FABULOUS!!! What a beautifully written book about life! I'm not in my 60s, but i could relate to protagonist. Heart-breaking, and heart-warming. Live life to the fullest. Just read it, it's fabulous

This is certainly not a book for a sophisticated reader, it is a simplistic fairy tale which can almost be broken down by a mathematical formula.
Husband dies, Rosie gets back her mojo, old flame found, daughters are happy and there is a pregnancy at the close. It has all the elements of a YA book, but written for seniors. I generally like books with older heroines, but this one left me cold.

There is no nuance, this is black, white and formulaic. Even the death of the husband is a neat little package. I would not recommend reading this book, a big disappointment!

Terrific! How fun to find a well-written story about two lovely, smart, creative people finding one another again after so many years. AND they're older than 30! Well done, Ms. Watson, SO well done!

This was a sweet book about a widow that is finding herself in the year after her husband's death. Rosie is a wonderful, strong, caring, and inspiring woman. I love the dynamic between Rosie and her daughters and granddaughters. Rosie meeting Peter again after 48 years is just wonderful. I love how meeting her first love again helps to remind her of who she once was and the dreams she had.

I would highly recommend this book to friends and family.

I received an ARC from NetGalley.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, probably because I am a similar age to the character Rosie and have also been married the same length of time. The book explores what happens to Rosie when her husband dies and who is Rosie. It explores what potential Rosie has to enjoy this part of her life and whether she will take the opportunity to find out what Rosie herself wants and likes.
An excellent read and highly recommended.

I adored Rosie through the years and in the roles of wife, daughter, mother and first love! Peter was a sweetheart and their love story from the beggining was so heartwarming I nearly melted....
Very tender and beautifully told!
Not my usual..but a different and sweet cu of tea!

Kudos!
~Thanks Netgalley for my ARC~
