is that it became slightly repetitive towards the end.

This was my first read by this author and it definitely won’t be my last; her writing style is one I enjoyed.
If you enjoy a good sports romance with a twist, I’d definitely give this one a try.

I'm going to be honest the hot cover is what caught my attention with this book- although it doesn't quite fit my view of the characters.
Originally, I thought okay sounds good..but this book was a better than good. IT was a ton of fun. I love witty banter and Bad Business had it in spades. Snarky, witty, and flirtatious banter- I was smiling the whole time. That's not all!

Sexy, sweet football player and the slightly taboo owners daughter...yeah. What you don't know is that sexy, sweet guy is a filthy talker in the bedroom and yes he gets it done. Deliciously entertaining and definitely worth some naughty flashbacks...Bad Business is everything but bad.

It's naughty.
It's hot.
It's sweet.
It's funny.

Nothing bad about it...well except I'm done and there's no more to this story...

Nope, still not bad!

Bad Business is the second book in the Bad Boys of Sports series and each book can be read as a standalone...Jason Stone is thirty-four and a three-time Super Bowl Champion. His the newest acquisition on the Dallas Wranglers and plays as a quarterback. Although now, that he is bringing the team up, for the next Super Bowl Championship, every team wants him, but he wants to retire. Not to leave the world of sport, but he just is not sure yet, what to do next.
The owner of the Dallas Wranglers wants him for another two years, but he signed only a one-year contract, because he was home and because he wanted to win with the team the Super Bowl Championship.
He is in the spotlight, but after he had his fair share of ladies, he is bored and tired of them. He knows that the ladies want him only for the money and the fame, they just threw themselves at him. Stone is a wonderful specimen of a man, sinful, charming, he has a loving family and a great career, and now, the chance to be for the fourth time a Super Bowl Champion...He has his head in the game.

While out celebrating a win, someone catches his eye...A woman is checking him out. She is nothing like the others. He was expecting that she threw herself at him, but it was just the opposite. She hit him with her jokes and her sarcasm, and she kept her true identity to herself. They end up in bed, but the next morning he wakes up alone and definitely wondering about her.
Savannah is none other than the daughter of the Dallas Wranglers and the VP of PR and she does a really good job. She loves the game...
She never mixed business with pleasure, always stayed away from football players. She turned down all the advances from the players. She knew that the players wanted her because she was the owner's daughter...But that is until Stone.
Stone shocks her in a very good way. She thought that he is just like all the others players. He is nothing like he is known, he isn't cocky or selfish like he is the God or a Star. His just a simple guy and he doesn't throw himself at the ladies like all the other players do. She knew who he was, and she thought that this would be just a one night stand, but boy was she wrong...
This book is charming, sexy and very well written and I liked the chemistry and attraction between the two characters...but I wanted more.
I recommend this book! 💝

This is one of those stories that you could see really happening. The characters were intelligent and witty, but absolutely smoldering at times. I thought this was a refreshing twist on sports romance.

You do not have to read the first in the series, as they are not connected at all.

Nicole Edwards delivers a tender and steamy sports romance with Bad Business, and if you are looking a low-angst, entertaining romance, this is a great pick. Jason is an older, more mature jock hero, and he’s both sweet and sexy. It’s nice to not have the typical quarterback playboy. He and Savannah have sizzling chemistry and a great connection, but he works for her dad, who is the owner of the football team, so she is hesitant to get involved. Bad Business is a feel-good, fan-yourself-worthy romance with a lot of heart.

Bad Business is the 2nd book in this series and it certainly packs a steamy punch! Jason Stone is the Quarterback of the Wranglers.
Savannah is asked to shadow Jason in regards to PR! What they don’t realise is what will follow them meeting an illustrious night of passion! Do feelings come into play or do they keep it a casual thing, regardless of the consequences?!
I really loved the witty banter, the innuendos and the all around feel of the story! I especially loved Jason’s relationship with his Mom! That man is certainly something else with those he loves and cares for and it shows in the way he acts towards them! It’s a real credit to him!
The sizzling connection they share leaps off the pages and will scorch the reader! Savannah Andrews was a great character as well and even though she tries to curtail her desire for Jason sometimes heart rules over her head, or does it!?
This was an incredibly enjoyable read with true to life characters that will make your heart feel warm!

Despite being one of the bad boys of sports, Jason’s dedication is to his team and the game. He may be thinking of retiring but for now that decision is pushed to the side as he leads the Dallas Wranglers toward the playoffs.

Savannah grew up living and breathing football. As the owner’s daughter, she works as the PR woman to help clean up and improve any of the player’s images that have been tarnished. When her father instructs her to shadow Jason Stone in order to find out what his intentions are at the end of the season, she’s stuck in a quandary. She never gets involved with players and the fact that her father is throwing her into Stone’s sphere means she’s going to be spending a lot of time with her one night stand.

I really enjoyed the relationship between this couple. With their lighthearted banter and their ability to talk openly with each other, it felt as though Stone and Savannah became friends first, even if it was after their one night stand. This is a very low angst read with no ow/om drama. The steam level is extreme once they get involved and we have some dirty talk from Stone that would make any woman melt. The beginning was a bit slow after their initial meeting but once they meet again things picked up the pace.

Overall, this was a great read perfect for those who like less drama and more relationship mixed in with their football.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley and Loveswept. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Great sports romance. Although entirely predictable, this low angst romance really hit the spot for me. It was sweet, but had plenty of steam. The characters were likeable and relatable. This was the perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon.

Each time I read a book in this series, I fall in love. Stone and Savannah hook up one night and both know and feel they there could be more. The only problem, she knows who he is and he doesn't know her. When he sees her again sparks fly, but he realizes the problems they could face- she is his boss' daughter and works for the football team herself.
When her dad and brother set it up so she had to work with him and try to get him to sign on for two more years (he wants to retire), she accepts. How long can they stay professional? Do they want to? They each have ulterior motives for accepting what her dad suggests. She feels like she can't tell her dad no and he wants to get to know her better.
When they can't deny the chemistry any longer, they let their emotions come into play and decide to have fun until it ends, neither one believes they want a commitment. Can they find a way to make it work work, even when her dad and the press find out?
She was a strong, albeit fragile character. Stone captured my heart. Some of his actions and things he said were so heart-felt. I loved this book.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I have to admit that I enjoyed this second installment more than the first. This story line was a bit more interesting/appealing than the "best friend" angle. I also enjoyed the fact that this book didn't revolve around the same "sport" as the first. Kind of curious now as to what the next sport will be...

Stone is the new, yet veteran, quarterback for the Dallas Wranglers. Veteran? Yep. He's in his early thirties and has already won two Super Bowls. He now finds himself on a new team, winning, heading toward another Super Bowl, yet contemplating retirement. Just one more year, right? But after an attractive woman catches his eye in a club, sparks fly, anonymously. That is, until true identities are revealed. Game. On.

Savannah is the daughter of the Dallas Wranglers' owner. She also happens to be the PR Relations person. You know. The person who's supposed to "take care" of athletes image/problems. So you can image that getting involved with the new player would cause quite the issue. But it seems that between chemistry and her job responsibilities, spending time with Stone is a requirement. I don't think she minds so much.

As you can tell, there's a conflict of interest here, but it doesn't seem as though either one of these two really care. The chemistry is amazing and the intimate scenes don't disappoint. However the drawn out "reveal" seemed to bother me for some reason. Yes, it's "taboo" to date within the organization. Yes, circumstances make it look questionable. But for crying out loud, it's VERY apparent that these two didn't really give a rats ass. And as you'll see when the time comes, the "reveal" was pretty...blah. But all that being said, I loved the relationships between the parents/characters as well as the banter between Savannah and her BFF. In fact....LOVE the BFF!

Jason Stone!!!! OMG, this man is the alpha male of my freaking dreams! March is definitely the month for books that have completely blown me away. I honestly couldn't put this book down. Bad Business is erotic, charming, and incredibly sexy!

Bad Business is the story of one man (Jason Stone) on the verge of making the toughest decision of his life....should he retire after this season or should he continue playing. As a veteran quarterback Stone has decided to sign on with the Dallas Wranglers to finish up his football career. He's dead set on taking this team to the superbowl to win his fourth superbowl ring. He however didn't bargain for being brought to his knees by his boss's daughter, Savannah.

Being the daughter of a franchise owner Savannah has learned anonymity is her best friend. She never expected her night out on the town with her best friend would lead her to getting in between the sheets with the new Wrangler quarterback, nor did she ever imagine she would have the hottest night of her life.

I loved Bad Business by Nicole Edwards. The chemistry between Savannah and Stone is out of this world, from the beginning to the end. I couldn't get enough of these two! One thing I have to mention that I absolutely loved about this novel is that there was no unnecessary drama. It was a good time read! Savannah and Stone's back and forth banter made for some crazy sexual tension. I literally had to put my kindle down a few times to catch a breath. Holy hell these two burned up the pages!

If you're looking for a good time sexy novel, I highly recommend Bad Business by Nicole Edwards!!!

Savanah is the team owners daughter and head of Public Relations. .Stone is the bad as can be, hot as can be star quarterback.. Savannah knows she shouldn't like Stone but he is hot and she just wants one night.. In a club they find each other, he has no clue who she is so she plays along and has an amazing night of fun with the sexy as sin QB. One night turns into more but she knows its bad for business if they get caught but she can't seem to end things either.. When Stone finds out will he be pissed or will he accept Savannah and not care?
