Soup is thought of as a fall/winter dish, but you can soup eat every day with this inspiring recipe book.

Fabulous soups and a beautiful presentation. It would make a beautiful wedding gift to a young couple! Recommended!

Another book that i am sure is quite yummy but i failed to review let alone download. My apologies.

I was looking back at all the missed Netgalley reviews to get to complete as many as I can; and do it honestly as these were books I got years ago and somehow missed completely. So now I look for the books elsewhere - libraries/friends/bookstores - and borrow/buy as needed - so I can read and review.
I borrowed this one from the library. - a newer edition of the same book was what I found.
Pluses:
The number of recipes and the variety are both astounding!
The recipes encourage the use of seasonal ingredients so the soups we will make are tasty and fresh; and green too (by using seasonal vegetables, you tend to use locally grown!)
I also liked that the soups are included by month and to fit the season - like soups to warm you during the winter.
The photos tempt you throughout the book which makes you want to try out all of them, but that will take a while
I tried a couple of the recipes and they were a hit (and we love soups in our family; which was one of the reasons I had requested this book in the first place). Note: The first one I tried was the first recipe in the book - the pumpkin tortilla soup. While this is a winter recipe and it is almost spring, winter still seems to be holding on a bit and I just happened to have all the ingredients at hand. And while I could not get it to look as good as featured in the book (will try it once more for a better photo-op), it tasted totally delish!! And this is going to be a repeat recipe in our home for sure.
Minuses:
While this book has its fair share of vegetarian recipes, a bigger share is not so it is not something I would actually benefit from owning but a library borrow every once in a while will be perfect
Many of the vegetable-heavy recipes (like the broccoli-potato or the cream of tomato soup) use chicken or beef broth; so I will be substituting the broth with vegetable broth for all of those recipes to use them.
In Summary: While this book is not for me to have and own, it will be a valuable resource for many; therefore a wonderful addition to a kitchen library for those who are not vegetarians (or vegans)... And even for us vegetarians, we can find wonderful recipes to use - borrow it from the library.
Disclaimer: Thanks to Netgalley for introducing me to this book initially.

I apologize for the delay - I thought that I had submitted feedback regarding this book, but it appears that I did not. I read it a long time ago and I am sorry that I do not recall the specifics of the book. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book and I apologize for any confusion.

I give this book a 5 star rating because of the diverse recipes inside. The recipes were easy to follow. Preparation resulted in delicious meals. I would recommend this book to all soup lovers looking for healthy alternatives.
