A very fun read for young readers. Great illustrations and exciting adventure and plot. Overall it was not something I personally enjoyed but I do think that there is definitely an audience of young readers out there that this would be engaging to and I believe would encourage them to continue reading so for that I think it's definitely worth it's weight on a shelf.

I especially loved the illustrations. They’re very Tim Burton. The story has a lot of action. It’s fun to see how these little people get around a world made by humans--they build some very clever contraptions. The narrative isn’t consistently good, but it was consistently enjoyable to read.
