Wow! I have just finished the third Morgan Dane book and I was floored when the killer was revealed! I did not see it coming and personally I think this is the best Morgan Dane book yet! Melinda Leigh never disappoints but she outdid herself this time. Do yourself a favor and read this book if you love romantic suspense books.

Enjoy catching up with all the characters in this series. A complex story which was fast paced and kept you guessing till the end.

Another series I am thoroughly enjoying and the third book doesn't disappoint. It gives us a lot more back ground into Lance and a good progression on his relationship with Sharpe & Morgan. I love how these characters work together and are developing.

#Didn'tseethatcoming Wow!! LOVE LOVE this book. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes mystery, suspense, along with real life relationships. I have read all Melinda Leigh's books. She knocked it out of the park,
If you read book 1 and 2 this will still surprise you. If you haven't read the first two, you will still be able to read and enjoy it all. More please!!! #BonesDon'tLie #Netgalley

Reading this series has reminded me of the story of the hare and the turtle. Slow and steady like the turtle wins the race. Each book through the series has been a slow, gentle build up to the conclusions in Bones Don’t Lie, Book 3.
The romance between Lance and Morgan has progressed slowly and gently. And the mystery of the disappearance of Lance’s father over 20 years ago has been built up bit by bit over the previous books.
In Bones Don’t Lie, we finally get to the end of our slow and steady (and great) race. The romance between Lance and Morgan has come to full fruition and we also finally get to find out what happened to Lance’s father all those years ago. The
I really enjoyed Bones Don’t Lie. There was one thing that did slightly irritate me though. I felt this book should have focused solely on Lance and his troubles, with Morgan being more of a support character, as Lance had been for her in book 1 and 2. I wasn’t really impressed with the storyline of Morgan being terrorised/stalked again. She’s had guys attacking her in both the previous books, I didn’t feel this line of story needed to play out again.
It was great to learn more about Lincoln Sharpe in this book. We’ve known how much he helped Lance and his mum over the years, how intigual he is to their lives. So it was nice have some chapters from his point of view.
And the conclusion to the mystery of what happened to Lance’s father was surprising. I never would have guessed that ending.
Overall this was another great book in the Morgan Dane series. If it is the concluding book in the series I think the series has been a great read from start to finish. If it isn’t, can’t wait to see what Morgan and Lance get up to next.

This book kept me guessing until the end .... I've read the whole series and love how the characters have developed over time. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and seeing Morgan and Lance's relationship develop and hoepfully learn more about Sharp.

I've been reading this series from book one but honestly, just when you think the series can't get any better, WHAM! It does.
A page turner for sure with a story that held my interest throughout, characters that I've come to love and an ending that will shock you to the core.
An EXCELLENT read.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Every time is read a book by Melinda I think know what I'm getting, but, that's not the case. Each book is far better than her last. Ms Leigh keeps me guessing all through the book and just when I think I've solved it, I haven't,this in my opinion is the skill of a fantastic author. I loved stepping back into the lives of old friend's, that how I think of some characters, Lance and Morgan make an awesome team, and they've always got each others back... I don't want to go into the story and ruin this amazing book for future readers.. I will say don't hesitate and buy this book now, put the kettle on and enjoy the ride...

And yet another hit for Melinda Leigh! I absolutely love the characters of Morgan and Dane. It was nice to focus more on Dane's backstory this time and flesh out the character of Sharp. This series is thrilling and romantic. A very enjoyable read.

I really loved this exciting, suspenseful story, and I never once suspected who the killer turned out to be. It is a well written and researched storyline that has you misled and captivated at every turn. The characters continue to grow both individually and in their relationships with every book written and you can not help but be attached to them. I think the small details that the author includes in the story, like a mother of three not wanting to drink too much water while on a stakeout because she knows she her bladder is weaker, adds greatly to the realism of the book. I enjoyed this story immensely and think it is the best in the series so far. I received an early copy via NetGalley. This in no way influenced my review and all opinions expressed are solely my own.

This series just keeps getting better and better! Melinda Leigh is a romantic suspense master and her genius continues with Bones Don’t Lie. This is Book 3 and wraps up the underlying mystery for the Kruger family. It also deepens the relationship between Lance and Morgan. This happens so organically and is handled skillfully and beautifully. It was just perfect.
There was a lot going on in this book! I’m so impressed at how the author channeled the ever evolving storylines into an explosive ending. And talk about a shocker, I really didn’t expect that bad guy or the ending. I should know by now to expect the unexpected. I really hope this series continues. I’d like to see Sharp get a love interest (I VOLUNTEER!!) and to learn a bit more about him. And I just can’t get enough of Morgan and Lance.

In another great adventure for Morgan and Lance, a killer is finally brought to justice in Scarlet Falls. The car of Lance’s father is finally found and skeletal remains were found in the trunk. Bones Don’t Lie took me on an intense journey as Morgan, Lance and Sharp try to figure out who killed the girl in the trunk and what happened to Lance’s father. I was shocked when the killer was brought to light! I never would have guessed. This book was both heart wrenching and heartwarming at the same time. The love that Lance and Morgan have found together brings an added touch to the mystery elements of this series that I love. I can’t wait for their next adventure.

I’m a big fan of Melinda Leigh and love her Morgan Dane series, but I must confess that I found myself underwhelmed by BONES DON’T LIE, the third instalment in the series. Morgan and Lance (oh, Lance… be still, my heart!) are as awesome and enjoyable as ever, and the continued evolution of their relationship is heartwarming and adorable… but for something that has been a big driver in the series, the unraveling of the mystery of Lance’s father’s disappearance felt rather unsatisfying. Without giving away any spoilers, the plot required too much suspension of disbelief on my part, and I didn’t find the villain’s motivation and actions believable or compelling-- but it still made for an enjoyable enough read. Curious to see where Ms. Leigh goes next with the series.

As Morgan, Lance, and Sharp continue looking for Lance's dad she continues to build her reputation as defense council. But the newest developments in a case pit Morgan and the new ADA against each other.

When the car Vic was driving that night is pulled from the lake with bones in the trunk it sets in motion a series of events that might cost them their lives.

I'm such a fan of this series and its characters!

Thank you very much to NetGalley, Montlake and Melinda Leigh for the advance copy of Bones Don't Lie. I've read and loved all of Melinda's books to date and I couldn't wait to read this one. When Morgan Dane, Lance Kruger and Lincoln Sharp join forces to find out what happened to Lance's father Vic Kruger who disappeared 23 years ago and people start dying! Absolutely loved this book and as with all of Melinda's books it kept me hooked all the way through and surprised the hell out of me as I did not guess the killer. Another excellent read from my favourite author.
