A truly adventurous look at Hadrian's Wall! It really makes me want to be there, and certainly makes me want to visit. A really good read, background information, thorough research. Well done.
I highly recommend! Thank you!

This book is interesting on multiple fronts -- British history, Roman history, and architecture! It really added dimensions to what I already knew about this part of history.

I've been super into nonfiction lately and so I was digging this book. I love Roman history and anything British is generally going to ring my bells. I was fascinated by this.

This is a wonderfully informative work that interested in Roman history will greatly enjoy - it's a quick and compact read, yet in the quick time it will take to go through it, you will be rewarded with every single available detail imaginable about one of the largest artifacts from the Roman Empire.

I love Roman history, and this book was no exception. I can't wait to have a physical copy!

Very in-depth, well written book on Hadrian and the Romans in Britain, but probably only of interest to Roman or British history enthusiasts. I just do not feel that it would have very broad appeal in a public library setting outside of the United Kingdom.
Would definitely recommend for fans of Roman or British history.
