“You were made for me, Liv,” Nate murmured

Oh how I’ve missed the gang from On Dublin Street and from Hart’s Boardwalk. On Hart’s Boardwalk just kept making me reminisce about two of my favourite series with my favourite couple Nate and Liv. I wouldn’t of loved this novella more. It had all of my favourite things from both series in it with everyone included! I’m sad to say I didn’t get enough of Lily and January though! I pray that someday all the kids will get their own happily ever after. This novella showed that you still have to work on your happily ever after even after you’ve been married with 2 kids. It will never be all roses and buttercups, you have to communicate. That is the biggest thing in any relationship, especially if you want it to last. Samantha showed us Nate and Liv’s true testament on how much they needed to communicate and keep their marriage alive. It’s so good to keep it bottled up inside because it will not fix anything. I’ve learned so much from all of the couples from both series but I feel a connection for myself with Liv. I love the badass she turned into with her sexy Scot husband. Maybe there will be more crossovers between these two series to come!

"...almost too beautiful to bear."

I was thrilled to get my hands on this amazing crossover story that brought Nate & Liv from On Dublin Street to Hart's Boardwalk years later. Being older myself, I really enjoyed reading about this couple a decade later, after they'd been married and had children together.

Nate & Liv have settled into their careers and their children's lives, staying busy with their extracurricular activities. Finding alone-time is not the priority that it used to be, at least it hasn't been for the last six months. As Liv approaches her 40th birthday she struggles with feelings of insecurity and worries about her marriage. Is she no longer enough to keep her handsome husband happy?

What a brilliant idea it was for the author to send her beloved characters to Hart's Boardwalk for their vacation. Who could visit such an amazing place full of amazing people and not be affected? I know that I was, even though my visit was through the pages of my Kindle. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my voyeuristic vacation with Nate & Liv. So much so that I might have to check my Kindle case for sand from the beach.

This beautiful fusion was a sweet read that merged characters from both series, giving me the full deal and leaving me with a smile on my face. I'm really looking forward to the next installment of Hart's Boardwalk, fingers crossed that it will feature a certain shy bookstore owner. The line forms here...

Nate and Olivia were never my favorite couple, but I still liked seeing how their relationship was after 14 years together. I loved reading about a couple who was trying to reclaim the magic and romance in their relationship!

I do wish we had gotten to see more from other couples of the On Dublin Street series and Jessica and Cooper as well. I guess that just means Samantha should write a novella for the rest of the couples *wink*

This was a short and sexy read and fans of Nate and Olivia will be over the moon for it.

When you can get just a little bit of the Dublin gang back together and add the Hart's Boardwalk characters in the mix, then you have the perfect read!

Olivia and Nate have been married for ten years with two active young daughters. When they aren't working, they are running their kids around to different activities and being together hasn't been a priority for them.

Liv is getting ready to turn forty, so it's hitting her hard. Her self-esteem and marriage to Nate is taking a nose dive and she's afraid that she's losing him. They've been so busy that their passion for each other has fizzled over time, but losing each other is not an option.

For their tenth anniversary, Nate surprises Liv with a getaway in Hartwell, Delaware. Their time spent is sweet, romantic, fun and full of surprises. I enjoyed seeing Nate and Liv re-invent their marriage and bring the passion back.

On Hart's Boardwalk is short and sexy read that will make you root for this couple to find their road to their HEA.

It's been 4 long years since I read Before Jamaica Lane (my second favorite book in the fantastic On Dublin Street series), and I was slightly worried that I wouldn't remember the hero/heroine of that series--Nate and Liv--while I was reading this one. I mean I knew that I loved their story, but I couldn't remember why...

My worries were unfounded, because once I dove into this one (their story picks up after 10 years of marriage and 14 years together) it all came rushing back to me! (Well, Samantha Young helped a bit by dropping little hints about their past along the way...)

Loved loved loved this story! Adored Nate and Liv and wanted their marriage to get back on track. God, why can't every author revisit favorite characters from time to time? And if you think married couples in their forties can't be hot, then you haven't met Nate and Liv! This story did not disappoint. Some fabulous story telling and steamy, loving sex scenes from one of my favorite authors!

On Hart’s Boardwalk is an On Dublin Street & Hart’s Boardwalk crossover novella about Nate & Liv from Before Jamaica Lane. They’ve been together 14 yrs., and married almost 10. They have two beautiful daughters, and a gorgeous home in Scotland. They should have the perfect life, but between being busy with kids and careers, their lives have become routine. Liv hardly recognizes her husband anymore. Where’s the attentive, affectionate man she fell in love with? Lately she feels like he’s slipping through her fingers, and is questioning if he still wants her. They still have a physical relationship, but the passion & emotional connection are gone.

Nate learns his wife is unhappy and feels he’s disconnected. Wanting to show her how important she is to him, he plans a romantic ten day anniversary trip for just the two of them to a small boardwalk town called Hartwell on the Delaware Coast. He plans to spend the time reminding Liv how much he loves her, and reigniting the fire that’s always been between them.

I really loved this book and this couple! They are so in love, & Nate is one delicious Scot! As they reconnect in this sexy novella, they are absolutely insatiable for one another. This time alone is just what their relationship needed. As they find their way back to each other they fall in love all over again.

On Hart's Boardwalk is a crossover between the author's On Dublin Street series and her Hart's Boardwalk series. It is a novella. The narrator is Olivia from Before Jamaica Lane (On Dublin Street book #3). Before reading On Hart's Boardway it is a must that you've read Before Jamaica Lane. I've also read the two books in the Hart's Boardwalk series. And while it's not mandatory to have read these first it is helpful as various characters from the two books appear in this novella.

I knew that the characters from Before Jamaica Lane were in this novella. But I thought that the characters from the Hart's Boardwalk series would be featured more prominently. Really only Bailey has a decent part in this story.

For many readers it has been years since they read Before Jamaica Lane. But I only read it this week in anticipation of this novella. This story is set 10 years or more after the book. It was interesting to see what Liv and Nate were up to. Although since I just read the main book it wasn't the same for me. I didn't miss them. It was just basically getting an extra story. They were definitely having problems in this novella, which made me sad.

Also I was really under the impression that this would be more of a crossover with the Hart's Boardwalk series, especially given the title of the book. This is really a novella to update readers on Liv and Nate, with very little update about Jessica, Bailey or the characters that we love from the Hart's Boardwalk series. I think because that is the series that I am more familiar with ... that I was a bit disappointed to not get more in this novella.

The novella is very sexy (more than was needed for me). It shows what Liv and Nate are like ten years later, which is fascinating. I did like hearing about their life now and about what all their friends were up to. If you love the On Dublin series then this will be a good novella for you.

Nate and Liv have been together for 14 years, and married for 10 of those. They have two beautiful children and Liv is just as in love with Nate now as she was when they first got together. The problem is that Nate seems to have lost his love for Liv. Since one of his friends died suddenly Nate has pushed Liv away and when Nate finds out how Liv is truly feeling he plans a trip to Delaware. At one time, Liv had told Nate of vacations taken near Hartwell, Delaware and Nate wanted to recreate that joy for her. He wanted to make his own memories, however, so he chose Hartwell. They have a great location and it’s just the two of them, but can they work through the issues that have been haunting Liv for the past six months?

This was a pretty great novella. I’ve been reading the Hart’s Boardwalk series so when I saw a novella for that series I was excited. I had no idea I’d get the wonderful double whammy by getting the On Dublin Street series cast of characters as well as Hart’s Boardwalk characters.

Nate and Liv got their HEA in the novel Before Jamaica Lane, and if you read that you know that these two are incredibly hot together. Their sex play in this book was no different but the even better than that was watching two people in love communicate and find the core issue to their problems. It was well written, and Young didn’t slack on giving us the nitty gritty of their relationship – arguments and all.

On top of the greatness of that part of the book we also got to see, as I said, all of the characters from On Dublin Street as well as Hart’s Boardwalk. I loved reading about the ODS crew and hearing a little about their families now that it’s been years since their HEA’s. HB is a newer series but it was still fun to catch up with those characters as well.

Overall I thought this was really good. The love, friendship and feeling of contentment it left me with was incredible and I definitely recommend this one.

All romance fans love a happy ever after, but what happens with the couple ten years down the road? Did they achieve everything they set out to do? Are they still madly in love, crazy about each other? How have their lives changes?

Samantha Young expands on the lives of Nate a Liv in On Hart’s Boardwalk, novella #6.7 of her On Dublin Steet series. The two protagonists made for a fun, sultry and touching read in Before Jamaica Lane, but two children, their respective careers and ten years later, impulsiveness is impossible and doubt has been creeping in. But Nate has a plan which involves traveling to the other side of the world and prove to Liv just how much he’s grown to love her over the past decade.

It’s not often readers get to see into the future of their favorite couples. Of course there are books with epilogues that serve this purpose, but they’re often short and meant to give a glimpse without overshadowing the main story. Oh Hart’s Boardwalk provides the angst over the routine and disconnect experienced by a lot of couples over time but it also gives us the new adventure the couple embarks on in order breathe new life into their relationship with a lot of swoon worthy moments along with delicious sexy times.

Young does a wonderful job of giving fans more of their favorite couple while making the story a standalone for new readers to enjoy. If you loved Nate and Liv, you’ll fall along with them all over again and if you’re a newcomer to the series, you’ll meet two wonderfully flawed yet appealing characters, be able to relate with their couple’s issues, get to see how they overcome them, and most likely want to read their entire story.

On Hart’s Boardwalk is novella #6.7 of the On Dublin Street series by Samantha Young. It is a standalone contemporary romance, with a happily ever after and epilogue.

So so so good. I loved it!

I always enjoy revisiting my favorites, and On Hart’s Boardwalk allowed me to do just that. Crossing over everything I love about the On Dublin Street Series with Hart’s Boardwalk made me insanely happy. Nate and Liv have hit a point in their marriage where they need to dig a bit deeper, and love a little harder to save what’s important to them. A trip to a quiet seaside town is just what they both need to re-center and reconnect.

Samantha presents us with a short novella that felt like it contained the weight of the world. My heart bled for these two. I was on the edge of my seat yelling “get it together” and “don’t you know you love each other”. This was a great read for lovers of both series. We get a taste of both worlds and be warned that you will 100% want to pick up the On Dublin Street Series and start at the beginning all over again.

Anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows there is ups and downs. Young captures the essence of one of these downs between one of our favorite couples Nat and Liv. But she doesn’t only do that, she also includes a bunch of characters from both her On Dublin Street series and On Hart’s Boardwalk series…a win, win all around.

Young doesn't just hit an emotional cord, she plays a symphony with words weaving you deeper into both the On Hart's Boardwalk and On Dublin Street worlds. I flat out loved it and was amazed by everything that took place in a novella length telling.

I receive this ARC copy of On Hart's Boardwalk from Berkley Publishing Group - InterMix. This is my honest and voluntary. On Hart's Boardwalk is set for publication March 20, 2018.

Hitting 40 sucks. I am going through it. Then adding marriage and kids to it, doesn't help at all. This read was a close to home read. I thought it was going to be more fun and light. It was a little darker than I thought it would be.

I heard about Nate and Liv in their original book so I was definitely interested to see how this story would go. At first I was taken aback with Liv in the opening but decided I had to see where this story went and it was definitely not what I thought and points to Samantha for that! Being older with kids, life tends to get in the way and then you look and time has flown right by you and you realized you missed things. This story really spoke to me because I too am coming up on a birthday milestone and I can truly understand how Liv is feeling! You start to think "I am no spring chicken, my body is out of shape", and you feel insecure to a point. I felt everything that Liv was feeling, Is my husband still attracted to me like when we first met? Well , to say her husband, Nate is, is an understatement. He plans a trip for her birthday and they go back the town they both fell in love with to spark and reignite their fire! Sexy scenes and heartfelt romance you don't want to miss and The discoveries of the romance that has always been there were so perfect. I loved the story and of course loved these two characters! Great job Samantha! This is a must read!

On Hart's Boardwalk is part of the On Dublin Street series, but we think you could read it as a standalone. This short novella packs a powerful punch!

For fans of Nate and Olivia, get ready for a treat- we get to see them in all of their glory as they work through some issues that most married couples deal with! We loved this novella!

Who knew there was more goodness to come from the On Dublin Street series? I hadn't thought of this series in quite a while, so when I saw this come up on NetGalley, it tweaked a little nostalgia for me and I thought I'd give it a try.

I loved the little look back at Nate and Liv. I loved how Young didn't make everything perfect for the couple and showed that there were challenges in their marriage. I also loved how they were committed to making their marriage work and that they didn't get it exactly right immediately. What I wasn't crazy about was the infusion of the Hart's Boardwalk series. I haven't been wowed by that series and the inclusion of the setting and the characters seemed heavy-handed. There was also one section where Young had all the couples from the ODS series together and there was far too much time spent reminding the reader of the familial connections between all the people in the room. It was dizzying to read.

In all, this was a nice sexy little visit with two of my favourite characters from that series. For those who enjoyed this series and also enjoy where-are-they-now books, this would be a good one to try.

Holy crap, this novella pulled on my heartstrings. This is the story of two beloved characters from the On Dublin Street series, Olivia & Nate. Honestly, I forgot how much I missed the On Dublin Street gang right until I picked up this book and was thrown back into the world where everyone is still there and just as you remember them (though a little older).

Samantha Young has created characters that stick in your mind and make you never want to leave them. They make you smile, cry, laugh and want to scream at times. I love the character development & just the writing style is a refreshing take on the romance genre.

When you pick up a Samantha Young book, you know you're in for a treat. This is why she quickly became my favorite romance author. Her books are well written & the plot lines are always intriguing.

Hands down, this is a great novella & I cannot wait to read what she has next.

**I received this in exchange for an honest review but I'm about to preorder it on B&N because I know that I have to own it.**

I don't think I've talked about it enough, but Samantha Young's On Dublin Street is one of my all-time contemporary romance series. I have such fond memories of reading those books and discovering the OTPs that lay within. So, I was very happy to hear that she had written a novella, years into the future, featuring one of my favorite couples from the series. I loved this glimpse into Nate and Livia's relationship. They are both busy with their jobs, have two lovely daughters, and are leading a rather monotonous life. To make matters worse, Livia feels that Nate just isn't present in her life anymore as she would like. After the death of a friend, he's receded into himself, and doesn't open up to her. I'm not going to lie, it was a little hard to read about Nate and Olivia having marriage troubles, but it was also incredibly realistic. Let's face it, what marriage is ever 100% happy 24/7? So, I appreciated this look into the life after a happily ever after. Nate and Livia have to work hard to restore their marriage, and the first step towards that is going away from home to Hart's Boardwalk. This is the setting in Samantha Young's newest series, so this novella was a crossover. Besides loving reading about Nate and Livia mend their fractured marriage, I also loved meeting some of my favorite characters from that series. I particularly loved seeing Bailey and Vaughn! Anyways, this is a short novella, so I won't give everything away, but know that it's an emotional, beautiful and sexy story, just as every other book by Samantha Young.

Liv says one thing and Nate thinks it means something else, "my husband immediately frowned. “Are you suggesting we don’t have *** on our vacation?” Nate is still that protective man, “you do realize how effing freezing that ocean is at night,” Nate said, concerned. “Babe, you’re not going in that ocean at night. Naked.” I loved seeing this couple again and what they've been up to and that Nate still was hot for his wife and vice versa.
