As I've learned to expect, a beautifully written and fun read. Miller writes wonderfully believable stories with flawed but truly good heroes and heroines

I really enjoyed this book. Honor was left at the alter 9 years ago, Now she is a widow with 4 Children. Luke has never been able to get honor out of his mind. Honor goes to the matchmaker looking for a suitable husband, Luke goes to the matchmaker wanting a match with Honor.

Does it work out? Read it and see. Thank you netgalley and Love inspired for allowing me to read this title for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this. I have only read Amish books from a few different Authors and I like to see how their traditions are different. Each community has different rules. This was the most modern Amish community that I have been introduced to but I liked it. Honor needed help, she just couldn't admit it to herself. Her kids were running the household in their own little way. Being a widow with 4 small children had to be rough! I could not imagine, especially being so far from other families.

I love Amish themed romance. I thought this book had a lot of classic elements, particularly the theme of second chance at love. A Man for Honor was good but not great. I enjoyed the characters and did get invested in their lives but just wanted a little more of the day to day detail. I wasn't a fan of the cover at all but think with a little work this could go from good to great very easily.

A Man For Honor is a book of heartbreak, unrequited love, forgiveness and re-establishment. Honor was left at the altar by Luke. She turns to the matchmakers to find her a new husband for her and a father for her four children. Well, as they do that and she trusts GOD to do this for her. Guess who comes back to her life looking for a wife, yep the stupid man who left her at the alter. Guess what he wants? Yes, he wants her. So he plans on weaseling back into her life and win her back by working on her house. Does it work or will he be left behind? Come see for yourself.

When Luke Weaver hires Sara Yoder, the Amish matchmaker, he already knows who he wants to marry, but he needs Sara's help to win her back. Years ago Luke jilted Honor, and she married another, now widowed and the mother of 4 children, she could use some help around her farm.

Honor reluctantly agrees to let Luke help to fix up the farm, but insists on paying him.

Can Luke win back Honor's trust, and her heart?

Honor has her hands full with three boys who are always getting into mischief and a baby daughter. With Luke around she gets the opportunity to get out more, and socialize with the women of the community. She is likes Luke's easy going nature, and how he doesn't nit pick every move she makes.

I like how this book has a lot going on and brings back many characters from Sara's previous clients. There are a lot of problems to solve, and I like how Luke is great with Honor's children.

I like the man that Luke has become, he is a hard worker and doesn't give up when he knows what he wants. He doesn't shy away from his mistakes of the past and owns up to his past. I like how he encourages Honor, and is respectful of her loss and that she needs some time to trust him again.

Overall, this is a great Amish read, surprises and second chances, as well as great interaction between the main characters, make this a highly enjoyable read--especially if you have read the previous books in the series. Enjoyable read.

This is a reunion romance. Honor is a widow with four young children, the baby born six months after the death of her husband. She needs a husband and she asks the matchmaker to find her a nice steady, reliable man.

The man the matchmaker puts forward is Luke, who abandoned Honor on her wedding day. Devastated by his betrayal, she marries the first man who asks and it isn’t entirely successful. When he died, he left Honor with a delapidated house and farm and a very mischievous set of boys and her baby girl.

Luke knew they were too young to marry, but he’s regretted hurting Honor every day since he walked away. This is his chance to make it right, but having lost her trust, it’s going to take a lot more than fixing her house to win her back.

This was a lovely little story with a satisfying ending.

This story truly is Love Inspired - with the matchmaker from Seven Poplars helping to give Luke a second chance at winning the heart and hand of Honor King, the person he left at the altar nine years ago. He is returning to the area in the hope of rekindling their love after the death of the man she married after he abandoned her. First, however, he has to win the trust of Honor and get her to speak to him again if he’s to stand any chance. She’s now a widow with four children under seven years of age and the three boys are mischief in waiting! Her home is in serious need of repair but will she let him help?

This is a heartwarming Amish romance, with characters from previous books in this series making a welcome reappearance - though you don’t need to have read the earlier books to enjoy this one. With three mischievous boys who make a dramatic appearance from the start, Honor certainly has her hands full! Luke has to literally work his way back into her life and into her heart. There are laugh out loud moments and others of high drama in this delightful romance which I have no hesitation in highly recommending!

I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

I loved this story and it made me smile, especially when the book opens and the boys fly out of the barn and into a mud puddle, oh boy does Honor have her hands full!
The author has a young man Luke returning to his roots and the woman he literally left at the altar, and now he wants to rekindle his relationship, with the help of the Matchmaker, with Honor. We get to watch as he works his way back into her life, a little bit at a time.
We find that forgiveness isn’t always easy, and old hurts don’t always go away easily, but everyday life goes on, and with four children in the picture things sure do get interesting.
If you want a sweet, few chuckles, quick page-turning read, don’t miss this one!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.
