Wow, Ryder right from the get-go claimed Felicity as his knowing at first glance she was meant for him and he wasn’t letting anybody touch, hurt or scare her on his watch...*swoon*. Where do I get a Ryder?
I always enjoy when previous series characters play pivotal roles in a new book. I love catching up with their characters. I’m super excited about the prospect of a new series spinning off this one.
I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC. For my honest review (which I honestly loved this book), but as always, I will purchase the ebook in support of this great author.

Claiming Felicity is the fourth book in Susan Stoker’s Ace Security Series. It can be read as a standalone but as with the other books, you will enjoy it a whole lot more if you read the other books first. I’ve read all of them excerpt for the first one, Claiming Grace. In Claiming Felicity, the Anderson Brothers are introduced to their half brother, Ryder “Ace” Sinclair. They had no idea that he existed but he knew all about them. Just like his older brothers, Ryder spent his life helping others. Oddly enough, he did it under the most dangerous circumstances.

When Ryder is introduced to the woman that the Anderson Brothers consider to be their sister, Ryder’s whole life changes. Felicity Jones is nothing like her outward appearance shows to the world. She has this tough exterior with all of these tattoos but deep down inside she is scared to death and ready to leave at any moment. Ryder comes into her life just as her past is about to catch up with her. And although he doesn’t know her at all, Ryder promises to do everything within his power to keep her safe. Coming from Ryder, that’s a lot because he is a Mountain Mercenary. The Mountain Mercenaries are a group of men who rescue abused/enslaved women and children around the world. They will stop at nothing help the innocent. Ryder has killed a lot of bad men in his day so he doesn’t even flinch when it comes to Felicity. And just as the title suggests, he claims her as his own. In the beginning, Felicity doesn’t truly know how to handle Ryder’s declaration but she quickly falls in love with him.

I really did enjoy Claiming Felicity. Ryder and Felicity have great chemistry. As with all of the other books, there is plenty of heat. The one thing that disappointed me was that there wasn’t much action in relation to taking down the bad guy. Ryder is this lethal weapon but we don’t really see him in action. Consequently, I feltl like that part of his background was wasted. I can appreciate the author alluding to certain things but I felt let down. I don’t want to give away some of the best parts of the book so you will have to read it to understand what I mean. Otherwise, the book was good overall. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Ryder is alpha hot! He has all kind toughness but beneath it all he is a softy with a huge heart. Castle Rock, Colorado is where he meets Felicity while he is meeting his ½ brothers for the first time. Imagine that stress and then he walks in on all the drama surrounding Felicity. Talk about a lot going on in his world. But he manages to keep it all together, open his heart to his new family and to find the love of his life.

The brother’s in this story are all alpha males. I loved that they questioned Ryder when he arrived but accepted him as their brother when it really counted. They opened their homes, their families, and their business without ever doubting Ryder’s reliability. It was wonderful to see a man who had no family get accepted into a large, loving family.

The storyline of Ryder and Felicity was intense. A woman on the run, a man wanting to taunt her and kill her, and in walks her hero. It was refreshing to see Felicity not fall apart, she stood strong, accepted help, and stayed involve in saving her own life. Felicity is a strong character that had a rough life but managed to find happiness in an unlikely place.

I am new to the Ace Security series and am excited to read more about these amazing brothers. I am also excited to learn more about the Mercenary Men and their stories.

Trading hiding for living…

I love when a new title by this author hits my kindle – the sound of happiness! Military, ex-military, security – whatever their vocation you know there will be alpha males and strong women to challenge them. This is the fourth story in the Ace Security series and this time Felicity and Ryder go toe to toe and heart and heart…

“Stop it. You can’t act all he-manny around my friends.”

Felicity has been hiding for a long time and her first instinct is to flee. She has been found. Again. She doesn’t want to leave Castle Rock, this felt like home, but she knew the danger that would come and then no one around her would be safe. Ryder, of course, has a much different take on the situation…

“Felicity Jones was his. He didn’t question it. It just was.”

Ryder knew Felicity was hiding something and he wasn’t going to let her face it alone. He pushed, she pushed and that give and take meant, eventually, something had to give…

This author knows how to convey feelings and emotion and they are all in high gear in this story filled with anxiety, fear and love. The danger is real and, even as friends circle the wagons, the threat hits close to home. As always, the friendship within this group knows no bounds as everyone jumps into the fray. That friendship, that caring and protectiveness, made for another great story.

The epilogue tied up a few loose ends and left me feeling that everything, everyone, was on track. While this series may be over, the friendships and love will be hard to forget…

I loved Claiming Felicity! I love nothing more than a hot alpha who knows his own heart and isn't afraid to admit it to his love. To watch Felicity learn to trust in someone else and more importantly, in what her heart was telling her, was a beautiful thing. Ms. Stoker excels at writing a story of finding love in some of the worst situations imaginable. This story did not disappoint. It was a great read!

Claiming Felicity is another exciting book by Susan. I could not put this book down. Ryder is the hero we have come to expect from Susan Stoker books. He is loyal, sweet, passionate, and protective. Felicity has been hiding from her past but when Ryder enters her life, he changes it for the better. This book was loaded with excitement, passion, love, and of course tears. I loved this addition to the series.

Well written story with nice storyline and plot. Story flows nicely of the pages. Characters are well described and develops nicely through the book.
Their chemistry is great but I feel as a couple they lacked depth and that did that I was not all captivated by them. More like caught by the whole book and not only the happy couple. Apart from that it is an amazing story with nice twists and great sub characters.
An enjoyable read.

Another wonderful addition to the Ace Security series!

Boy does Susan Stoker know how to walk the fine line between romance and thriller genres! With just a few strokes of her pen, or taps of her fingers on her keyboard, she could easily take us deeply into the labyrinth of the sick mind of our killer.

Stoker has already introduced us to Felicity, but here we get her full story. Felicity, aka, Megan is a typical college student as we begin, but after trying to help her friend and roommate get out of an abusive relationship, she found herself the target of his anger and frustration. He may not have been able to get her then, but years later, she is his sole target.

Ryder, the illegitimate son of Ace Anderson, recently reunited with his three half brothers was mesmerized by Felicity the moment he met her. As the leader of the Mountain Mercenaries, he'd seen woman who'd been ready to bolt, but he wasn't going to let Felicity get away from him.

Stoker has the ability to make you forget that she is telling a story and draw you into the pages. The Anderson brothers and subsidiary characters could be your next door neighbors that is how well she describes them. And her bad guy reminds you of someone, you just can't put your finger on his name. The part that put a smile on my face the most is that she plans to make a series of books out of the Mountain Mercenaries too! I, for one, cannot wait!

Once again Susan Stoker has kept me up way past my bedtime. Not complaining mind you, just a fact since I couldn't put this book down. Ever since we met Felicity I wanted her to find her happily ever after.

Felicity just wants her money and to leave town. There's a reason she doesn't have her name anywhere on the Gym with Cole. Now that reason is close again and she has to leave to protect her friends. Fortunately for her they aren't having any of it and the Sinclair brothers including Ryder are ready to step in to stop her from running.
Ryder immediately senses Felicity is in trouble and needs a way out of it. First she's going to have to trust him with the whole truth.

I couldn't stop reading, with every page you learn something new and terrifying about Felicity's stalker and what he's put her through for years. Now he's close again, sending her things and putting things in her apartment.

This book was scary on a number of levels but there was humor, love and damn does it get steamy. The close ties of the Sinclair family that expanded to include Ryder will bring a tear or two. As will that 'OMG No!' moment Susan is noted for.

We meet the Mountain Mercenaries in this book, as they help unravel the mystery of just who this Joseph Waters is. I look forward to seeing how they find their HEAs.

CLAIMING FELICITY by Susan Stoker. This is the long awaited book four of the Ace Security series. And, happily, I can report that Ms. Stoker did not disappoint. Having met Felicity in the previous books (while I recommend reading, not necessary to read this one), I truly like her. She comes across as one tough cookie, but underneath is all she is sweet and kind and vulnerable. Ryder, our uber alpha Hero, strides into town and takes no prisoners. I have to say, I think Ryder is Ms. Stokers most alpha yet. Honestly, it did take me a bit to warm up to him as he was so over the top caveman but, once I did, can we say LOVE? The story is filled with action, suspense, love and family - all things that, for me, make a great tale. One of the common themes of Ms. Stoker's works is family. The love and support and importance of those that one considers family (not always blood relations) is loud and clear and makes my heart sing. Thank you, Ms. Stoker, for once again, writing a tale that I couldn't put down and want to read over and over.

Reading a Susan Stoker novel is always an adventure and Claiming Felicity is no exception. When Ryder goes to meet his three half brothers that he recently found out about his world gets turned upside down by a mysterious lady who appears to be in some kind of trouble. Dropping everything to ensure her safety is a given. This book has lots of action, a great story and a very sweet side to go with it. I have to say it is being ranked among my favorites of Ms Stoker’s books I’ve read.

Felicity has been on the run for ten years from Joesph Waters. He had harassed her and made her life a living hell. She makes a nice home in Castle Rock. Everything seems fine until she starts getting messages from Joseph again. Intent to leave town she is stopped by the Anderson triplets from Ace Security and their newly discovered half brother, Ryder. They are intent on helping and protecting her.

Once Ryder lays eyes on her, he knows that Felicity is his to protect. I liked the pace of this book. It was suspenseful without dragging things on. Ryder and Felicity’s relationship moved at a realistic pace. Ryder was all alpha and let Felicity know that she was his. It was kind of sexy to see him claim her so earlier on in the story.

There are little twists, turns and subplots within this story making it an exciting read. Susan Stoker has done it again. I hope that this series continues. At least for one more book. Cole has some claiming to do.

The Blah...

-she has been on the run for years, hiding who she is. Then, some guy shows up out of the blue, says he is the 1/2 brother of the Anderson triplets, and gives her his background. She just blinding believes him? Anyone who has been on the run for that long would be more skeptical. She would want to verify his identity in SOME way.

-the insta love is STRONG. Like, its a bit much even for me! Ace is totally in love the moment he sees her and then just pushes himself into her life. The ironic thing is that the guy she is fleeing was an abusive, controlling asshole. Ace kind of comes off the same way. But, because he swears he would never hurt her, its ok? Y'all know if I think the insta love was too much, then its gotta be a problem.

The Beautiful...

-the villain is actually devious! The things he does...diabolical and really show a depth of dedication to ruining lives. Its scary, but in a well written character kind of way.

-Felicity is a tough woman. I thought her reactions to various situations were realistic and appropriate.

The Bottom Line...

The end was unexpected, so I appreciated that. I liked that the epilogue gave us a little snippet of each couple, since they have all been part of this journey. This series is my least favorite Stoker series though. It hurts me to even say it since I tend to adore everything she writes, but this series is one I won't be rereading.

The amazing Susan Stoker returns with the fourth story in the Ace Security series. Just when you thought they were all done, another family member shows up to make for another spectacular story!
Ryder Sinclair is Nathan Anderson’s son, which makes him the half brother to Logan, Blake, and Nathan. The guys get called to help gym owner Felicity Jones. Ryder knows she’s a woman on the run from something when he uses his PI skills to notice certain things about her, and he falls in love. But Felicity has saving up money to run again. Can Ryder and the Andersons’s convince her to stay and help her?
I love Felicity and I was thrilled to see her get her HEA!

I absolutely loved this book and series. It’s just phenomenal this series and all 4 books in my opinion. I didn’t think it could get any better than the 3 Anderson brothers books but it absolutely did. Loved that he was linked to the Andersons and that there is a potential for more books with Ryder’s friends. I really like them in this book and so what them to get their books too. I would so be reading them I can tell you. Plus Susan Stoker is one of my all time favourites and the minute I get her books i have to read them straight away. This book is about Ryder Sinclair and Felicity Jones who is hiding from a bad person from her past. I loved their interactions and the chemistry between them so the get go, really pulls you into their story and what a story it is. Impossible to put down at all. The storyline is just fantastic and grabs your attention and hooks you right in from the first page. I absolutely loved everything about this book and I wish I could give it more than the 5 stars as it totally deserves more in my opinion and I will be definitely back for more as this amazing and talented author does this to me every time I read one of her books. I would absolutely and definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone as you should have a Susan stoker book in your library, I have many of them, even all of them lol

Fighting for what's right is never really easy. And when what you're fighting against sets its sights on you? Sometimes the only thing you can do is run. A decade later and Felicity is still running. Despite making friends, being accepted into their family, and having a steady job with people she loves it seems her trouble has found her again. When her preparations for running bring all her friends into her drama it's Ryder, the mysterious fourth brother, that gives her the hope of freedom.

Ryder is a man who knows himself. When his brothers jump at the call to go to Felicity he knows the call is meant for him too. He's not sure why, he just knows that when that feeling hits his best bet is following it. What he finds when he does is the woman who was meant for him and him alone. Immediately he's on her side, in her space, giving her the support she needs to face her demons, her worst fears, and her past.

The drama from her past is pretty big. We get a good sense from the prologue that the man haunting her is no one to tangle with. Felicity has used all the tools in her brilliant mind to stay as many steps ahead of him for the past decade but it's clear that he's found her again, and he's close. What she feels from Ryder is sincerity and safety. Never in her life did she think it would be possible to have a future free from fleeing and free from loneliness. But it looks like Castle Rock is the place meant for her, for them.

I loved Felicity. She was strong, smart, and still scared. She was honest and still such a badass when it mattered. She had the biggest heart and would do anything for and to protect those she loves. I especially loved it when she agreed to not go alone to meet Joseph. Her response was all sass, all intelligence. A lot of times when a heroine is strong and finally feeling anger instead of fear she also gets stubborn and willing to give in to the villain's demands because of their perceived power over the situation. What Felicity does instead is perfect. Trusting that she has a whole team of awesome at her side and behind her she knows that it's not smart to put any faith whatsoever in the bad guy and to only go into the fray with both protection and support.

And Ryder. I'm a huge sucker for a big alpha man who is perfectly devoted to the one woman he knows he's meant for. From the beginning it's clear that he's not a manwhore, not a playboy, not a badass mercenary who takes physical pleasure just because he can and needs soft bodies and intense release to balance the evil he fights. Instead, he's reserving his sexual passion for encounters that matter and because his job isn't one that allows for encounters that matter, he's mostly celibate. That is so very rare in romance, romantic suspense, and other novels featuring strong alpha-type men who are physically captivating and I find myself craving those kinds of men more and more frequently.

So anyway, back to Ryder. He's all in when it comes to Felicity and his passion for her is matched by the zeal he feels towards her protection. Knowing who she is inside from the very beginning there's no angst in them regarding her past self and present self. He's just in. No questions, no reservations, just devotion. He's noble, honest, and absolutely determined to protect what's his and everything she loves. He is also incredibly resourceful. With no hesitation he called on all his friends to give him the information he needed to do his job.

The direction of the drama wasn't exactly expected and yet when Joseph made his move we could look back and say, "Yeah, I can see that he'd do that." It escalated the drama into more than just a "final showdown" and it also made for a much more powerful ending. It was a catalyst for so much more than the plot's progression and resolution, it tested the couples, the friendships, and the connection they all shared. By having short little scenes from each couple we get to see each of the brothers as they experience their hard-won love and how much intimacy means to them after overcoming tragic events. Their lives are dramatic but so very filled with the tenderness that connects them, gets them through all the crazy that comes to them.

And then the little scene from Rex's POV? Dang. I haven't heard if this is going to be its own series but Susan Stoker doesn't introduce a group of men and not give them their own stories unless there's a crossover of some kind with another author. I'm more than eager to get to know the rest of the Mountain Mercenaries. All the men are charming, intriguing, darkly awesome, and have that same noble, protective streak that I love about Ryder. Each of them deserve their own kick ass woman and I can't wait to get to know them and the women they fall for.

This is the fourth book in the Ace Security series, and I had been wondering about Felicity. I have liked her character since Claiming Grace and how she tried to help, and I wanted to know more about the tough chick. Susan Stoker has an amazing ability to create characters that are so different from each other. Some authors create characters with similar characteristics, but not Susan. I have read all of Susan’s books, and there are no repetitive characteristics. Felicity gives off a tough image, but she is not that way inside. Outward appearances can really be deceiving. I love the addition of Ryder, and that we finally get some answers about Anderson’s parents. You will not want to put this book down! I know I couldn’t, and it made one long night.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

Susan Stoker does it again she gives us a book that leaves you wanted more. From the first page you are not putting this book down. You know Felicity is going through some **** yet she stays strong and doesn't run this time.
Ryder sees Felicity and decides he isn't going anywhere he takes over security to keep her safe.
When push comes to shove they stick together and fight for what she needs.

5 Gripping, Breath Stopping Stars!!!

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

Felicity Jones’ past has found her, she can’t risk the lives of those she loves. When Ryder Sinclair sees the fear behind Felicity’s eyes, he will stop at nothing to protect her, he will make it his mission to keep her alive and no longer on the run.

Susan Stoker keeps us on the edge of our seats with this story. The anticipation of what will happen next and the thrill of seeing how Ryder, his men, and not forgetting the Anderson brothers will strike back, is agonising, in the most magnificent way, the way a book should make you feel, like its all taking place right before your eyes, and you’re not just reading it within the pages of a book.

The strength that Felicity had was amazing; given the past she was running from and the events that had followed. She was still fighting to be free, fighting to have a life. I could feel my anger rise as we learn more about her story, I wanted nothing more than to join Ryder on his mission to end it and make them pay for what they had done.

At first, I was a little unsure on Ryder’s character, which was cleverly done by Susan, she was giving this story an edge of uncertainty to how it was going to pan out and I loved it. As we discovered more about Ryder, I could see that he was a man who had given a lot to his country and fought for what was right. He didn’t hesitate to protect people, at any cost.

Claiming Felicity is a fantastic, intriguing story that has you waiting with abated breath for danger to strike. You can read this book as a Standalone, however, to fully enjoy this story, I recommend reading the series in order, starting with Claiming Grace.

Former mercenary Ryder Sinclair’s stunning discovery that he has three half brothers in Castle Rock, Colorado, is giving them all the chance to color in the spaces of their tragic pasts. For Ryder, establishing roots is made all the more desirable by Felicity Jones. But if Ryder’s instincts are correct, this breathtaking beauty is in trouble.

Castle Rock isn’t Felicity’s home. Like her false identity, it’s just a cover. All she wants is enough cash to keep moving to another temporary hideaway—to stay on the run from a secret that’s haunted her for years. As safe as Ryder’s strong embrace makes her feel, she fears that falling for him, and staying in Colorado, will put everyone she’s come to love in danger.

The more Ryder learns about Felicity, the more determined he is not to let her go. It’s time for her to stop running—even as a relentless danger closes in, threatening their love and their lives.

* * * * *

Just when I was getting ready to be sad that there weren't any more Anderson brothers their half brother show up. Ryder is hard edged, capable and wants to get to know them. And Felicity. She however is none to sure about that especially as she is getting ready to run so that no one she loves is hurt by her past.

I found CLAIMING FELICITY a great addition to the Ace Security series. There is a nice sense of tension from the very first page which quickly ratchets skyward. I have always liked Felicity and found Ryder to be a great addition to the group. Add in the witty banter between the characters, an interesting plot and a villain that you will love to hate, what's not to love.

There are some sex scenes though nothing explicit as the book relies on the build up of desire rather then just jumping in the sack. There is also violence but isn't that expected in the romantic suspense genre?

I do recommend this book and this series to any of my readers who enjoy romantic suspense. I am sad that this series is over but rather happy about the fact that a spinoff is mentioned.
