Claire works for a PR firm which is hired to clean up a scandal to our Prince Charming’s firm caused by his brother Trey. Killian is attracted to Claire (and vice versa), but Claire’s step-sister has warned her off as she wants Killian to herself. Due to Claire working for her soon to be step-mother and step-sister, Claire reacts to them by taking what is thrown at her. I found that I wanted to yell at her to stand up to them! I truly hope that she finds her voice in the next book!

This is the first in the Secrets of Stone series and ends as a happily-for-now! The story continues in the next book.

A steamy romance with some humor, angst, and heartbreak. Killian and Claire are instantly attracted to each other at their first meeting although Claire tries to fight it. They have a bumpy road to their HEA, but Killian is persistent. Look forward to reading the next book in the series.

The format of this book made it difficult to read. The romance was cute but it was a bit racier and more crass than I prefer.

This was an amazing book. I love the story line and it kept me wanting more. I had a hard time putting the book down . Cant wait to see what happen in the next book if there is one

Angel is a new author for me. I read my first book from her recently and I fell in love. She is so talented at writing , especially steamy scenes. Angel is an author I will continue to follow and read. This story had a nice slow burn, The characters are well developed and had a decent backstory, and lots of angst thrown in to make this book interesting not to mention sexy time. Give No Prince Charning a try!

I honestly do not get the reference to the whole Cinderella thing. Ok so he’s rich, she works etc but she’s hardly the poor servant girl despite the wicked stepmother and stepsister thing. And really, Andrea isn’t so much a “wicked” stepmother as she seems to be indifferent.

I found Killian a very well written hero and he was very likeable. He was made better because I kept imagining him as Captain Hook from Once Upon a Time. And he is yummy 😊

I found Claire annoying. She needs a serious backbone. Not once, does she stand up for herself in this. Killian stands up for her but she doesn’t do anything. And the whole I want you, no I don’t thing she had going with Killian was annoying and quite juvenile at points. I honestly found myself wondering why he wanted her so much.

The secrets just weren’t big enough or serious enough to warrant all of the angst for me.
I didn’t realise when I started this that it was going to be part of a series/trilogy involving these two characters. Honestly after reading this I am not that bothered about continuing on with their story. I am happy to think that one was it and this was their happily ever after.

No Prince Charming by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue was a good read. It is loosely based on a modern Cinderella story. Killian isn't really a Prince Charming. I loved reading Killian and Claire's story.

Loved this book, can't wait to read the next one!! Not a normal, typical romance, but worth the wait in the end.

Meeting Killian Stone and attempting to remain strong was something Claire would struggle with. His first glance left her speechless. His first kiss left her running away desperate to remain strong. It was a fight she was going to lose. Killian has her in his sights and he is not a man who loses. Ever. Absolutely brilliant!

The author wrote a well-thought out storyline and wrote very well. I just thouht it is more of a teen book.

This is a modern take on Cinderella and totally charming read. Claire and Killian are perfect together and I had a great time reading this one. This was fun and romantic and had all the elements that made it yummy. It was fast paced and sexy and funny all rolled up in a great read. I recommend this one for a good time!

Talk about a novel that took me for a ride. I read No Prince Charming in less than 24 hours. It was just so hard to put down! It’s 3:30 AM right now as I’m writing this review and I just finished reading!

The suspense, heartbreak, misery, lust, gah we got it all. My chest physically hurt at times because my heart was breaking for Claire and Killian. Payne and Blue depict the characters emotions so well and make us feel what they’re feeling on this crazy carnival ride. Wink wink.

Awesome read. Loved this emotional read filled with secrets and a little mystery. Claire is gun shy about love and is not interested in a relationship Killian is instantly attracted to Claire when they meet. He’s determined to find out Claire’s secret and convince her to give into their attraction. There are still secrets. Looking forward to the next book in the series.Recommended read.

No Prince Charming gave a great spin on Cinderella. Claire was supposed to clean up Killian's brothers reputation. Claire knows that she is supposed to stay away from Killian but can't help herself. They have a great banter back & forth. There is a lot of steamy scenes in the book too. I can't wait to read the next book in the series also. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC..

I didn't care for this book. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could and that's because it is kind of a fun retelling of the typical Cinderella story.

What turned me off was the sex and the language. I'm not a prude, but I don't care for the graphic descriptions.

I'm sorry I couldn't give a better review, but I didn't finish the book.

This was my first Angel Payne book and I have to say I'm impressed. I loved the characters and the witty back and forth banter between them. The story puts a whole new hot and steamy twist on the traditional Cinderella story. I'll definitely be adding Angel Payne to my "must read" authors list

This is the first book by this author i am reading. I was hooked from the first line. A modern day Cinderella story and true to its name, the Prince is not charming. Once i started reading, i couldn't put this book down without finishing it. A wonderfully written story. Eagerly waiting for the next in the series.

In my honest opinion I loved loved LOVED No Prince Charming and found I could barely put it down once I started it. What a great retelling of a cherished fairytale although, as the title implied, Killian is no prince charming and Claire is not your typical Cinderella. I was hooked by the chemistry between Killian and Claire from the minute they met and the whole story was full of humor, sarcasm and romance with lots of hot hot hot and steamy sex. I can’t wait for the next installment for this.

Just finished the book by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue, No Prince Charming. Was a great romance book with suspense, deception and ending with a happy ending. Lost of secrets and regrets in this book which makes for a great read. These writers work will together and the words make you feel the characters and what's happening. I would suggest this book to all my friends and bloggers. Thanks for the great read.
