This is the first of the stone series I have read and I loved every minute of it. Killian and Claire have chemistry that cannot be denied. They both have secrets that could tear their world apart but that doesn’t stop them from trying to work things out. I can’t wait to read the second in the series.

Loved it. Claire Montgomery worked for a pr agency whose owner was engaged to her father. The owner (Andrea's) daughter was Margaux, who knew Claire in college and was holding a secret over her head. They get a new assignment and Claire was immediately attracted to Killian (the brother of the trouble maker Trey) Margaux has made it clear that Killian is hers and no one better get in her way. Killian was attracted to Claire and pursued her heavily. The story was very believeable and fun to read. I bought the second book already. There was alot going on and you got a hint of more to come. I have hope that Claire's dad found some happiness with his new wife, but they are very different. This is a good start to a series that I will enjoy and recommend

Predictable story line and loads and loads of skimming in this book. It was boring conversations between the characters, the self inflicted torment she put herself through during this book was not enjoyable to read about. Best part of this book was the end when the now step sister comes at Claire and admits everything and her plan to get Killian, truly best part in the whole book. The beginning is awful, I hate books that starting the future then you have to read and play catch-up as to why she went running out of his place and it standing in front of an elevator.

This is a modern take on The beloved Cinderella. It even has an evil step mother, a step -sister and a ball . One of the changes to this modern day fairy tale is Killian ,the prince. He's an alpha male with a dirty mouth.
It's a fast read that has a happy ending... and don't we all love a happy ending??

I thought this story was sweet and creative and I loved the similarities between Cinderella and this story. I think this is a great start to a series and I can't wait to read more. I am curious to see where the author will take these characters and their storyline.

This was a grea story with great characters. Killian and Claire are great together and they have great chemistry, what better way to get lost in a gairytale. . Victoria Blue and Angela Payne have again made me not want to put a book down. I cannot wait for the next addition in the series so I can keep up with what is going on.

Claire works for Asher & Associates PR as a social media analyst but when the team are shuffled off to the opposite coast in order to bail out Trey Stone, heir to Stone Global, the last thing she’s expecting is to get hit with a case of infatuation for the head of the company, Killian Stone.

The chemistry that the author is able to develop through words alone is off the charts. Claire & Killian are incendiary and the secrets they each have as well as their covert hookup plays an integral part in the story.

Additional characters such as Claire’s stepmother to be, Andrea Asher and her daughter Margaux are pivotal to the fairytale like back story and play their part well in creating intrigue and tension.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and look forward to more in this series and hopefully a follow up for Killian and Claire.

Definitely recommended reading.

Definitely a sexy read! Claire and Killian will steal your heart. The chemistry was great and it was great to see how their past hurts got them to where they did. Can’t wait for book two because of course the authors left some things unfinished or left questions for me.

Hot Hot Hot! This book was a super sexy read. The authors did a great job of creating sexual tension between Killian (a guy with this name has got to be hot) & Claire from the first moment they met. And keep the romantic tension going throughout the entire book.

The story line was captivating & kept me reading way late into the night to see what happened.

My only complaint was that it was a little wordy sometimes. But once you get used to the style of writing its not as noticeable.

I loved Claire and Killian's story. A steamy read to warm up this dreary winter!

Insta-Love that solely revolves around sex. The author had potential; just a severe lack of depth. Since I won’t read trashy sex scenes, I found myself skipping A LOT of pages!

Angel Payne and Victoria Blue have created 2 interesting characters in Claire and Killian. Their chemistry is strong but they both have a past that haunts them. While I enjoyed the book I felt that some of the secondary characters were too over the top. I was also dissapointed as the story does not really conclude in this book, rather in the next book in the series No More Masquerade.

A fantastic read you definitely won’t want to put down .....very sexy love at first sight absolutely loved it x

I love this series! Claire and Killian have an epic love story. Yes, you are going to want to hit Killian in the head to knock some sense into him. The happily ever after is worth wading through the strong emotions presented in this book.

I received an arc from Netgalley. If you are looking for a love at first site romance this is your book. Once Killian saw and met Claire he knew she was the one for him. Now he had to convince her she was for him.

Killian and Claire need to overcome a lot of obstacles, doubts, and bribery situations. Delve into the story of high powered people, PR life and lots of romance. You won’t be disappointed. 4.5 stars
