Unexpected and enchanting. When Ryder first sees Felicity he knows that she is the perfect foil for him. When he discovers that she wants to flee once again, his protective instincts come to the fore. Will she accept his help? Will she be able to emerge from hiding? Will she have a HEA? Book 4 in the series but can be read as a stand alone story.

Ryder is in Castle Rock getting to know his newly discovered have brothers. He meets Felicity and sparks fly but he knows she is hiding something. Felicity feels safe in Ryder’s arms but she knows to keep everyone safe it is time for her to move on. She just needs her money to move on and hide again. Will Ryder let her go? This is a fast-paced read with plenty of drama and suspense. The characters have great chemistry and really help to draw you into the story. I was hooked from beginning to end. Loved it!

This absolutely fantastic book is fourth in the Ace Security series and it features Ryder Sinclair and Felicity Jones. This book is my favorite in this fabulous series. I knew Felicity was a great character from seeing her in previous stories but the things she’s endured that made her who she is today is just awful. Who better to step in and fight for her than the fourth Anderson brother, who she wished for in a previous book, without knowing he actually existed. Ryder is amazing! He took one look at her and knew she was it for him.

I LOVE this book! The characters are fan-freaking-tastic! I was a little sad when it was over though. I can’t wait for the next book from this most excellent author.

***4 Stars***

I find myself in a bit of a conundrum here.
I enjoyed the book. I did. Susan Stoker is one of my fav authors, I love her writing, her characters and the attention to detail she gives to each book. My issue here isn’t due to any of those things, it’s more that I was more intrigued...fascinated...by the baddie than I was when it came to Ryder and Felicity’s journey *Hangs head and sighs*
I know it happens and it’s not a ‘off with your head’ issue or anything, but typically when one is reading a romance novel said reader SHOULD be all about the main couple and not the psycho crazy who is making their lives a living hell...but that’s what we have going on here. With that said…

It is difficult to NOT fall in love with Ryder. He is all kinds of honorable, determined and honest, not only with himself, but with those around him. What I liked about him was that he walked into not one, but two situations that he had no idea how either would pan out, but took everything in stride and made it all work, one way or another. Felicity has thus far been the tough as nails woman with a heart of gold, but here we get to see behind the facade, and though she is tough ~ don’t ever doubt that, finding out why was heartbreaking and yet enlightening to finally see who she really was and have it reinforce what I’d already knew about her.

Their journey to their HEA is that weird combination of insta and slow burn. The insta really does happen instantly, but due to the circumstances things move slowly from that point and as they get to know each other it’s easy to see why they were drawn to one another. Ryder and Felicity were all kind of smexy, sweet and because each others shields, safe place to land and their greatest support system.

The baddie. It was hard to not find the guy fascinating. From his reason for going after Felicity in the first place and all that he did to get to her, it absolutely blew my mind. At one point I wanted to put him in a scientific study just to figure out where the wiring on the guy went haywire, that’s how cray cray he was and I fully admit that they tend to be the ones I gravitate towards.

It’s always easy to get lost in the books that the author writes and this one was no different. We do get to catch up with the Anderson triplets and their women, which was fun, but we also get to meet a whole new set of characters that will be getting their own little spin off series, and I for one cannot wait to get to know this crew better!

I thoroughly enjoyed this mix of romantic suspense, drama and steam, all mixed into one well written and engaging story. Felicity(/Megan) and Ryder are both nicely rounded, likeable and best of all believable characters.

I wasn't too keen on Ryder's 'insta-love' declaration, but this was balanced nicely by the author allowing the relationship between Ryder and Felicity to develop naturally. This is a little slow-burn, which really suited the story line, though the pair had intense chemistry from the outset. Their pairing was sexily sweet and Ryder's loving intensity was enough to make you melt. I adored that Felicity wasn't like the 'stupid girls' in horror films, mindlessly running into danger. No, that girl had survived 10 years on the run from a psychopath and wasn't about to deliberately put herself in the path of danger.

The plot loops and turns with some very surprising twists thrown in for good measure. The last chapter and epilogue nicely rounded off the Ace line of books but also opened the door for several other stories to emerge from this. I also loved that little nod to Roman “Chief” Proudfit (from Shelter for Sophie) and wondered if there's a story for Maria in the ether.

Ryder and Felicity are an amazing duo. Both have seen much more in their lives than anyone should and despite seeing all of that, they are not afraid to love.

I really enjoyed Felicity's spirit. She was a tough woman and she fought fiercely for those she allowed into her inner circle. Despite her past, she has found people whom she loves and knows that she needs to protect them. The men of Ace Security have become her surrogate family and along with them, their wives and children too. I love how much they love her.

Ryder is new to the group and even though he is new, when he first sees Felicity, he can see her for who she is under her tough exterior. He knows that she's hiding and despite knowing that, he pursues her because there is something about her that calls to him and his protective nature.

Felicity does not make it easy on Ryder – she makes him work for her trust. Ryder also has to work to prove that he won't hurt her – prove to his brothers that he's there for good. When the danger draws even closer, they all pull together to figure out how they can protect each other.

I really enjoyed watching Ryder with his own friends and Felicity, as well as with his new family members. It was nice to see that underneath his rough exterior, Ryder is sensitive and knows how to woo Felicity.

I can't wait to see if more of these books come through.

This is the fourth book in the Ace Securities series and I am sad to see it end. But in the end, there is a new series coming that I cannot wait to read.

Felicity Jones is the strong BFF of Grace, she has been in Castle Rock for about five years. No one has questioned her about her past or her family. She seems to have her life in order until the day she wants the part of the money she gave Cole to help them start the gym. Does everyone start to question her why? She doesn't want to tell them her secret, she just needs to run before "HE" gets too close to her.

Ryder Sinclair comes to Castle Rock to get to know his half brothers. When he goes with his brothers to see what is going on with Felicity, he immediately knows she is running from someone. He wants to protect her, or he will die trying. He wants her to tell him why she wants or needs to run but he will not rush her to tell him. Ryder is beginning to have feelings for her that he has never felt before. He knows that he has to tell her about his past and maybe she will tell him what is going on with her.

Can Felicity trust Ryder to protect her and keep her friends safe? Will Ryder be able to keep her safe and let his brothers know he is there to help them keep everyone safe? In the end, will the Anderson triplets accept Ryder as their brother?

I love this series and I think Felicity and Ryder might be my favorite. I think you could read these as standalone stories, but I recommend reading them in order, that way you don't miss anything.

This exciting love story has everything! It's an action-packed crime thriller combined with a melt-you-to-your-toes romance that had me captivated from the first page.

After Megan stands up to her roommate's abusive boyfriend, she finds that she's his next target so she reinvents herself as Felicity and stays as far off the grid as she can. We've seen Felicity in the earlier books of this series, and this one tells her entire story. When her nemesis finds her again, she's all set to pack up and run once more.

Ryder has just arrived in town to meet his three half-brothers, the men of Ace Security. Ryder is no stranger to high-risk assignments, and when he meets Felicity he quickly sees how much trouble she's in and knows he's just the man to keep her safe. And then he's going to marry her.

I loved the way Ryder just knew right from the start that Felicity was the one for him. I loved how he made her feel safe enough to let down her defenses and feel more like herself. There's a beautiful HEA of course, but the way they get there is anything but predictable. It's a wonderful story, and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Felicity has been on the run for so long that she doesn’t remember any other kind of life. She was beginning to think she was safe and had made a new life for herself in Castle Rock but now her stalker has found her and she knows she is running out of time. She refuses to let him hurt any of the people she has come to love so the time has come for her to leave.

Ryder has come to Castle Rock to see his half brothers Blake, Logan and Nathan. Although they had no knowledge of him they do have their interest in security in common and they are adapting to their prodigal brother.

From the moment Ryder saw Felicity he felt a deep connection and he knows that things are not as they appear. Once he finds out the truth he is not about to let her run and he and his brothers will do whatever is necessary to protect her but will they be able to keep her and their town safe from her stalker?

In this suspenseful story not only do we get to catch up with the characters in the previous books in this series but we also get a chance to meet the characters in her upcoming series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This series of books are excellent. I loved how Ryder just took over the minute he met Felicity. She was so afraid and he knew just what to do. A very good story with just the right amount of suspense to keep you interested. My favorite part has to be the ending. You can't go wrong reading this book, I highly recommend any book by this author.

This book is exciting and entertaining. What if falling in love could cost you everything? Maybe even your very life? What would you risk for those you love? These are the questions that power this well written and thought provoking story. Rich with drama, danger, passion, family, friends and deep emotional connections the storyline is engrossing. I loved the romance that blossomed between Felicity and Ryan. They were simply perfect for each other. I recommend this for readers that enjoy books that have strong storylines and emotional depth.

First of all, I would like to say how much more I enjoyed Claiming Felicity than Claiming Bailey. We didn't have any ungrateful people in this book and I liked that. The story was also able to hold my interest and I liked the characters (both secondary and main). It made me wonder how Ryder was able to see through Felicity's facade so fast while the people who were her friends didn't suspect a thing.

Felicity is a good heroine. She has managed to hide from the evil person who is chasing her for a long time and when he finds her in the town she lives she does everything she can to make sure that none of her friends will be in danger. Ryder's job is to keep her safe and find the bad guy before he finds them. The insta-love between the two characters helped Ryder's case because he is not willing to lose the woman he loves. I would have liked to see Ryder spend more time with his half brothers and see them bonding, but the book is focused on Ryder and Felicity.

In this novel, we were introduced to the Mountain Mercenaries who are Ryder's friends. I liked them and I want to read the series where they are going to be the main characters. They were very interesting. I would recommend this book and I would also recommend to check out the Mountain Mercenaries series when the first book is out.

3.75 stars--CLAIMING FELICITY is the instalment in Susan Stoker’s contemporary, adult ACE SECURITY romantic suspense series focusing on the Anderson triplets (Blake, Logan and Nathan) and the family owned Ace Security. This is former mercenary and half-brother Ryder Sinclair, and gym co-owner Felicity Jones’ story line. CLAIMING FELICITY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the content of the story line including murder, emotional and physical abuse against women, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from several third person perspectives including Felicity and Ryder using past and present day CLAIMING FELICITY follows the quick building relationship between former mercenary, and the Anderson triplets’ half-brother Ryder Sinclair, and gym owner Felicity Jones.

Ryder never knew his father or the half-brothers now living in Castle Rock, Colorado. Finding a kindred spirit in the world of protection and security the Anderson triplets reluctantly welcomed their father’s spawn from another woman-a woman they knew nothing about. Growing up with an abusive mother who murdered their father Blake, Logan and Nathan Anderson will soon discover Ryder’s mother may have been the missing clue to their father’s demise.

Felicity Jones is on the run from the man that not only destroyed her life but took
the life of her mother, and someone she once considered a friend. With an increase in threats and anonymous letters our heroine prepares to pack up and leave the quiet town of Castle Rock, Colorado to ensure the safety of everyone she loves. Enter Ryder Sinclair, former mercenary and the man with whom Felicity will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance between Felicity and Ryder, and the potential fall out as Felicity comes face to face with her past-a man who has taken away more than anyone could have imagined, and has threatened to take away so much more.

The relationship between Ryder and Felicity is one of instant attraction. Ryder immediately claims Felicity as his own in a desperate attempt to prove he is worthy of his brothers’ approval. Not wanting to stray too far from the woman with whom he is falling in love Ryder becomes Felicity’s personal guardian and protector as their relationship begins a slow-burn towards a happily ever after but saying that, the instant claiming and profession of ‘ownership’ is a little reminiscent of the stalker from who she is trying to escape. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Logan and Grace (Claiming Grace #1), Blake and Alexis (Claiming Alexis), Bailey and Nathan 9Claiming Bailey #3) Bailey’s ten year old brother Joel; Felicity’s business partner, and self defense instructor Cole; her former roommate Colleen and Colleen’s boyfriend Joseph Waters; as well as a large number of mercenaries for hire known as the Mountain Mercenaries. Susan Stoker has plans for a spin-off series focusing on the Mountain Mercenaries.

CLAIMING FELICITY is a suspense filled story of obsession and revenge. The premise is energetic; the characters are strong, engaging and passionate; the romance is spirited and provocative. CLAIMING FELICITY introduces the characters in the author’s new spin-off series focusing on Ryder’s former brothers in arms- the Mountain Mercenaries-Grayson (Gray), Hunter (Meat), Archer (Arrow), Lowell (Black), Kannon (Ball) and Ronan (Ro).

One of the strongest heroines I have known in Susan Stoker's world, finally needs help and an HEA and WOWZ...what an INCREDIBLY written, EXTREMELY HEART MELTING ROMANCE with heart stopping suspense, and a hero who is EVERYTHING AMAZING AND SPECIAL!

Claiming Felicity is another exciting book by Susan Stoker! I DEVOURED this book in 2 days. I could hardly put it down. Ryder is the kind of hero ONLY Miss Stoker could create. He is loyal, sweet, passionate, and protective. Felicity may have been hiding from her past but when Ryder enters her life, he changes it for the better. Its one of the biggest reasons why I LOVED this book. It has the kind of romance and insta-love I find completely endearing and that I am smitten with. There is also the right amount of suspense and action that is a real nail-biter. What a great read!

Claiming Felicity gets a PERFECT FIVE SHOOTING STARS! You can't beat a romantic suspense by Susan Stoker...no way, no how!

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. Susan Stoker has a way of telling a story that had my heart racing, heart pounding, heart aching, some tears flowing, spine tingling and sighing and swooning.
Ryder is a mercenary and comes to Castle Rock to meet his half brothers and while there he meets Felicity, a woman who has him feeling something he has never before. He knows right away that she is hiding something and is scared, all the while hiding behind a tough exterior she shows to everyone else.
Their meeting is intense and so is the rest of their story which includes Felicity finally trusting someone enough to let them into her life and to stop running away from her past and a dangerous threat.
Ryder..what a man...a man who is intense, who opens up to Felicity w/o hesitation, who isn’t afraid to express what he’s feeling, a man who is patient, a man who is fierce and a protector, a man who loves Felicity with everything he is...WOW WOW WOW...a man I’d want in my corner.
An AMAZING read with suspense, some action, love at first sight and steamy scenes that were sensual. A read that flowed perfectly, a read that I couldn’t put down (didn’t want to) and a book I will read again and again. Now I can’t wait for the next series starring the Mercenary Men !!
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

The price you pay to keep your friends safe is steep...

When you’re hiding and have been on the run, the price you pay to keep your friends safe can be and is steep. As Felicity, discovered early on in her young life, sometimes trying to help others in need, to keep them from harm puts you on the radar of a bad man. That man becomes your living nightmare.

Nothing and no one will stand in the way of a cruel psychopathic, misogynist hell bent on revenge and mind games. Malicious, taunting, murderous games played to unhinge and make Felicity fear and go on the run till he’s ready to catch his prey.

Step in the man who will protect and love Felicity with his life. With Ryder by her side and the Anderson family (ACe Security) and Ryder’s mercenary team - it’s going to take their collective best to beat a determined, stealthy stalker.

Incredibly strong characters characters, with such depths of inner fortitude and never give up attitude. A family and beautiful friends that are caring, They are there for each other no matter what. They are family and will do whatever it takes to protect those they love.

A beautiful story, well written and thoroughly intriguing in its intensity and suspense. Susan also leaves you with a surprise. Sadness reigns as you hold your breath,
does love triumph?
are new memories made?
as new stories unfold, you are going to be drawn into the world of the Mountain Mercenaries, Ryder’s former world. One that’s sure to bring a boatload of drama, trouble and a whole lot of new romance. I can’t wait!!

Susan Stoker is one of my all time favourite authors in Military/Romantic Suspense. If you love page turning, heart pounding, breath taking words - Susan Stoker, constantly delivers this and so much more to her readers. What are you waiting for?

Anyone who's read the rest of Stoker's Ace Security series has been hoping for Felicity's story and now here it is. We get to see behind the tough exterior to the Felicity underneath: a woman so afraid of the ghosts of her past that she is constantly ready to run, lives off the grid as much as possible, and tries never to get close to anyone. But she's been in Castle Rock for five years and become close to the Anderson brothers and their wives. Leaving them would break her heart, but when threatening notes from an old stalker show up, she's ready to do it to keep them safe. Ryder is a tough enough mercenary that he makes her feel safe, like she might have a chance staying in Castle Rock. He's refreshingly honest about himself and his work and lays it out in a way that makes you like him even more. You would trust Ryder even as you feel badly for the things he's seen and done over the course of his career. He doesn't brag, and there's nothing macho or testosterone fueled about who he is or what he does.

While the insta-love Ryder feels for Felicity struck me as being more what I'd expect from a paranormal romance case of true mates than a contemporary romance love-at-first-sight, somehow Stoker makes it work. The reader accepts it as easily as Ryder does- though Felicity understandably has a few doubts. Similarly, the relationship between the Anderson brothers and Ryder develops in a very natural and realistic way. Neither side accepts the other completely at the beginning, and both sides are a little uncertain how to separate their parents's past actions from the present. Felicity's stalker, Joseph, was a deeply creepy nut job and after learning a bit about how he's attacked her in the past it's much more understandable that Felicity would try to run than to turn to friends for help- even security expert friends.

Claiming Felicity may be one of Stoker's best books to-date. The emotions are raw and intense, the action is fast-paced, and the bad guy is terrifying. The book is stand-alone, although having read the other Ace Security books helped me with fully understanding the brothers and their interactions with Ryder. There are a few brief cameos from some of Stoker's other books (Shelter for Sophie) but again, they were more cases of smiling when you realized who they were than people who's books you need to have already read. And we get some tantalizing teasers of the group who will be a future series! All in all, a great book and one that leaves you wanting to read past series while you wait for the next one.

I loved Ryder and Felicity's book! Once again Susan Stoker takes us on an adventure with her sweet sexy Alpha's who know exactly what they want and go after it! Loved how Ryder took care of Felicity even when she didn't know she needed it. And the suspense had me on the edge of my seat, it was one of my favorite stories from this author and I have read all of her books. It has it all, romance, sexy times, suspense and hot alpha hero. What more could you want? Loved it!!

This was not my first Susan Stoker novel, however, this was my first Ace Security novel. Normally I have not had trouble jumping in mid-series when I've read her books since most Stoker novels can be read as standalones. I love that fact that I can decide to read the books in order or jump around if I really fall in love with a secondary character she brings to the forefront. That being said, I found I had a little trouble "catching up" to the backstory that followed Ryder Sinclair into this novel since I had not read the previous Ace Security books. Luckily Susan Stoker is a great writer and doesn't leave us, the reader, hanging from all mystery and wonder what everyone is talking about forever. If you are like me and want to jump into the book/series like I did with book 4, you will eventually find out what baggage Ryder has brought with him and how it affects those closest to him, just know it might take a few chapters and that it doesn't take away from the overall plot of what is happening between Ryder and Felicity.

So, now that I've hopefully explained my 4 star rating, I do want to tell you what I did love about the book. Ryder is the perfect combination of Alpha and sweet male. Protective, yet sensitive. Probably the ultimate male fantasy, but that is why he's perfect, right. Then there was Felicity another combination of tough, part-owner of a gym and then sweet, everyone wants to be her best friend female. The perfect couple you want to hate in real life, but couldn't because they are awesome. Together they have great chemistry and that makes a book very hard to put down.

Felicity "Megan" Jones has been on the run for years. She has become adept at hiding the real her so much that she wonders who that is anymore, but when Ryder Sinclair steps into her world he makes her feel more like herself, her true self, then she has in a very long time. And that is dangerous. Not because she doesn't want to let Ryder in, but because of what he could expose. She can't take that chance on letting someone else close get hurt because of her. Not again.

Ryder "Ace" Sinclair wants to settle down, especially now that he's found his three half brothers. He'd walk away from the hard life he used to live for his family, but even more so he'd do it for Felicity Jones. From the moment he met her he knew she was the woman for him. He also knew she was in trouble. His background as a mercenary rescuing women and children from the dredges of society showed him all the signs of a woman in trouble. He wasn't about to let anything happen to her, not while he was alive to protect her.

Together they can bring Felicity peace and make sure she never has to run again. Together they can find a future surrounded by family and friends if danger take everything they hope and dream for from them first.
