This is my first read from Maggie Marr. I loved the story line and how the characters dealt with real life issues. I truly believe some people deal with the real issues that were dealt with in this book. If you like A LOT of steamy scenes this book is for you!

"Love requires bravery." "Be brave."

Previously published as a duet - Wonderf*ck and Mister WonderFULL.

After the tragic death of his fiancé nearly 6 years ago, Jake decided he would never get emotionally involved with a woman again. He did enjoy being with a woman and felt that it was his calling to help that woman feel desired and wanted, thus his alter ego "Wonderf*ck" was born. He could take care of his needs while making the women he was with feel valued and empowered.

Then he starts up a friendship with his neighbor, Tara, who is going through a nasty break up with her fiancé. He feels he is safe with her because she knows him as Jake and isn't looking for anything more than friendship. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the off the charts chemistry that is simmering beneath the surface. Add in an adorable dog, Jango, and it just might be the combination to help Jake finally heal.

But can he just give up his vocation as Wonderf*ck?

This is my first book by Maggie Marr and definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. I don't read many books with just the male POV but it definitely worked for this book. I loved how this book wasn't just the story of him and Tara. There was his relationship with his sister and niece and his mother who was in the later stages of Alzheimer's. There were some light moments in this book but also some very serious moments and I loved them all.

Even though I read this series when it was initially two seperate books, I am SO glad that Maggie Mare re-released it as one book. When I read this series separately, the wait and anticipation were just too much. I had to know what happened to Jake and Tara and I didn't want to WAIT!😣
Since I reviewed the two parts separately, I have included those past reviews because they are still valid today and I totally recommend giving Wonderful Love a spin on your e-reader.😉😍

PART 1:
I have to congratulate Maggie Marr for writing a book with such a perfect balance of complexity and intrigue that it actually kept my attention and now I am impatiently awaiting the release of it's continuation: Mr. WonderFull.  But let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. So, meet Jake Reynolds: a young man that has has a seemlying normal life with it's good and it's bad. A loving younger brother to criminal judge sister, Rachel, loving uncle to niece, Lily, a son to a mother with Alzheimer's whom he still loves, and a self-employed venture capitalist. Unfortunately, due to Jake's fiancee's death about 6 years ago, he has created a persona, The WonderF*ck, to cope with her death. The WonderF*ck's only mission is to rock women's world when they need a good wonderf*cking. Now before any of you ladies go to try and look him up, he accepts new clients by referral only, has a burner phone he changes often, and is very picky about who he shares his special powers with.
After a successful night as The Wonderf*ck, Jack returns to his condo to see his neighbor of almost 3 years Tara Jennings, upset and holding what should be her wedding dress if it wasn't for the fact that she just caught her fiancee cheating with his secretary. So, Jack steps in to console her, but is thrown for a loop when he starts to feel things for Tara past obvious attraction and these feelings are throwing off his 'vocation' as The Wonderf*ck. But Tara's occupation as an investigative journalist for the LA Post might really put a wrench in everything since her new body of work has a specific target that borders in legend: The WonderF*ck.
OMG, I know!! I know your eyes just got big and all these questions just popped into your head, but instead of looking crazy get into this book and find out what happens.

PART 2:
Unlike it's predecessor, Mister WonderFull is a quicker, more somber read for the mere fact that it's purpose is to answer questions posed by the cliffhanger in WonderF*ck. I implore you to read WonderF*ck prior to reading this review  because it gives away some detail of the book.
After Tara's betrayal of his trust in publishing an exposé on The WonderF*ck and the various women he has slept with, Jake shows her that he is not one to be trifled with by blocking Tara's promotion and move to San Francisco. Unbeknownst to her, Jake owns the LA Post and her betrayal made him act out. Unfortunately, his act of revenge is short lived when he faces a judge for attacking Tara's ex-fiancee and is not only sentenced to community service,  but anger management therapy. If you were paying attention to Jake's many issues in WonderF*ck, therapy is just what Jake needs and it is long overdue. Initially,  Jake is resistant to the therapy, but he eventually opens up and works through the barriers that allowed him to be WonderF*ck for so long instead of loving again.
Will Jake forgive Tara and give their infantile love another chance?
Will Jake finally let Tara into the dark places that no one has seen since The WonderF*ck has emerged?
Is this the end of The WonderF*ck for good?
Well, why are you still reading these questions?
Go and find out!! Geez🙄

Wonderful by Maggie Marr is a duet and contains *** Wonder *ck and Mister WonderFULL****.

Wonder *ck by Maggie Marr is the first installment in the Wonderful Love Series.
Meet Mr. Wonderf*ck Jake Reynolds. He's a alpha male. He knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. And he has a secret second identity, a vocation -Wonderf*ck .
Quote: " I am the fantasy. "
And there is Tara, his neighbor, a journalist with a cheating ex-fiancé.
Jake believes he's not good for her.
This book has scorching hot sex scenes, scorching hot.
I liked the characters, the cute niece, the headstrong sister and Tara. But I loved Jake, his character, his devotion to his loved ones and his struggle with his feelings.
And then ends this book with a Bang- a big one. And I really really can't wait till Mr. WonderFull book 2 releases.

Mister WonderFULL by Maggie Marr is the second book in the Wonder Love Series.
Mister WonderFULL is not a stand-alone. For better understanding I recommend to read Mister Wonder *ck, book one, first.
This book picks up where book one ends.
Tara and Jake are broken up about an article Tara published at the paper.
Jake is disappointed by love- again. He's lost his trust- again and is on the war path.
How much more can he endure?
But he loves her and it seems he can't let her go.
After reading book one, I waited impatiently to get my hands on the second book. And I love it. This book made me laugh, it made me cry and it made fell with the characters.
I highly recommend this book and the series and give 5 Stars.
Thank you Maggie Marr !

This was the perfect book to start off the new year with. This wasn't the typical romance book I am used to. This story was so much more.
When I first started reading I thought Jake would be the typical guy who just sleeps with women and says it's just the way men are, but this is so much more.
Jake has had a rough time the last few years and has decided he will never let himself love again. He will sleep with women who need him and wants to make them feel amazing and confident, but a relationship, no way. After losing his fiancé he just can't deal. And when you find out a lot of people have the wrong idea about how she died, you just want to hug him.
Everything starts to change when he meets Tara. He starts feeling things and doesn't know how to stop. There are some obstacles along the way and I still don't know if I trust Tara, but if anyone deserves a second chance at love, it's Jake. On top of all that enough goes on with his family (sister, niece and mother). He seems like a macho, but he melts when his niece wants something. A guy who is like that with his family is definitely worth it.
If you're looking for a romance book, with fun family moments, some hard times and a lot of love, this one is for you.

Wow! I love discovering authors with a fresh voice, a voice that literally sucks me into the story so hard that I can't read the pages fast enough. Maggie Marr, Wonderful Love is worth more than five stars--it's so hot and so real!

I immediately fell for Jake and his other self. I loved that there was another side of him that was super sexy and so dang hot. But the two characters were a lot alike as well. The soft side he has with his niece, the brother that he is to Rachel, the son that he wants to be to his ailing mother, how could you not like him. And then there's Tara, his neighbor from across the hallway. I felt their connection early on in the story and knew that there had to be more between them.

If you like characters that are flawed, yet you simply can't get enough of them, then this is one story you'll want to devour. Maggie Marr is one of those authors that everyone needs to read!

Tragedy has been the one thing that has been a constant in Jake's life. Whether it be his fiancé committing suicide, his mothers illness or his fathers betrayal, Jake turned into his alter ego Wonderf*ck to move on with his life. It takes the love of his neighbor across the hall to break that cycle and move on, but will it be enough? Every time Jake turns around love has disappointed him. The woman he loves writes a tell-all about his sexual exploits as Wonderf*ck, but it gets even worse when he learns just how she received all of the information and just how far she went in getting the details from those he has sex with. But yet, he still loves her. This story had me yelling, laughing and in tears. Everyone needs to Be Brave and learn to love again. This book was so well written. I felt as if I was walking beside each character and felt every emotion that were on the pages. This by far has been Maggie Marr’s best work yet. I highly recommend this book. 5 stars is not enough.

A story of redemption......

This story of Jake (Wonderf..k) and Tara, how do I start.....

First off, I loved that this book is all from Jake's POV, which I haven't read in a lot of romance books and I really enjoy! When I am reading a story, I know how the woman is feeling in certain situations, because, well I am a gal! But to see the struggle that Jake is going through from his perspective was moving.  I loved the humor, the man blasting by a man was spot on and all the variations of calling someone a douche! I swear I highlighted all of them because I will saving them for future reference when needed.

The chemistry between Jake and Tara was off the charts, so naughty, so sweet and just ahhh so good! And also when Jake was in his Wonderf..k persona, wowza...he knew just what to do for the ladies!

His and his sister's struggle with their mom's battle was moving and so sad, and the choices and decisions that needed to be made, I could feel for both Jake and Rachel (his sister).  Jake's beautiful love for his niece was so charming and heart warming.

This is the first book I have read from Maggie, but it will not be my last!  As soon as I finish typing this I will be going into full fangirl mode and start following her everywhere and will be putting her other books on my TBR list!
