What a great end to the series I was pulled right into Tessa and Tristan story and found myself ready right through the night. This was well written and a steamy read at times. Tristan is quite a dark character but that's because of how damaged he is over his past I just love watching his and Tessa relationship develop this was a great addition to the series

Although this says it’s a stand-alone I would highly recommend reading the first two first. This is my first by this author and I felt like I was missing something. That being said this book is heartbreaking and emotional but so so good. I highly recommend it

Such a great heartwarming book. Thus us book three and considered a standalone, it might be better if the other two were read prior to this. Other than that, we'll written, great storyline and plot. Excellent read!

This is the first book by this author I've read which obviously means I haven't read the other books in this series. While this book can be read as a standalone I think it would have been better had I read the other two.

That said, I enjoyed this book. Tristan has the most heartbreaking story I think I've ever read; I'm glad that Mark was there for him and was able to provide some constant in his life during his hellish childhood. I felt for Tessa who was dealing with her own issues with having her father's debt collector blackmailing her for information. I think I would have appreciated the relationship between Tessa and Grace more had I read the other books in the series.

This was a good book as far as romance stories go. I did, unfortunately, find it to have that bit of cheese with the start of Tristan and Tessa’s relationship that so many romance novels give over to. BUT, the background nd for both characters was so good that I was able to overlook the cheesiness. This was a well written story that definitely holds your attention.

Wow a story this was. I was totally consumed by Tessa and Tristan’s story. Tristan had this wounded soul, moody, dark character going on. This story was addicting, captivating and suspenseful. I was never bored there was always something going on that made it quite entertaining.

The characters were perfectly created for this story, they made me feel so many emotions for them. I loved Tristan very much. Bottomline is this is a must read.

There were quite a few scorching hot steamy scenes that could make snow melt off the roof. I strongly recommend this story with a great HEA.

I read this as a standalone but I think it would have been a bit better if I'd had more background about the other characters. I did enjoy this though regardless. I liked the two main characters and the way their relationship built. Both characters have their own secrets and pasts and there's a bit of mystery as well which is always good. Once they both gave in to the strong connection between them there was no holding back. The sex scenes were well written and steamy. I lie how the whole story wrapped up and am interested in reading more.

When Tristan was 16 something horrendous happened and he lost everything and 20 years later, his soul is still tortured. Tessa has her own secrets and that is why she ran to the island and took a job at the resort her friends own. When Tessa meets Tristan she can feel the powerful pull between them and does everything in her power to bring him out of his shell. I don't want to say anything more about the story line, because I don't want to spoil it for others.

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Ames and it won't be the last! This is the 3rd book in the series and I wish I had read the first 2 books first, so I will definitely be going back to read them. The twist and turns are unbelievable ... it got to the point where I just stopped trying to guess what was gonna happen next and just read the story, letting it take me wherever it went. My heart broke for Tristan and what he endured since he was 16. I couldn't help but love Tessa for being so brave to stand up to him and not let him get away with being a recluse. This book is so emotionally charged that I would be laughing 1 minute and the next I would be crying. I highly recommend this book ... but read the first 2 books first!

I picked up this book by an new-to-me author because I loved the cover: serious, dark, clean. Reading the blurb, I was hoping the book would be the same. And it was: The writing was great, just as serious and clean as I love it. I also loved the dark parts, though I would have loved to hear more about both of them were dealing with their pasts rather than falling over each other again and again. Don't get me wrong, the steamy scenes were really hot and well done. I would just have preferred more of the other. All in all, it delivered what I expected and I enjoyed reading it.
