I found this book hard to get into, with OTT drama that was hard to believe. The H&h were good, though I felt like the h was a doormat, that needed to stand up for herself. I found myself skimming through parts of the books to an ending that was only a HFN :( Overall, this book wasn't for me, but was well written. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Clair might not be Cinderella, but when she meets the bother of her latest client she knows she would love to have him be her prince, but her wicked step-sister has warned her off. This story has several of the characteristics of a modern fairy tale, but it will take more than a a little magic for Clair and Killian to get their happily ever after.

I really enjoyed No Prince Charming and I hope you love it too ;)

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from Netgalley for an honest review. This is an amazing retelling of a modern day Cinderella with a future step mom and horrible future step sister!!!!Claire and Killian's chemistry could be felt pouring off the pages from the very first meeting of these characters! The sexual tension was intense and it flowed into sexy steamy scenes! I am so glad this is only book 1 of the series and I am super stoked to read the entire series!

Claire Montgomery's team of PR geniuses is facing what could be a career-changing opportunity : helping Trey Stone's image after he was involved in a scandal. What Claire didn't count on was her attraction towards Trey's brother and her new employer, the mysterious Killian Stone...

I loved everything about this book : the setting, the plot, the writing, the secrets...

I liked Claire. She appeared a bit young and naive but she had a real personality and great values. And the best of all : she didn't yield to every single demands of Killian, she fought for herself.

Killian was mysterious; genuine and persuasive. The secret he kept was not one I had seen coming it was unexpected which I really enjoyed. He was not just the typical alpha-CEO, he claimed to be no prince charming but was really determined in his conquest of Claire despite the threat represented by Claire's stepsister and stepmother-to-be.

Killian and Claire together made for a great book that was captivating right from the first page. This book made me smile and swoon many times over (Killian has great moves). For the first time in a long while I had butterflies while reading and I really want more of Claire and Killian. There're still so many possibilities. Plus there're secrets still kept and characters with a lot of potential. I can't help but wish for a second book.

I know I could say so much more about the book but the best thing I can do is strongly encourage you to read it. Hopefully you won't regret it ! I certainly didn't.

After the past 3/4 months I've been on a major Angel Payne fix. First book I read of hers Misadventures of A Superhero had me wanting a Superhero, Saved the 1st book of The Honor Bound series had me want to be saved and protected by Garret Hawkins, and now, Angel has me wanting and dreaming of Killan Stone. In this story Angel has giving us a little taste of a modern day Cinderella story in a way. Claire is a girl with a secret and a job for cleaning up messes for very important people. Killan is the Head of a company trying to save it from the scandal of his brother while keeping his own secret hidden. I love how Angel gives us these characters that when instantly they see each other they want and crave the other. Claire tries her hardest even when Killan himself knows his 'No Prince Charming' but Killan is a Alpha of a man and can't control himself around her. I can't wait to see what else is coming for these characters in the next book.

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author so I wasn’t sure how it would go but honestly it was a great read.

This is the story of Killian and Claire. Killian is one of the three Stone brothers, he is the youngest but runs the global empire. However his older brother Trey can’t seem to stay outta trouble causing Killian to take action and calling in a team to try and lessen the blowback on their company. Claire is part of the team, she’s the numbers woman she helps to figure out what PR movements are working best.

However both Killian and Claire harbor secrets and neither wish them exposed. They aren’t looking for each other or anything. Claire knows he’s not her Prince Charming and never will be and that fairytales are just that they never happen in real life.

The two have undeniable chemistry and charisma together. This book was well written and worth the read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy.

No Prince Charming by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue, is a modern take on the story Cinderella.
Killian hires a company to erase the damage his older brother has done with yet another scandal. One that makes the royal family look like a joke. There he meets his Cinderella..... Claire.

Their chemistry is undeniable..... off the charts....
But they both carry so many secrets.... ones that could ruin what they have.

No Prince Charming was a story I couldn't put down till the very end. Excited to see what comes next for Killian and Claire.

I enjoyed this retelling of Cinderella! No Prince Charming was full of sarcasm, humor, and romance. I enjoyed the characterisation in this book and thought it was well written. I was sick at the time and have been dealing with some hard trials so this book was a breath of fresh air!😄💖💙💚💛💜

Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, sweetly sexy romantic journey for two people looking for anything but forever right now. Life has its own schedule to keep however.

Claire Montgomery is a sweet, sassy and quirky modern day Cinderella with a kick ass carrier and independent streak a mile wide. Killian Stone is a strong, sexy, alpha male and a not so charming (more like demanding) prince charming. Their instant attraction and explosive chemistry is forbidden and so hard to resist. Can't wait to read more of this series.

Oh what a beautiful read. I felt like I was living this beautiful Cinderella story about Claire and Killian.
Claire comes into the story with a little baggage, insecurities and a nasty to be step sister. Killian has secrets, a family/business fiasco to sort out and a no nonsense attitude.
When Claire and Killian meet through work: the sparks fly immediately. They take you on a whirlwind of romance with some issues in between.
Praise for the author. You kept my attention throughout the entire book and left me wanting more. I thoroughly recommend reading this book.

Thank you Net-Galley, publisher and authors for a copy of this story.

This story is a modern day take on a Cinderella story. My favorite thing about this story was the sarcastic banter between Claire and Killian. Its what kept me reading. The authors did a great job describing the characters and the set of the story. I felt like I was right there with them. The chemistry between them was off the charts. I loved Killian and his mouthy dirty talk, completely Alpha!

This book was okay but rather crude and really made you feel that you were not dealing with professionals. Killian ran the huge company for the famous Stone family but had to call in a PR company due to his brothers outrageous exploits. In walks Claire from the PR company and their relationship becomes intense quickly. It felt like a quick sex to love story lacking the romance. As a leader of a huge company like that Killian would have been classier, more tactful and not so foul-mouthed. He was sometimes too aggressive in how he treated Claire which came across as domineering. Claire was intelligent and should have found ways to get around Margeaux, her manipulative soon to be step sister . There were some things left open in the end which could be future Sequel plots but I like when people get their retribution and things are closed.

This book is perfect, just enough sexiness, plot line will keep you on edge and the intrigue and secrets that the two main characters keep from each other will keep you enthralled and intrigued by their story. Killian Stone`s brother is in trouble and he needs to have his latest mess cleaned up. Kilina brings in this firm from San Diego who is the best in the business to do so. Amongst the group there is Claire Montgomery, smart, sassy, sexy and unable to trust. Also, in the group is her future mother in law and her daughter Margaux, who called dibs on Killian. Their first meeting is explosive and they can`t seem to get enough of each other. However, each one of them have a secret, something so serious that they could get in trouble. Can they trust each other enough with their secrets? Will their secrets come to light? Can they have a future? No spoilers, you have to read this book series to know the answers. I am looking forward to reading book 2 of Secrets of Stone. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is the first of the stone series I have read and I loved every minute of it. Killian and Claire have chemistry that cannot be denied. They both have secrets that could tear their world apart but that doesn’t stop them from trying to work things out. I can’t wait to read the second in the series.

Loved it. Claire Montgomery worked for a pr agency whose owner was engaged to her father. The owner (Andrea's) daughter was Margaux, who knew Claire in college and was holding a secret over her head. They get a new assignment and Claire was immediately attracted to Killian (the brother of the trouble maker Trey) Margaux has made it clear that Killian is hers and no one better get in her way. Killian was attracted to Claire and pursued her heavily. The story was very believeable and fun to read. I bought the second book already. There was alot going on and you got a hint of more to come. I have hope that Claire's dad found some happiness with his new wife, but they are very different. This is a good start to a series that I will enjoy and recommend
I got this book from Netgalley for an honest review

Predictable story line and loads and loads of skimming in this book. It was boring conversations between the characters, the self inflicted torment she put herself through during this book was not enjoyable to read about. Best part of this book was the end when the now step sister comes at Claire and admits everything and her plan to get Killian, truly best part in the whole book. The beginning is awful, I hate books that starting the future then you have to read and play catch-up as to why she went running out of his place and it standing in front of an elevator.

This is a modern take on The beloved Cinderella. It even has an evil step mother, a step -sister and a ball . One of the changes to this modern day fairy tale is Killian ,the prince. He's an alpha male with a dirty mouth.
It's a fast read that has a happy ending... and don't we all love a happy ending??

I thought this story was sweet and creative and I loved the similarities between Cinderella and this story. I think this is a great start to a series and I can't wait to read more. I am curious to see where the author will take these characters and their storyline.
